We are an established content creation team looking for a highly skilled, creative, and passionate Video Editor to join us. We currently operate with a dedicated Producer and Director, and we are missing the final piece of our puzzle: a storytelling editor who can take raw, high-quality footage and transform it into a cinematic masterpiece. Our primary upcoming project is a brand-new channel called Will It Hold Labs? which focuses on highly visual, data-driven stress tests, material experiments, and creative builds (starting heavily with LEGO mechanics, but scaling into a massive variety of materials). We are looking for an editor who can blend crisp, high-speed cinematic visuals with engaging, structured storytelling. Note: We have multiple other YouTube brands currently in development. If we find the right fit, this has the potential to turn into a long-term, multi-channel partnership. The Visionary Editor: We don’t just want a "button pusher." We need someone who can see the blueprint of what we are trying to create, match our intended vibe, and then inject their own artistic flair. We want you to see creative angles, pacing, and visual jokes/hooks that we might have missed in production. Dynamic Range: You should be a master of pacing—knowing when to let a beautiful, slow-motion cinematic shot breathe with rich sound design, and when to cut tightly to maximize viewer retention. Deliverables: * Long-Form Content: 8 to 30-minute highly engaging episodic videos. Short-Form Content: Highly optimized, fast-paced YouTube Shorts (up to 90 seconds) pulled from our main concepts. Work Whenever You Want: You own your schedule. As long as deadlines are met with exceptional quality, we do not care what hours you spend editing. On-Call Availability: Because production and strategy can pivot quickly, we need an editor who is relatively flexible and available for off-the-cuff questions, sync calls, or strategy alignment. Ideally, you should be reachable between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM (Mountain Time) for occasional random phone calls or quick check-ins. Software Mastery: Must be highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve Studio. (Please do not apply if you only use Premiere, Final Cut, etc.—our workflow is entirely built around DaVinci Resolve Studio). Proven experience editing highly engaging long-form YouTube content and vertical Shorts. Mastery of sound design (layering crisp SFX, balancing background tracks, and timing audio to visual payoffs). Strong color grading skills to elevate raw footage into a polished, premium product. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego attitude.

Looking to start a YouTube channel, and have content ideas. However, I do not have adequate equipment or know how to do much of logistics, in terms of camera, microphone, lighting, etc. Would like someone to help set up quality production for in-home studio so that I can start publishing my content. Right now, I don't have much of a setup or knowledge of videography with my laptop. We can continue working together with marketing, editing, etc. if it is a good fit.

About Mylkit: At Mylkit, we set out to redefine what nut mylk should taste like. Our founder traveled the world tasting nuts and discovered how deeply origin and cultivation shape flavor, a richness supermarket mylk simply can’t match. That insight led to the creation of Stella, Mylkit’s sleek nut mylk maker, designed to bring fresh, flavorful mylk into everyday life at home. True to the brand’s name, every Stella machine comes with a Mylkit Kit, including five nut pouches and a digital scale, so customers can begin their mylk ritual from day one. To us, nut mylk should be more than just a product, it should be a ritual rooted in flavor, quality, and intention. The role: We’re looking for a Content Creator to help us introduce the world of Mylkit to new audiences through short-form video. This role is about more than creating content for social media. It’s about capturing the rituals, flavors, and everyday beauty of Mylkit and translating them into videos people instantly connect with. We’re looking for content that feels native to short-form social media, with the same videos being published across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, while also helping us grow brand awareness and bring more people into the Mylkit universe. Mylkit may use the created videos across both organic social media channels and paid advertising campaigns on the platforms mentioned above. We want someone who understands how to create videos that spark curiosity and desire, content that makes people want to discover Mylkit, pour a glass, try a recipe, experience the product, and see fresh nut mylk as part of a more beautiful daily ritual. Responsabilities: • Deliver 3 fully edited short-form videos per week for Mylkit’s social channels • Create content aligned with Mylkit’s aesthetic, voice, and brand universe, including product-focused videos, recipe content, taste tests, and organic UGC-style videos • Provide weekly video concepts in advance, ideally including a short script or outline for each planned video Ideal Profile: • Experience creating video content for social media • Strong understanding of how to create content that feels organic, elevated, and emotionally engaging • Ability to produce content consistently and independently • Native or advanced English proficiency • Genuine interest in cooking, recipes, and food-related content is a plus Compensation: Mylkit offers a fixed rate of USD 50 per approved video. The expected content volume is 3 videos per week, for a total of 13 videos per month. Based on this structure, the monthly compensation would be USD 650. In addition to the fixed video rate, the creator may be eligible for a monthly performance bonus based on accumulated organic views. Views are counted during the first 30 days after each video is published. The bonus is calculated monthly based on the total organic views generated by the creator’s approved videos during that period. Paid views, boosted views, or views generated through paid advertising campaigns will not count toward the performance bonus.

Freelance Videographer — Gym / Movement Training (San Diego) Location: San Diego, CA Type: Freelance / Contract Setting: Indoor gym Gear: Camera available if needed (you bring tripod / basic accessories) About the Project I’m looking for a reliable freelance videographer to set up and capture well-framed, aesthetically clean video of joint- and tissue-specific training in a gym setting. The work includes mobility training, isometrics, controlled strength work, and some strongman movements. Much of the training (including FRC-style work) is intentionally slow, subtle, or static, so the priority is composition and framing, not action tracking. I have a camera if necessary. The primary goal of this role is to offload setup, framing, and clip handling so I can remain focused on training. What Matters Most in This Role This is not high-energy sports videography. What matters is: A strong eye for composition and aesthetics Comfort making static or minimally moving shots feel intentional Clean framing, background awareness, and visual consistency Working quietly and respectfully in a gym environment If you enjoy making subtle movement look thoughtful and visually compelling, this will be a good fit. Responsibilities Set up camera and tripod before sessions Frame shots thoughtfully (angles, spacing, background, symmetry) Adjust framing between sets as needed (minimal disruption) Manage basic setup and breakdown Capture footage during training without interrupting flow Organize and deliver clips after each session Optional: light edits (trims, slow motion, basic color correction) Note: Camera movement is optional and minimal. Most shots will be locked-off or adjusted between sets. Deliverables Depending on preference: Raw footage, clearly organized Lightly edited clips (trimmed, slow-mo where appropriate) MP4 exports in 1080p or 4K We’ll align on this upfront. Ideal Background (Flexible) Videography, photography, or content creation experience Fitness, movement, yoga, or strength training exposure is a plus Comfortable shooting in gyms Editing experience (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci) is helpful but optional You do not need to be a high-end cinematographer. Why This Role Exists I’m working to share a simple idea: you don’t have to choose between moving well, looking good, and being strong — even after injury. To communicate that well, the visuals need to feel intentional and clean. Handling camera setup myself pulls me out of the meditative flow of training. This role exists to manage setup and framing so I can stay fully present, while the work is captured clearly and aesthetically. Compensation Negotiable based on experience and scope: Shooting only: $30–$60/hr Shooting + light edits: $40–$75/hr Per-session flat rates available Please include your preferred rate. How to Apply Please send: A short reel or examples (movement / fitness preferred, but not required) Your rate (hourly or per session) Your availability in San Diego
