GMO Properties LLC is seeking an experienced Buildium Accounting Audit & Cleanup Consultant to review, audit, and clean up our Buildium books as we transition from pooled/shared bank accounts to property-specific bank accounts. This is not a basic bookkeeping role. We need someone with strong Buildium experience, real estate accounting knowledge, and the ability to review historical transactions, identify discrepancies, explain the source of errors, and assist with corrections while preserving a clear audit trail. Project Background We manage multiple rental properties, including properties held under separate LLCs / Series LLCs. Historically, some banking activity was processed through pooled or shared bank accounts. Buildium is now showing uneven property-level cash balances, with some properties showing negative balances and others positive. Before we complete the transition to property-specific bank accounts, we need a qualified consultant to audit the books, reconcile property-level cash, review bank activity, and help establish clean opening balances for each property-specific account.
