We're looking for a US-based editor to build WeRoad's editorial engine for the North American market... not to write more articles, but to make ours the ones worth reading. WeRoad takes solo travelers on small group trips abroad, led by trained Group Leaders. Our content advantage isn't volume; it's that we have hundreds of people who have actually been on the trip. Your job is to turn that into published work. What you'll own - The US content system end to end: SEO articles, destination guides, landing pages, CRM/email. - Sourcing and shaping first-person content from Group Leaders and travelers — interviewing, ghost-editing, and getting real voices onto the page under their own names. - Conversion surfaces: departure pages, landing pages, and lifecycle email that move people from browsing to booked. - An AI-assisted production pipeline. You'll use these tools daily; we care that you use them to raise the ceiling, not lower the floor. - Guest and creator contributions where they add credibility rather than word count. What we're looking for - Exceptional writer and editor in US English, with the range to move from a 2,000-word essay to a 40-character subject line without changing person. - Strong audience instinct. Our reader is a working adult in their late twenties to early forties with - money and limited vacation days — aspirational and social, not budget backpacker. - Working command of SEO and performance messaging: search intent, information architecture, how a page earns a click and then earns a booking. - Comfortable editing other people's voices without flattening them. - Travel, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred.
