About the Project We are a confidential wellness platform developing a premium video course designed to help people quit smoking and vaping (permanently) without willpower, patches, or medication. The method is rooted in cognitive reframing and behavioral psychology, and the course will be filmed with a professional spokesperson reading from a teleprompter. We have a complete, professionally written script approximately 25,000 words across five modules that has already been reviewed by a licensed therapist and behavioral health consultant. The core content is strong. What we need now is a skilled editor who can sharpen the language for on-camera delivery, improve relatability for a Gen Z and Millennial audience, and enhance the visual storytelling concepts embedded throughout. This project requires signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before any materials are shared. The platform name and full concept will not be disclosed until the NDA is executed. What You Will Be Doing You will receive the full script and be asked to: 1. Edit for teleprompter and on-camera delivery. The script will be read aloud by a spokesperson on camera. Language needs to flow naturally when spoken, not just when read. Sentences that are too long, too complex, or that create awkward pauses on camera need to be restructured. You should have a strong instinct for the difference between writing that reads well and writing that sounds well. 2. Rephrase and tighten language so it resonates naturally with a 16–35 year old audience without losing the authority and clinical grounding of the original. The tone should feel like a trusted, intelligent peer — not a health campaign, not a lecture, not a brand voice. 3. Improve or replace visual concept examples throughout the script. The script contains detailed suggestions for on-screen graphics, metaphors, and visual demonstrations. Your job is to evaluate each one and suggest alternatives that are more culturally current, more vivid, or more likely to land with a younger viewer who grew up on TikTok, YouTube, and short-form content. 4. Flag any language that feels dated, clinical, or out of touch with how young people actually talk about addiction, vaping, mental health, and identity. Suggest replacements. 5. Preserve the psychological architecture. The script follows a specific reframing methodology. You are not rewriting the method — you are improving the delivery. The logic, sequence, and therapeutic intent must remain intact. Ideal Candidate Profile You are a strong fit for this project if you: • Write and edit exceptionally well, with a clear instinct for how language sounds when spoken aloud • Have experience writing or editing scripts for teleprompter, on-camera talent, or video production • Understand how Gen Z and younger Millennials talk about mental health, habits, identity, and self-improvement • Have experience writing for or about addiction, behavioral change, wellness, or lifestyle topics • Are familiar with short-form content culture (TikTok, Reels, YouTube) and understand what makes concepts land visually for this demographic • Can work with nuance, this is not surface-level copywriting; the script has psychological depth and the edits must honor that Bonus if you have: • Experience writing for documentary, educational video, or long-form branded content • A background in psychology, behavioral health, or addiction counseling • Familiarity with the Allen Carr Easyway method or similar behavioral change frameworks • Experience writing for health and wellness brands targeting young adults Looking to get started right away. Let me know if you feel this is a good fit and why. Thank you.

Seeking an experienced romance ghostwriter for a sweeping, plot-heavy trilogy set in the late 1800s in the American west. Especially keen on hearing from those who love reading historical fiction. Writer must be comfortable with open door spice. Must be able to convey period-appropriate attitudes about sex, marriage, and courtship as well as women's subjugation and the plight of women in this era. Especially looking for writers with beautiful, sensual, and rich prose, and natural sounding, immersive dialogue (I struggle with dialogue, especially!). Prose samples can be given as to the "voice" preferred. This work is hybrid--I have written a significant amount of the manuscript already. Your job will be to look over what has already been written and rework it, according to character guidelines (paid). Then, you'll continue it and stick the landing, given the plot outline made available to you (also paid, of course). Looking forward to hearing from you!

The Michelle Chalfant Co. runs The Adult Chair® Coaching Certification Program, a globally recognized training program that teaches professionals how to live and coach from a place of wholeness. We have an existing, comprehensive training manual that contains all of our core frameworks (e.g., The 5 Pillars, The Blueprint, The Adult Chair® Model, Parts Work, Energy Work, and Experiential Coaching Interventions). While the content is incredible, the current draft "reads like a book." It is written in a conversational, prose-heavy, first-person narrative tone. We need an experienced Instructional Designer or Technical Writer to completely restructure and rewrite this material into a highly functional, crisp, and easily scannable Reference Manual / Playbook that Adult Chair® Certified coaches can confidently consult before, during, and after their client sessions. Scope of Work: Structural Reorganization: Audit the existing manual and suggest restructuring and layout . Tone & Voice Shifting: Translate conversational, storytelling prose into concise, clear, and professional instruction-oriented language. Remove narrative filler while fully preserving the underlying methodology. Standardize Intervention Layouts: Build a uniform, repeatable template for all experiential coaching techniques (such as Guided Meditations, Parts Work, Identity Building, and Tapping). Each tool must clearly isolate: Objective, Indications (When to use), Step-by-Step Execution, Verbatim Client Scripts, and Troubleshooting Steps. Enhance Scannability & Visual Hierarchy: Apply instructional formatting principles. Convert block paragraphs into organized tables, checklists, bulleted frameworks, and distinct callout/shaded boxes for scripts, ethical boundaries, and emergency protocols. Separate Personal Workbook Text: Identify text meant for the student-coach's own inner healing journey and isolate it from professional client-facing operational frameworks. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, Technical Writer, or Manual Developer (please provide portfolio examples of training manuals, playbooks, or reference guides you have built) Exceptional ability to distill complex, abstract, or spiritual/psychological concepts into practical, sequential steps. Experience in the coaching, mental health, wellness, or psychology space is highly preferred. Mastery of professional document design and formatting (MS Word, Google Docs, or Adobe InDesign). Impeccable structural editing skills and eye for visual layout consistency. Deliverables: A finalized, fully restructured, and polished Coach Reference Manual (Format: Word or Google Doc). A clean, reusable layout/style template based on the new manual design so we can add future interventions seamlessly. To Apply: Please send a brief cover letter detailing your experience with instructional design or technical rewriting. Crucial: Please attach a sample of a manual or reference playbook you have previously restructured from a rough or narrative state. Before and after examples highly encouraged.
