The Superpowers (Client & Communication): - Professional Presence: You carry yourself with a demeanor that builds immediate trust. You are concise, articulate, and mindful of the client’s time. - Concise Communicator: You avoid the Solution Architect Trap of over-explaining. You know how to give a "Yes/No" or a "Bottom Line Up Front" (BLUF). - Leadership: You can guide, educate, and—when necessary—firmly pivot a client toward a better strategic path. Qualifications: Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of experience in systems consulting, operations, business automation, or a similar role. - 2+ years of AI expertise in a business context - Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (JSON, Zapier, Make, Airtable, etc.) and system integrations. - Working knowledge of project management and CRM platforms (e.g., Monday.com, HubSpot, Salesforce). - Familiarity with API usage, data flows, and basic scripting or logic-based automation. - Excellent problem-solving and process-mapping skills. - Clear written and verbal communication, especially with non-technical stakeholders. - Strong client-facing presence with the ability to guide, educate, and influence clients. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a fast-paced startup or agency environment. - Exposure to AI tools and understanding of their application in business settings. - Technical certifications in automation platforms (Zapier Expert, Make Partner, etc.). - Understanding of business functions like marketing, sales, operations, and finance. DO NOT SEND AN AI GENERATED PROPOSAL. READ THROUGH THIS POST AND GIVE US YOUR HUMAN RESPONSE. Location: Remote Team size: Small (you’ll know everyone’s name) Stack: Java 21 / Guice / Gradle backend + React 19 / TanStack / MUI frontend **To apply** 1. Give us a few sentences for why you're a fit for the description below. 2. Include a Github/Gitlab/Gitea link to a recent PR you’re proud of (any language) 3. 5–10 minute Loom of you using Claude Code on a real task. **About the role** QAction is a large-scale Java enterprise document, records, and workflow platform — multi-project Gradle build, ~15 modules, customer-specific deployments (USDA, Ditco, Ascension, Mayo). The backend is being modernized behind an OpenAPI v2 surface (oasv2); the frontend is being rebuilt off GWT onto React 19 + TanStack Router/Query/Start with MUI v7. We need a developer who’s equally comfortable extending a v2 endpoint in a Guice-wired Java service as they are wiring up a TanStack Query call behind a Lexical editor or a virtualized data table — and who treats Claude Code as a peer on the keyboard, not a novelty. You’ll work directly with the product lead. No layers, no JIRA theater. Ship, review, iterate. **What you’ll do** Own vertical slices end-to-end: OpenAPI spec → Manager/ManagerImpl + EndpointImpl in QAction Java → React 19 / TanStack Query UI → JUnit + Playwright coverage. Extend the QAction Java backend: Guice (constructor injection only), Hazelcast-aware code paths, customer-deployment-aware module wiring, JUnit under oasv2. Build Modern UI features in the React 19 stack: TanStack Router/Query/Start, MUI v7 + Emotion, React Hook Form + Zod, Lexical, dnd-kit, OIDC auth (oidc-client-ts), TypeScript with the wrapper-component discipline already in place (Button, Icon, LabeledObject, ScrollShadows, etc. — never raw MUI in features). Move features off GWT onto the React 19 stack one slice at a time, without breaking the legacy app. Pair with Claude Code daily — write prompts that ship code, review agent diffs critically, and improve our skills/agents library when the workflow has friction. Keep integration tests honest: real DB + Solr + Keycloak at the seam, not mocks. Tech direction you’ll be living in **Backend** Java 21, Gradle multi-project (build single modules — ./gradlew QAction:build — never clean build) Guice DI, constructor injection, Manager/ManagerImpl naming (we don’t use “Service”) OpenAPI-first v2 endpoints in oasv2, canonical error model, paginated response classes as standalone beans in oasv2.beans Hazelcast clustering, Solr search, Postgres/MSSQL, Keycloak/OIDC FileNet integration, document import/migration tooling, RMT/remote services **Frontend** React 19 + TypeScript, Vite 7, TanStack Router + Query + Start + Table MUI v7 + Emotion, MUI X Date Pickers + Tree View Lexical (rich text), @dnd-kit + Atlaskit pragmatic-drag-and-drop, react-virtualized, react-pdf React Hook Form + Zod, oidc-client-ts + react-oidc-context, notistack, pino File naming kebab-case, @/ path imports, theme-first styling, wrapper components over raw MUI Adjacent surfaces in scopes over time **What we’re looking for** 8+ years shipping production app code across backend and frontend. You’ve owned services and UIs, not just one or the other. Java fluency — Guice or Spring DI, REST/OpenAPI design, JUnit. Bonus if you’ve worked in a 1M+ LOC enterprise Java codebase with customer-specific module deployments and didn’t flinch. Modern React fluency — React 18/19, TypeScript, TanStack Query (or React Query), a real opinion about effect dependency graphs, comfort with virtualized tables and rich-text editors. OpenAPI-first thinking. Specs are the source of truth, not documentation written after the fact. Claude Code power user. You write prompts that delegate well, you know when to use a subagent vs. inline, you’ve built or extended skills/hooks/MCP integrations. You can show us a recent session where Claude shipped something non-trivial under your direction. Small-team temperament. You’re allergic to ceremony. You read code before asking. You raise a small PR when it’s ready. **Nice to have** GWT (you won’t write new GWT, but you’ll need to read and migrate it). Workflow / BPMN, records management, e-signature, or ECM domain experience. Hazelcast, Solr, Keycloak operational familiarity. Lexical or another modern rich-text editor. Playwright (you’ll inherit a calibrated suite — we want you to improve it, not rewrite it). Docker compose stack bring-up across Postgres, MSSQL, Solr, Keycloak. Python services or Helm/Kubernetes deployment experience. **How we work** Small PRs. Every change ships through review. If it’s getting big, split it. Test-driven design. Tests come with the code, not after. JUnit on the Java side, Vitest + Playwright on the React side. Daily standups. 15 minutes, async-friendly, but we show up. Memory-backed Claude Code sessions — agents learn the codebase with you, not against you.

Needed a production 3D asset built for a website an interactive hero where our robot head "dissects": the outer shell separates with precise mechanical motion to reveal a glowing AI core, and each shell section becomes a selectable menu element. It renders live in the browser (Three.js), so this is a real-time asset, not a render job. I'm attaching the reference art; the model should faithfully recreate it same proportions, silhouette, materials, and color language. Please don't redesign it. Deliverable: one .glb file (glTF 2.0, binary) Structure — this is the critical part: - The outer shell must be modeled as six separate, watertight shell assemblies that nest together into the closed head. Not one mesh cut visually — six actual objects. - Plus a seventh object: the internal AI core (brain-like centerpiece with visible circuitry channels). - Name the nodes exactly: shell_01 through shell_06, and core. - Set each shell's pivot/origin at its resting (closed) position, oriented so it can glide outward along its natural separation direction. We animate the separation in code — you don't need to animate anything, but each panel's inner faces must be finished, since they'll be visible when open. - Real-world scale (head roughly 30 cm tall), Y-up, facing +Z. Materials/textures — PBR metal-rough workflow, one texture set shared across the shells plus one for the core: - Base color, metallic-roughness, normal, and emissive maps. The emissive map matters most: eye elements and neural circuitry lines that we'll pulse via code (electric blue, in the vein of #1A6EFF). - Author at 4K but deliver 2K versions too — we'll test which the web budget allows. Budgets (it must hold 60fps in a browser): - Target ≤ 150k triangles total, fewer if fidelity holds. Clean quad-dominant topology, no overlapping shells, no n-gon artifacts on the panel seams. - Final. glb ideally ≤ 15 MB with textures (we'll apply Draco/KTX2 compression on our end — deliver uncompressed, we handle that). Quality bar: Apple / Tesla / Boston Dynamics product visualization. It should read as a precision-engineered object, machined seams and all — not sci-fi, not game-prop. Also useful, if straightforward for you: a 4K 360° turntable render (closed and open states) from your DCC for marketing use, and the source file (. blend or equivalent) so we can regenerate maps later. First step, before you go deep: a quick blockout of the six-panel separation scheme (screenshots are fine) so we agree on where the seams fall, the six sections map to our six service domains, so the split layout matters to us. Skills needed - Blender, Maya, or ZBrush + Substance Painter

ABOUT THE PROJECTS. I run a curated marketplace on Shopify (The Ever Good) and I am building out an AI automation system to handle routine tasks in the business. I am AI-savvy and have built a Python agent myself, so I understand what I am asking for. I have the architecture planned and the business requirements semi-documented for each piece. I simply do not have the time to build everything I want to build, which is why I need a developer to work alongside me. The first project is a product review collection and import system. If it goes well, there is ongoing work building out additional agents over time, one at a time. This is a potential long-term engagement depending on how the first project goes. WHAT WE ARE BUILDING. The overall system is a set of AI agents that handle specific business tasks and route outputs to a simple dashboard where I can review, approve, and trigger actions before anything goes live. The dashboard is a Lovable build that gives me a single place to monitor agent status, review outputs, and approve or return anything that needs a human decision before it moves forward. Agents are planned across several areas of the business. We will build one at a time. I will walk you through the requirements for each before you start. Examples of agents here by business category (these could change): - MARKETPLACE & CATALOG. Product Reviews (first project), Catalog Enrichment and SEO, Pricing and Margin Monitor, New Product Auto-Pricer, Maker Stories, Maker Audit, Maker Analytics, Review Monitor. - CONTENT & SOCIAL. Content Generation, Cultural Moment Monitor, Social Publishing, Pinterest Curator, Instagram DM Automation, Image Production, Founder Content Amplifier. - MARKETING & ADS. Email Sequences, Paid Media Director, Ads Performance Monitor, LinkedIn Outreach. - SEO and Search. SEO and AI Search Visibility, Crawl Error and Redirects. - THE SCHOOL (Our Coaching Offerings). AI Readiness Assessment, Coaching Prep Tool, Workshop Launcher, Course Completion Monitor, Immersion Round Tracker. - FINANCE & OPS. Profit Police, Cash Flow Forecaster, Financial Health Monitor, System Health Monitor. - CUSTOMER SERVICE & GIFTING. Customer Service Drafts, Gift Inquiry and Proposals, Basket Assembler. OUR TECH STACK (Could Change). - AI AGENT BUILDING STACK. Claude Code, Claude API, Python, Make.com, Replit, Lovable, Google Sheets API, Baserow. - OTHER BUSINESS SYSTEMS. HOW WE WORK. - HOURLY. Collaborative and iterative engagement. - REQUIREMENTS. We review together before each build and refine as we go. - QA. I handle testing and QA on my end. - DOCUMENTATION. All work is documented throughout with decision logs and handoff notes so full ownership and control remains with me at every stage. - IP. All intellectual property and work product belongs to me entirely. - CLAUDE. You are expected to maintain your own Claude environment at a level that supports serious development work with no usage limitations. - ACCESS. All business systems and APIs provided with scoped credentials as needed. - DEPLOYMENT. Production deployment is handled collaboratively. - COMMITMENT. Looking for someone who can help maintain and evolve these tools over time while I retain full control and understanding of everything we build. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR. - CLAUDE. Must use Claude as your central AI LLM. Experience. Working experience with the Claude API and the tools in the building stack above, or a demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly. - COMMUNICATION.Clear communicator who works independently and does not need to be managed through a task, but is promptly responsive to me. - MINDSET. Building with AI tools as a regular part of your work. TO APPLY. Please share a brief description of one or two AI agents you have built, what they did, and what tools you used. Read an inspirational book on your human superpower in the AI age and provide sincere feedback. Total task is about 90 minutes. What you will do: Watch a 9-minute video introduction to the book on YouTube. At the end of the video, you'll see a link to the book on Kindle. The book costs $0.99 (this is part of your proposal cost). Read the book (about 15,000 words — roughly an hour for most readers). Take a 9-question quiz on the content so I know you read it. Send me brief, sincere feedback in Upwork messenger. I am not looking for editorial feedback. I want honest human reactions. Requirements: An existing Kindle account (no new accounts). Honest, sincere feedback. Interest in the topic (see below) vs. doing it just to get a review. Short Book Description: They told you to grow up. They didn’t tell you the upgrade would erase the original code. While you piled on layers of adult ego to survive, succeed, and protect yourself, you buried the most powerful force you ever possessed. What started as bubble wrap became a body cast. In the AI age, the real threat isn't a machine taking your job—it's you spending your one wild life performing competence, managing appearances, and suffocating the kid you buried under all of it. AI is forcing us to stop performing intelligence and start reclaiming the one thing no algorithm can replicate: the raw, unfiltered aliveness you were born with. This is not a "get in touch with your inner child" book. This is strategy. The most powerful move available to any human right now isn’t forward—it’s a U-turn back to your original operating system. This book is your playbook for that remembering. Through high-stakes business stories and hard-won personal truths, a National Association of Women Business Owners Hall of Fame Inductee and a U.S. National Exporter of the Year show you how to drop the armor, recover your instinct, and unlock the only advantage machines can't copy: the unfiltered, curious spark that lived inside you before adulthood ever built a fence. Deliberately short on purpose. Adult egos love to complicate life to look impressive. This book cuts past the noise and gets straight to the point: the more you try to manage life like a machine, the more you lose your edge. This isn't content; it's a crowbar. Use it to crack open the armor, drop the costume, and step into the most powerful version of you possible. The child licensed to drive the adult body.

DESCRIPTION We're a small applied AI lab running a live, production-track AI product for an institutional financial services client. The work is technical, fast-moving, and high-stakes. We need to fill a critical infrastructure role with someone senior, collaborative, and genuinely excited about building in the current AI tooling ecosystem. THE ROLE You'll own the data infrastructure layer for an AI-powered intelligence platform built on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering position — you're responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the pipelines that feed a live AI scoring engine. The environment is agentic. Data moves from 15+ heterogeneous external sources (APIs, PDFs, regulatory filings, web) through Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers into a scoring and inference system. The hard problems are extraction quality, schema normalization, pipeline reliability, and getting the right data to the scoring engine in the right shape. You'll work directly with the technical lead and engagement lead. No layers. Fast decisions. WHAT YOU'LL OWN + Data pipeline architecture and delivery across Bronze (raw ingestion), Silver (normalization, NLP extraction, entity resolution), and Gold (unified output, scoring-ready) layers + Microsoft Fabric lakehouse implementation — OneLake, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Warehouse, and downstream system integration + Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio) — agent orchestration, prompt pipelines, and AI model integration within a secure Azure tenancy + Azure Data Factory orchestration for structured source ingestion +Salesforce integration via Snowflake native connector — field mapping, custom object schemas, sync reliability Extraction pipelines for unstructured sources (PDFs, regulatory filings, web content), coordinating with Azure OpenAI-based extraction agents +Data governance and security posture — all data stays within the client's Azure tenancy; data residency is non-negotiable REQUIRED: Technical Skills + Microsoft Fabric — production experience, not sandbox. You should be able to speak to Lakehouse vs. Warehouse tradeoffs, OneLake architecture, and real pipeline implementation. Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI Studio — hands-on with agent deployments, prompt flow, model endpoints, and Azure OpenAI integration within an enterprise Azure tenancy + Azure Data Factory — pipeline authoring, trigger management, connector configuration, monitoring +Snowflake — Gold layer data warehousing, schema design, query optimization, native connector usage (specifically Salesforce) + Python — data engineering contexts: pandas, PySpark, API clients, extraction scripts + SQL — complex joins, window functions, schema design; SQL Server preferred + Azure Blob Storage / ADLS Gen2 — Parquet/Delta format, access control, lifecycle management REQUIRED: AI-Augmented Development This is a hard requirement. You should be actively using AI coding tools to multiply your output — fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex as part of your daily development workflow. If these aren't already in your stack, this isn't the right fit. We hire for multiplied output, not raw hours. REQUIRED: Demonstrable Work We don't evaluate resumes alone. Bring something — a GitHub repo, a deployed pipeline, an architecture document you authored, a case study with real numbers. We should be able to look at your work and understand what you built, what decisions you made, and why. Work under NDA is fine if you can describe it in enough detail to convey complexity and ownership. ATTITUDE & WORK STYLE Comfortable with Agile Scrum and its accompanying ceremonies. You raise issues early and help solve them. You communicate tradeoffs clearly without over-explaining. You're comfortable with evolving specs and don't need to win the architecture argument — just build the right thing within the approved stack. We're a small, senior team with low friction and direct communication. That's the environment; it works if you work with it. THE STACK The client environment has specific technology approvals. Production work runs on Azure OpenAI (client-hosted), Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Salesforce via Snowflake native connector, and SQL Server. LangChain, DeepSeek, and the external Claude API are not approved for this environment. NICE TO HAVES Experience with financial services or institutional investment data (SEC EDGAR, public pension filings, regulatory documents), familiarity with InvestorFlow or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, unstructured document extraction at scale, or Azure Purview.
