I'm a marketing consultant managing a Shopify website build for a B2B client. The client is a specialty equipment distributor with an established customer base, existing Zoho CRM and Zoho Books infrastructure, and a mix of public and house-account customers. I have attached a full technical brief and draft sitemap. Please read before applying. WHAT WE'RE BUILDING • Shopify storefront on a premium theme (design provided, no design work needed from you) • E-commerce catalog for consumables and parts: 100-200 SKUs at launch, up to 1,000 at scale • Zoho CRM and Zoho Books integration: product sync, order sync, and pricing sync • Multi-tier B2B pricing: 5-6 price tiers for house accounts, MAP pricing for public visitors • Customer login portal with tier-based pricing at checkout • PO number checkout option for logged-in account holders • Drop-ship and warehouse fulfillment routing • Territory-based sales rep locator (state-level lookup minimum) THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION Before anything else, I need your honest assessment: can multi-tier B2B pricing with Zoho sync work on Shopify standard, or does this require Shopify Plus? This single answer shapes the entire project budget. I need a clear, experienced opinion, not a maybe. WHO I'M LOOKING FOR • Demonstrated Shopify B2B e-commerce experience (show me examples) • Hands-on Zoho CRM or Zoho Books integration experience, specifically with Shopify • Familiarity with B2B pricing structures and customer account portals • Strong communicator who flags problems early • Available to start within 6-10 weeks (design runs in parallel) WHAT THIS IS NOT • Not a design project. Approved designs will be handed to you. • Not a content project. Copy and product data will be provided. • Not a Zoho cleanup project. Client's Zoho data will be clean and structured before build starts. BUDGET AND ENGAGEMENT TYPE Hourly engagement. Estimated 80-160 hours depending on integration complexity. The Zoho integration scope is not fully certifiable until a developer has assessed it. Budget range: $6,000-$15,000+ USD total estimated. Rate and hours breakdown welcome in your proposal. HOW TO APPLY Read the attached brief in full before submitting a proposal. In your proposal, include: • Your answer to the Shopify standard vs. Plus question • Your preferred approach for the Zoho integration • A relevant example of a Shopify B2B project you've built with CRM integration • Your hourly rate and rough hour estimate for this scope Proposals that do not address these four points will not be reviewed.

We are looking for someone who can do more than basic website edits. We need a developer who understands e-commerce, apparel brands, conversion optimization, Shopify apps, integrations, and the technology stack needed to help a clothing brand scale. The first priority will be to audit our existing Shopify website and identify opportunities to improve performance, user experience, conversions, product pages, mobile design, checkout flow, app setup, and overall site structure. From there, we are looking for someone who can become a longer-term technical partner and help guide us on the best apps, integrations, automations, and tools for our business. This is intended to be a long-term role, not just a one-time project. Responsibilities You will help with: Auditing our current Shopify website and providing clear recommendations Improving website design, functionality, and user experience Optimizing the site for apparel e-commerce, including product pages, collections, navigation, sizing, bundles, and upsells Recommending the right Shopify apps and integrations based on our goals Improving mobile performance and page speed Supporting conversion rate optimization Helping us build a better tech stack for email/SMS, reviews, loyalty, returns, analytics, upsells, and customer experience Troubleshooting Shopify issues as they come up Implementing new features and improvements over time Advising us on best practices as our brand grows Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: Strong experience with Shopify and Shopify theme customization Experience working with apparel, fashion, streetwear, lifestyle, or consumer e-commerce brands A strong understanding of conversion-focused design Knowledge of Shopify apps and third-party integrations Ability to explain technical recommendations clearly Experience improving product pages, collection pages, navigation, and checkout experience Familiarity with analytics, tracking, and performance optimization Good communication and a proactive mindset The ability to think strategically, not just complete assigned tasks Nice to Have Experience with any of the following is a plus: Shopify 2.0 themes Custom sections and theme development Klaviyo, SMS, reviews, loyalty, returns, upsells, size guides, or similar e-commerce tools CRO audits Page speed optimization Apparel-specific merchandising and product page strategy Landing pages for product drops or campaigns First Project For the first project, we would like a full audit of our current Shopify website. This should include: Website design and user experience feedback Mobile experience review Product page and collection page recommendations App and integration recommendations Site speed and performance review Conversion improvement opportunities A prioritized list of what should be fixed or improved first After the audit, we would like to continue working together on implementation and ongoing improvements. What We’re Looking For We want someone who can become a trusted technical partner for Divinity. You should be comfortable giving recommendations, explaining why certain apps or tools are worth using, and helping us make smart decisions for the long-term growth of the brand. We’re looking for an experienced Shopify developer/designer to help finish, polish, and launch our website for Captain Heaney’s Adventure Club, a screen-free adventure brand for kids and families. The site is already partially built in Shopify using the Motion theme, and much of the content, branding, page structure, colors, fonts, and creative direction are already in place. However, we need a professional to take it from an armature/overly wordy feel to a polished, cohesive, launch-ready website. We need someone who can improve the existing Shopify site, make it feel more custom and on-brand, clean up the UX, set up the customer account/access flow, and help us launch confidently. About the Brand Captain Heaney’s Adventure Club sells downloadable, story-driven adventure kits & materials for kids and families. The brand is whimsical, adventurous, cinematic, and kid-friendly, while still needing to clearly communicate the value to parents – quality time with their kids and building lifelong skills like confidence, teamwork and problem solving. Right now the site is feeling like a standard Shopify theme and we need it to feel more like a custom adventure experience. Current Platform The site is built on: ShopifyMotion theme Current apps/tools include: Locksmith, Bundles, SkyPilot, and Heyzine. We are open to recommendations if there is a better app setup or structure! Main Goals We need help with: 1. Design and Layout Polish Many pages are already built with the general content and flow, but they need professional design polish. The site currently feels too much like a simple Shopify theme and is too wordy. We want it to feel more unique, cohesive, and aligned with the brand. We want the information to be presented in a more visual manner, not always simple text with header/body font styles. 2. Shopify Setup and Customization We need help customizing the Motion theme, including Liquid/CSS where needed, to improve the look, UX, and brand feel. 3. Customer-Gated Content / Digital Product Access This is a key part of the project. Customers will purchase individual adventures and then need to log in to access the digital materials tied to their purchase. We need a smooth, reliable account/access flow. 4. Digital Product Delivery We need help setting up or refining the best system for delivering adventure documents, resources, and embedded flipbooks/bookshelves. 5. Mobile Optimization and Testing The site must work well on desktop and mobile, with clean UX, responsive layouts, working checkout, customer accounts, and gated content access. Pages That Are Mostly Built But Need Polish Public-facing pages: • Home Page • Adventures • Lost Eggs of the Salagator • We Need You! • Captain Heaney’s Adventure Club • How It Works • Join the Club • Mission • FAQs Most of the copy is written, but some pages feel too wordy or not visually communicated well. We need help making these pages more engaging, clear, easy to navigate, and visually polished. Pages / Areas That Need to Be Created or Heavily Improved Public-facing: • Black Bart’s Hidden Treasure — no content yet, but we want a basic structure/template • Lost Stones of Courage — no content yet, but we want a basic structure/template • Shop Adventures — should link from homepage CTA and take users to the online shop without requiring an account Logged-in customer area: • Member Dashboard / “Explorer HQ” • Adventure Library • Base Content section for all adventure purchasers • Individual adventure content pages • Lost Eggs of the Salagator digital content area The logged-in area is one of the most important pieces. We need it to look more custom, less basic, and function properly based on customer access. Gated Content Flow Needed At launch, we are only selling individual adventures, not memberships. Customers should be able to: 1. Purchase an adventure. 2. Create or access their customer account. 3. Log in. 4. See a dashboard / Explorer HQ. 5. Access base content available to all adventure purchasers. 6. Access only the specific adventure content they purchased. We currently have Locksmith installed but only partially configured. We are also considering SkyPilot, Heyzine, and other tools for digital product delivery and embedded documents. Visual / Brand Needs We have: • Logo finalized • Brand colors finalized • Fonts mostly finalized • Strong placeholder imagery • Written content mostly drafted We need help making the visual experience more consistent and cohesive. Current imagery uses AI placeholders, but the style is not fully consistent. We would love someone who either has a strong design eye or can recommend a graphic designer/illustrator to help make the site feel polished and on-brand. The ideal person should be both technically capable and visually/design-oriented. Important Deliverables We need the developer/designer to: • Work from a duplicated Shopify theme/staging version before publishing changes • Polish and improve the existing page layouts • Make the site feel more custom and less like a basic Shopify theme • Improve mobile responsiveness • Improve UX and navigation • Set up customer login/access flow • Configure digital product delivery • Configure gated content by purchase • Help integrate or recommend the best apps • Test checkout • Test customer account creation/login • Test access to purchased adventure content • Test mobile layouts • Provide basic documentation or Loom walkthroughs so we can manage the site after launch • Train us on how to add future adventures and update content Launch Timeline We are aiming for a soft launch near the end of June. We do not have a hard public launch date, but we would like to move efficiently and get the site completed as soon as reasonably possible. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has experience with: • Shopify • Shopify theme customization • Liquid/CSS • Strong UX/UI design • Digital products • Customer account flows • Gated content or access-based content • Shopify apps such as Locksmith, SkyPilot, Recharge, or similar tools • Mobile optimization • Clean documentation/training Bonus if you have experience with family brands, children’s brands, education brands, adventure brands, digital downloads, online courses, or membership-style access. What We’re Looking For in Your Proposal Please include: 1. Examples of Shopify sites you’ve built or customized. 2. Any experience with gated content, customer dashboards, digital products, or purchase-based access. 3. Your recommendation for whether we should use Locksmith, SkyPilot, Heyzine, Recharge, or another setup. 4. Your preferred process for auditing the current site and creating an implementation plan. 5. Your estimated timeline. 6. Whether you prefer hourly or fixed-price. 7. Your availability for calls during U.S. time zones. We are open to hourly or fixed-price, but would like to begin with a paid site audit and action plan before moving into the full buildout.
