I already have the backend up and running, as well as an AI generated front end. I want to take my frontend design to the next level, which I just can't seem to get AI to do. I am absolutely horrible and also have 0 interest in designing things. What I need from you: - Take my rough draft generated by AI and turn it into something way better, including all functionality that AI has already introduced, just looking way, way better. - Backend is already done. You're just responsible for making the design look good. - If you have backend experience, this could become very lucrative for you. While I am a hobby developer, I am not an expert. At some point, I will need/want someone to go over everything I've done, to make sure it is acceptable/secure. The site is overall rather simple as far as design goes. That's actually one of my selling points. The workflow is as follows: Visit mainpage... - From mainpage you have following options: --- Upload file as guest/registered, public or private --- About & ToS page --- Control Panel page --- Logout Not sure what else to include. If you need further information, feel free to reach out! That's about it! Look forward to hearing from you.

Title: Fractional Backend Engineer Needed to Own 3rd-Party API Integrations Overview We’re looking for a strong fractional engineer to help own and scale our API integrations with third-party platforms. This role is ideal for a backend-leaning engineer who is comfortable working independently, reading API documentation, designing durable integration patterns, and moving quickly from requirements to production-ready implementation. The workflow will be dependent on new customer onboarding, and is unlikely to be consistent however opportunity is long-term. You’ll be responsible for helping us connect our product to external platforms, manage authentication flows, handle data ingestion and synchronization, and ensure integrations are reliable, well-documented, and maintainable. What You’ll Do Own API integrations with third-party platforms from discovery through implementation Review external API documentation and recommend the best integration approach Build, test, and maintain backend services that connect to external systems Implement authentication flows, including OAuth, API keys, webhooks, and token refresh logic Design data mapping, ingestion, sync, and error-handling workflows Build reliable retry, logging, and monitoring patterns for integrations Debug API issues, edge cases, rate limits, and data inconsistencies Document integration architecture, assumptions, setup steps, and known limitations Work directly with the founder/product lead to prioritize integrations and tradeoffs Ideal Background Strong backend engineering experience Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations Comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, JSON, rate limits, and async jobs Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar backend stacks Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern backend architecture Ability to work independently and communicate clearly Strong attention to detail, especially around data accuracy and reliability Startup experience preferred Nice to Have Experience integrating with sports, ticketing, calendar, CRM, marketing, media, or commerce platforms Experience with calendar APIs, event data, or scheduling systems Experience with AI-assisted development workflows Experience setting up monitoring, logging, and integration health dashboards Engagement Structure This is a fractional role, likely starting at 10–20 hours per week, with the opportunity for ongoing work if the fit is strong. We’re looking for someone who can own outcomes, not just complete assigned tickets. To Apply Please include: A brief summary of your backend/API integration experience Examples of third-party APIs you’ve integrated with Your preferred backend stack Your availability and hourly rate A short explanation of how you approach debugging unreliable or poorly documented APIs We’re especially interested in engineers who can move fast while still building clean, reliable systems.

We're hiring 2 experienced developers to build AIOS deployments for our growing client base. FluentOS is a 9-person team that builds AIOS (AI operating systems) that connect a business's existing platforms together and run AI agents on top of them. We're onboarding 6–7 new client projects every week and need two more builders who can take a project and deliver it. The industries we work in: We deploy across a wide range of professional and service businesses, so you'll get variety: - Financial services & wealth advisory - Tax & accounting firms - Dental and medical practices - Home services & roofing - Property management Each client runs on a different stack — CRMs, comms tools, scheduling, payment systems, document and data sources — and our job is to unify those into one system and build agents that operate across them (lead response, follow-up, reporting, document workflows, estimating, intake, and more). What you'd be building: - AIOS deployments end to end — integrating client platforms via their APIs - AI agents that read/write across those connected systems - Reliable, production-grade automations that real businesses depend on daily What we're looking for: - Proven delivery experience — you've shipped projects clients actually use, not just personal experiments - Strong coding background (Python and/or TypeScript); comfortable with API integrations and agent frameworks - Experience with LLM/agent development (Anthropic/Claude, tool use, multi-step agents) is a big plus - Fast, organized, and communicative — we move quickly and build as a team, not in isolation - Able to work closely with Ray, our lead developer, who'll get you ramped into live projects The setup: - 1099 contract, paid per project — not salaried - Steady, scalable volume (6–7 new projects/week) means consistent work for builders who deliver - Strong potential for ongoing, long-term collaboration as we scale To apply: Tell us briefly about a real project you've built and delivered — ideally something involving API integrations, automation, or AI agents. Include links to work or repos if you have them. Please start your reply with the word "FLUENT" so we know you read this. We'll be scheduling interviews shortly.

# Overview We're a healthcare analytics company with an internal web portal (built in **Next.js 16 / React 19 / TypeScript / Tailwind CSS v4**) that embeds Power BI reports for our partners. The app works, but it was built quickly and needs to be brought up to a **production-quality standard**. It's a small, focused codebase (~2,400 lines), so this is a high-impact, well-scoped engagement — not a sprawling legacy rescue. We're looking for a senior frontend engineer to either **refactor the existingcode or rebuild it from a clean foundation** (your call — we want your recommendation), and to leave us with a maintainable, tested, polished application. # What you'll be working on A single Next.js App Router application that: - Renders a landing/navigation experience and a set of dashboard pages. - Embeds Power BI reports via `powerbi-client-react` ("App Owns Data"). - Reads a small amount of data from Postgres for user settings. **Authentication is fully handled upstream (SSO) and is OUT OF SCOPE.** You will never need credentials, secrets, or access to our production environment. (See "How we work" below.) # Scope of work 1. **Code quality & structure** — Establish a clean, consistent architecture: sensible component structure, strict TypeScript, and tooling (ESLint + Prettier). The repo currently has no linting or formatting setup. 2. **Testing & CI** — Add a testing setup (unit + a few integration/e2e tests for critical paths) and GitHub Actions CI gates (lint, typecheck, test on PR). There are currently **no tests** — establishing this foundation is a core deliverable. 3. **UI / UX polish** — Implement to our provided design direction: responsive layout, proper loading/error/empty states, and a polished feel around the (heavy) Power BI embeds. **We will provide the design/branding** — you implement it well, you don't need to invent the visual identity. 4. **Recommendation up front** — In an early milestone, give us a short written assessment: refactor vs. rebuild, and your proposed approach. **Out of scope:** authentication/SSO, SEO (the app is private and login-gated), backend/Power BI infrastructure, and anything touching production data. # Required skills - Deep, demonstrable experience with **Next.js (App Router)**, **React 19**, and **TypeScript** (strict mode). - **Tailwind CSS** proficiency and a strong eye for implementing designs faithfully. - Experience setting up **testing (e.g. Vitest/Jest + Playwright)** and **CI pipelines (GitHub Actions)** for frontend apps. - A track record of taking quick-build apps to **maintainable, production-grade** quality. ### Nice to have - Prior **Power BI embedding** experience (`powerbi-client-react`, "App Owns Data") - Accessibility (WCAG AA) and frontend performance optimization experience. # How we work (please read) - We operate in a regulated healthcare environment. You will work against a **sanitized copy of the repository** — no real report IDs, secrets, customer data, or production access. All data is mock/synthetic. - **Hourly engagement** via Upwork's tracker, with a cap. We estimate **~40–100 hours**; we'll set a weekly cap and review progress in milestones. - We value clear communication, small reviewable PRs, and your honest technical judgment over just "doing what's asked."
