Eligibility: This role is open to U.S. citizens only due to client security and compliance requirements. Please apply through this posting only — do not contact Data-Sleek directly regarding this position. Applications received outside this channel will not be considered and reported to Upwork. Data-Sleek is looking for a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to lead our on-premise and government-cloud AI deployments. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered data pipelines for clients who cannot use commercial cloud due to ITAR, CMMC, or other data residency constraints, beginning with a client in the aerospace and defense sector. Beyond this first engagement, you will become Data-Sleek's go-to engineer for AI deployments across defense and aerospace clients, building the practice rather than just executing a single project. About Data-Sleek Founded in 2020, Data‑Sleek® is a U.S.-based AI and data consulting firm that helps mid-market companies build the data foundation that AI actually runs on. We own the full path — data strategy, architecture, integration, warehousing, and AI implementation — so organizations can adopt AI with confidence, stay compliant, and scale, without first hiring an internal data team. Our distributed U.S. team (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Dallas, Chicago, and New York) partners with clients across healthcare, finance, insurance, logistics, and technology, modernizing data platforms with best-in-class tools like Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Tableau, and AWS. Trusted by Fortune 500 institutions and growing companies alike, Data‑Sleek turns complex data into measurable outcomes — faster insight, lower cost, and AI projects that deliver. About the Role You will own the technical delivery of AI-powered data pipelines in restricted environments where commercial cloud is not an option. The immediate engagement centers on a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data migration: building a pipeline that connects to a client's SharePoint on a restricted Microsoft 365 government tenant, reads engineering documents, classifies and summarizes them, detects duplicates, and rates naming-convention compliance to produce a migration-readiness report. You will start on-premise, then help the client evaluate and move to government cloud for production. Key Responsibilities AI Pipeline Development Build AI pipelines that connect to a client's SharePoint on a government cloud tenant, read engineering documents, classify them by type, generate summaries, detect duplicates, and rate naming-convention compliance in support of PLM data migration. Catalog large document repositories and produce migration-readiness reports and Excel catalogs that give clients a clear, measurable picture of their data. Engineer document-parsing workflows across DOCX, PDF, and XLSX formats, including embedding generation and database operations. On-Premise & Government Cloud Deployment Deploy on-premise first — a Mac Mini running Gemma via Ollama — standing up, serving, and tuning local inference infrastructure. Evaluate and migrate to production on Azure OpenAI (Azure Government) or AWS Bedrock (GovCloud) when the client is ready to scale. Keep deployments compliant within ITAR-sensitive, restricted-network boundaries throughout. Architecture & Cost Advisory Produce cost models and architecture recommendations that help client IT teams make informed platform decisions based on measured data, not vendor pitches. Compare deployment options — local, Azure Government, and AWS GovCloud — on cost, performance, and compliance, and explain the trade-offs clearly. Practice Building & Delivery Serve as Data-Sleek's go-to engineer for AI deployments across defense and aerospace clients. Build a reusable capability — a repeatable AI-solutions practice — rather than executing a single one-off project. What You Bring Required U.S. Citizen: U.S. citizenship is required and non-negotiable due to ITAR and client security and compliance requirements. Production LLM deployment: You have stood up inference infrastructure — not just called an API. You've handled model loading, memory constraints, failure modes, and throughput tuning in a real deployment. Local inference: Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, LM Studio, or TGI. You've served open-source models (Gemma, Llama, Mistral) on local hardware. Cloud AI platforms: Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock — at least one. Service configuration, model access, authentication, and token-based pricing. Python: Pipeline engineering — document parsing (DOCX, PDF, XLSX), API integrations, embedding generation, and database operations (SQLite, Postgres). Experience: 5+ years post-degree in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering. Strong Preferences Microsoft ecosystem: Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, and SharePoint REST API at the API level. GCC High experience is a bonus. MCP (Model Context Protocol): Experience building or consuming MCP servers — a significant plus for a fast-evolving protocol. Workflow orchestration: n8n, Temporal, Airflow, or similar. The pipeline is orchestrated, not scripted. Government cloud awareness: Understanding of what FedRAMP High, IL4/IL5, and ITAR mean for cloud architecture decisions. Embeddings & vector similarity: sentence-transformers, pgvector, Qdrant, or FAISS for duplicate detection.
Bonus (valued if present) Aerospace or defense experience: Familiarity with ECOs, BOMs, and AS9100 saves ramp time. Apple Silicon optimization: MLX, Metal acceleration, and Ollama tuning on M-series chips. Agentic frameworks: Bedrock AgentCore or Azure AI Foundry — the future direction involves agentic AI workflows on government cloud. What This Role Is Not Model training or fine-tuning. This is deployment engineering, not research. Data science or statistical modeling. The AI here is document understanding and classification, not predictive analytics. Frontend development. The deliverable is an Excel catalog and a report, not a web app. Sales or client acquisition. Data-Sleek's leadership manages the client relationship; you focus on delivery. Engagement & Compensation Remote, US-based. Occasional on-site travel to client facilities for hardware deployment and workshops may be needed. An average of 2–3 trips for the first engagement may be possible. Compensation. $40-$55/hour Why Join Data-Sleek? At Data-Sleek, you'll lead AI deployments in environments most engineers never touch — government cloud and on-premise systems where commercial tools simply aren't an option. Your work will directly shape how defense and aerospace clients adopt AI, and you'll build a reusable capability the company grows around. We focus on doing the right thing architecturally rather than selling the most expensive option, and we give our engineers the autonomy to deliver real solutions for real constraints. How to Apply If you've shipped real LLM deployments with real constraints, we'd like to hear from you. Please submit: Your resume A brief note describing one LLM deployment you've shipped — what model, what infrastructure, what data source, and what went wrong. Data-Sleek® is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all contractors.

We're building an internal AI system that runs entirely on our own hardware (no cloud inference) against our own company data. We have a working proof-of-concept and want to get the architecture right. We need an experienced consultant to review what we've built, pressure-test our decisions, and tell us where we're wrong. This is an advisory/validation role first — we have someone doing the hands-on work; what we want is a senior second opinion to make sure we're building this the right way. What we're running today: Inference: RTX 5090 (32GB, Blackwell), Ubuntu 24.04, running llama-server (llama.cpp + CUDA) serving Gemma 4 31B-it (Q4_K_M GGUF) at a 262,144 context window. Also hosts our MCP retrieval server, PostgreSQL, and Qdrant. Embeddings: separate machine with an RTX 3060 running vLLM serving Qwen3-Embedding-4B. RAG: hybrid retrieval — Postgres full-text search + Qdrant semantic search with RRF fusion, exposed through a custom MCP server with tool-calling. Data: ingesting our own internal operational data into Postgres + Qdrant. Planned stack: LiteLLM for model routing, n8n for automation, Open WebUI for the interface, Langfuse for observability, Vault or Infisical for secrets, Keycloak/Azure AD for SSO. What we need help with: Validating our two-machine split (inference vs. embeddings) and whether our VRAM/context budget holds up under real load — specifically whether a 256K context window is real and performant on a single 32GB card or just nominal. Model selection and routing strategy: which open-weight models for which tasks, and how to structure LiteLLM routes. RAG quality: chunking, embedding dimensionality, hybrid search tuning, reranking — making retrieval actually accurate on messy real-world data. Sanity-checking our overall architecture and telling us our blind spots. You should have done: Stood up local LLM inference in production — llama.cpp/llama-server and vLLM, not just Ollama on a laptop. You understand GGUF quantization (Q4_K_M, IQ-series), KV cache, KV-cache quantization, and how context length maps to actual VRAM consumption. Real fluency in GPU sizing math — given a model, a quant, and a context window, you can tell us whether it fits on a given card and what throughput to expect. Bonus if you've worked with Blackwell / sm_120a. Built production RAG — vector DBs (Qdrant, pgvector), hybrid search, RRF fusion, embedding model selection, reranking, evaluation. Worked with agentic/tool-calling systems and ideally MCP servers. Know the open-weight model landscape (Gemma, Qwen, Llama, Mistral, Phi, Nemotron, Hermes) and their licenses well enough to advise. Production ops: systemd, Docker, model gateways (LiteLLM or similar), observability (Langfuse), secrets management, SSO.

About the Opportunity Atlas Medical Data Group (AMDG) is an AI-native healthcare data and technology company. We are replacing a fragmented stack of legacy accounting, billing, payroll, and practice-management tools with a self-hosted, open-source ERPNext platform we own and operate, built to scale across a multi-clinic ABA provider and a pipeline of future acquisitions. Before we commit further, we want an experienced, independent expert to tell us whether we are building the right system the right way. The Role We are looking for a senior ERP expert. Deep, hands-on ERP architecture and implementation, especially across multiple entities, is the core requirement, along with the integration judgment to see how an ERP connects to the systems around it in a provider business: revenue cycle and billing, clinical and practice management, and payroll. We are starting with the architectural and validation view: near term, we want someone to pressure-test our ERPNext strategy and architecture on the merits and push back where the plan diverges from how these systems need to work. Someone who can also build, and carry the work into implementation afterward, is a real plus, so a hands-on builder is welcome. A full healthcare enterprise architect would be ideal, but ERP depth with credible integration awareness is what matters most; adjacent expertise can be added later. What You Would Do • Evaluate whether self-hosted, open-source ERPNext is the right call for this organization and rollup, or whether the tradeoffs favor a different approach • Pressure-test the architecture: the multi-entity / MSO entity model and chart-of-accounts design, how revenue-cycle and payroll data flow into the financial core, the data-custody and agentic-API thesis, and build economics versus managed alternatives • Assess how the ERP integrates with adjacent systems and where the data-flow design creates leverage or risk • Advise on implementation best practices and migration sequencing so each entity onboards more easily, including the path to HIPAA-grade controls in later phases • Serve as an independent thought partner to the CEO, validating what is right and challenging what is not What We Are Looking For • Deep, hands-on ERP architecture and implementation, including multi-entity deployments, chart-of-accounts and intercompany design, and consolidation. This is the primary filter. • Integration judgment across revenue cycle / billing, clinical / practice management, and payroll: how data should flow to and from the ERP, and where it breaks • Enough technical depth to evaluate self-hosted, open-source ERP architecture seriously, not just strategically • Current awareness of agentic AI in operations, enough to judge the agent-native thesis on its merits • The judgment and seniority to give an honest, independent assessment: validating a strategy and pushing back on it when there is strong conviction behind it • A plus, not required: direct ERPNext or Odoo experience; healthcare provider or other complex, regulated, multi-entity background; familiarity with MSO and intercompany structures Engagement Independent and advisory-first: a paid validation engagement is the entry point, and it can grow into a fractional or ongoing role as the relationship develops. Compensation commensurate with experience. AMDG is an equal opportunity employer.

Overview SolisRx is a healthcare analytics consultancy embedded inside the operational core of mid-market infusion providers and specialty pharmacies. We sell monthly engagement retainers and deliver fractional teams across data engineering, decision analytics, and revenue cycle intelligence. Our clients run tens to hundreds of millions in annual revenue. Our recommendations move it. We are hiring a Principal Healthcare Analytics & AI Consultant to own client engagements end to end, from stakeholder discovery through delivery, expansion, and long-term account health. This is the senior IC seat in our delivery org. You will operate as the most senior voice in the room with clients, with direct access to the founder and direct authority to direct engineering resources. The bar for this role is high. The compensation reflects it. The trajectory is uncapped. What You Will Own Stakeholder discovery. Run scoped interviews with C-suite leaders at infusion centers and specialty pharmacies (COOs, CFOs, Heads of Operations, and occasionally medical directors). Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems. Produce decision-ready specs without supervision. End-to-end delivery. Architect and build dashboards, semantic models, and pipelines yourself across Power BI, SQL, and the Microsoft Fabric stack. You write the DAX, model the fact-and-dimension tables, validate against source. You do not hand off and supervise. Engineering leverage. Direct offshore engineering resources to scale your output. Write the spec. Run the QA. Own the outcome, and the bug. Executive presentation. Present findings to client executives without a Principal in the room filtering your work. Numeric, specific, recommendation-led. Account expansion. Identify scope-expansion opportunities within your account: new analytics workstreams, additional service lines, deeper RCM integration. Surface them to the founder with a clear business case. Help close them. Delivery system design. Beyond your own account, contribute to SolisRx's delivery operating model, sprint structure, QA standards, ticketing discipline, documentation conventions. We are still building the firm; senior ICs help shape it. This is a hybrid consulting and technical delivery role inside a healthcare-specific operating context. The work is roughly 70–80% data and BI craft: dashboards, modeling, pipelines, advanced intelligence & executive translation, and 20–30% healthcare domain fluency around revenue cycle, claims, prior auth, and infusion-specific operational realities. You will be the senior voice in the room for your account from week one. What We Are Looking For We screen on three dimensions: track record, technical fluency, and operating temperament. All three are required. Track record 8 to 13 years of progressive experience in BI, analytics, or data consulting Consulting background at a pharma or RCM analytics firm: ZS, Axtria, Beghou, IQVIA, MathCo, Trinity, Huron, Chartis, L.E.K. Healthcare, or Big 4, boutique, or independent. Senior IC role at a healthcare data startup or product company also a strong fit Current or recent title at the level of Decision Analytics Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director, Principal, Staff, Architect, or Lead. If you are on the cusp of a pure people-management promotion and want a different path, we want to talk Demonstrable record of shipping engagements that drove client P&L outcomes, not just deliverables that "went well" internally Real client-facing experience: discovery with COOs and CFOs, executive presentations with no Principal filter in the room, managing stakeholders who disagree with each other Technical fluency Deep hands-on skill in Power BI or Tableau at a level where you have built things people thought were impossible. You know DAX or LOD expressions cold Strong SQL: CTEs, window functions, performance tuning, comfort debugging codebases you didn't write Experience shipping production ML use cases: classification, regression, or unsupervised, that drove clear business value. Not Kaggle notebooks. Real models that informed real decisions Comfort with the modern data stack, exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, or equivalents. Conceptual fluency in medallion architecture and lakehouse design Active, hands-on use of AI tools in your workflow. Claude, Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT. You have shipped work using agentic frameworks, function calling, tool use, or RAG done properly, or you are itching to. Bias toward "Claude-pilled" curiosity. Operating temperament Recommendation-led, not options-led. You do not surface choices without a point of view First-principles problem structurer. Comfortable in ambiguity, undeterred by missing information, capable of converging on a defensible answer Comfort directing engineers and unblocking them, not just handing off specs Strong written and verbal communication. You write with precision, speak with confidence, and do neither at unnecessary length High-velocity executor. You self-impose deadlines and hold them. You flag slippage before it happens, not after Strong pluses Healthcare, specialty pharmacy, infusion, or RCM domain experience. If you have done commercial analytics, patient services, claims, prior auth, or benefits investigation work, we want to talk. Not required if you have led complex analytics engagements in other regulated industries Familiarity with 837/835, HL7, FHIR, X12, NCPDP etc. Previous Forward Deployed Engineer or embedded consultant experience inside a product company Prior tenure inside a high-bar environment: top consulting (MBB, ZS, IQVIA), top tech (FAANG analytics, frontier AI labs), or a venture-backed analytics startup What This Is Not This is not a back-office developer role. It is not a dashboard factory role This is not a pure people-management track. We are hiring a senior IC, not a manager-of-managers. If you are looking to step out of building, this is the wrong seat This is not a 9-to-5, but also not ibanking. We run on US Eastern hours and Client deadlines and urgency are real. The work will fluctuate but expect an average of 45-55 hrs/week. This is not a role with a 6-month ramp. You should be productive on a live account within your first two weeks This is not a domain-agnostic analytics role. You will be steeped in healthcare data, claims, eligibility, referrals, prior auth, billing, within your first 60 days. Candidates who cannot get excited about healthcare operational data should self-select out Trajectory Year 1: Embedded on a single high-priority account. Own a vertical slice of delivery. Founder shadows closely. Year 2: Lead a forward-deployed team end-to-end, own the engagement outcome. Present to client executives without filter. Profit-share begins. Year 3+: Senior leadership track. Profit-share moves from initial participation to a meaningful, growing stake tied directly to firm performance. Compensation This is structured for senior ICs who want upside, not predictability. Base: $115K–$140K, calibrated to demonstrated caliber. Performance-based variable: 20-30% of base for top performers, tied to client outcomes, delivery quality, and business performance. Total compensation range: $140K–$185K annually. Profit share: : Participation begins in Year 2 and grows into a meaningful stake as you move onto the senior leadership track. This is the principal-track-equivalent path inside a small, fast-growing firm. For US candidates: Healthcare and reasonable PTO, and full AI tooling budget. Fully remote with occasional client travel (roughly 4 to 8 US trips per year). If you're optimizing for guaranteed cash, the bigger firms will pay you more. If you're optimizing for trajectory and uncapped upside on a small, fast team, this is the structure. We offer visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates Process A real process designed to test for the work, not for interview trivia. **SEO & AEO Strategist** **The role** As Lead SEO & AEO Strategist, you bring a strong SEO background with a deep understanding of AEO and you're the person who raises the analytical bar for the whole team. You are the analytical expert of the team and the voice everyone lean on to make sense of how they show up in AI prompts. You deeply understand our data, reading what's moving and why, and create an actionable plan of recommendations we can act on. You also set the standard for how the rest of the team reads the data and advises clients: mentoring analysts, building the playbooks others run on, and turning your judgment into something we can scale. This is a hands-on, data-first, client-facing role with a clear enablement mandate: you supply the analytical judgment, you deliver it as strategy, and you teach others to do the same. What you'll do Get our brand and clients up and running. Onboarding and get us and clients to value fast, so their accounts are working hard for them from week one. Read the data, find the signal. Analyze how client brands surface across AI answer engines. Identify citation gaps, ranking shifts, and the content patterns that move Share-of-Prompt and our other visibility metrics. Lead working sessions where you take a client's growth and brand goals and map them to a concrete AEO plan, then push on the parts that will move the needle most. Deliver insights and recommendations. Produce the briefs, performance reviews, and optimization plans clients rely on. Translate complex visibility data into clear narratives for both technical and executive audiences. Set the standard and level up the team. Mentor and train others on how to read the data, run a client session, and turn a messy dataset into a recommendation that lands. Define the analytical methods and quality bar others work to, and bring newer team members up to speed on AEO fast. Build the playbooks. Turn your judgment into reusable assets, including analytical frameworks, content playbooks, session templates, and ways of measuring what's working, so the pod's best thinking scales beyond any one person. Support Fix Pack work. Help diagnose what needs fixing and validate that deployed Fix Packs are moving the metrics they should. Flag the exceptions and opportunities that need the team's attention. Work shoulder to shoulder with the pod. Give the Partners and the wider pod the analytical inputs they need: the right numbers, the right context, the right recommended next move. Track the category. Stay current on AEO / SEO developments and how AI answer engines are evolving, so our recommendations stay ahead of a landscape that is constantly shifting. What you need to know (SEO / AEO) This is the foundation of the role. You should already think in terms of how brands earn visibility in AI answers, not just traditional search rankings, and be able to explain that thinking to others. SEO foundations. Solid, hands-on fundamentals: keyword and content strategy, structured data, site architecture, and organic performance analysis, with growing expertise in AI search. Metrics literacy. Comfort reasoning about visibility and performance metrics: reading a shift and understanding what it implies. Category awareness. Familiarity with the AI-visibility tooling landscape, or genuine eagerness to get up to speed fast. What you bring Advisory instinct. You're at ease guiding clients, walking them through a recommendation, and making a technical idea land for a marketing or brand team in plain language. A teaching mindset. You like making other people better at their craft. You can break down how you reached a conclusion, give useful feedback, and turn your own instincts into repeatable methods. Data fluency. Comfortable working with data to find signals. You don't just report numbers, you interpret them. Prompt literacy. Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM behavior, enough to work effectively inside agent workflows and reason about their outputs. Storytelling. Strong written and verbal communication. You can turn a messy dataset into a clear recommendation for a stakeholder who has thirty seconds. Organized under load. Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines without dropping quality. Detail obsessed. Every lift, every point of impact piques your curiosity. Resourceful and proactive. A self-starter who finds creative solutions, adapts quickly, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and learning new tools. Who you likely are * 4+ years of hands-on SEO or organic-growth work behind you. Agency pedigree is a plus or a comparable data-heavy, client-facing role at a SaaS or AI company. * Someone with an SEO or digital-marketing background who is leaning hard into AI search, or a sharp analyst who's genuinely excited about the AEO category. * Confident on a client call, in a working session, or in a written recommendation, and used to high-touch accounts. * Someone others naturally come to for answers. You've informally or formally mentored, trained, or set the bar for teammates before. * A craftsperson who takes pride in the details while keeping the big picture in mind. * Looking for a role with a clear growth path toward deeper technical and team leadership.
Bonus points * You've built reusable things for clients or teams before: playbooks, content frameworks, onboarding material, or ways to measure what's working. * You've worked with enterprise or other high-touch accounts. * You've operated inside a fast-moving, startup.
