# Client Marketing Manager (Healthcare) - Steer Health **Job type:** Freelance / Contract, with potential to convert to long-term engagement **Hours:** 30-40 hrs/week, US business hours (Central Time preferred) **Location:** Remote (Dallas/Irving, TX a plus) ## About Steer Health Steer Health is an AI-native growth platform for health systems and medical practices, headquartered in Irving, Texas. Our platform (Luna) helps hospitals, specialty groups, and clinics attract patients, automate their front door, and grow revenue. Our customers include health systems, orthopedic and spine groups, eye care practices, and multi-site specialty organizations across the US. Our clients trust us not just with software, but with their growth. That means marketing execution on their behalf: campaigns, landing pages, local SEO, paid ads coordination, review management, and reporting. This role is the person who owns that relationship and makes it run. ## The Role We are hiring a Client Marketing Manager to be the primary marketing point of contact for a portfolio of healthcare clients. You will be the face of Steer's marketing services: gathering what clients need, responding quickly and warmly, translating requests into clear action items, and driving our internal team (designers, ad specialists, SEO, and web) to execute on the client's behalf. This is not a heads-down production role. It is a client-facing coordination and execution role for someone who loves making customers feel heard, keeps every ball in the air, and never lets a request go stale. ## What You Will Do - Act as the day-to-day marketing contact for assigned clients: emails, calls, and scheduled check-ins - Respond to client requests promptly (same business day, ideally within a few hours) and keep clients updated proactively so they never have to chase us - Run recurring client marketing calls: set agendas, capture action items, send clear recaps with owners and dates - Translate client goals into briefs and tickets for our internal team (paid ads, SEO, design, web, content) and drive them to completion - Own execution on the client's behalf: coordinate campaign launches, landing pages, Google Business Profile updates, review responses, email/SMS campaigns, and seasonal promotions - Track deliverables and deadlines across multiple clients simultaneously; escalate blockers early - Prepare and present monthly performance reports (traffic, leads, appointments, campaign results) in plain, client-friendly language - Spot growth opportunities for clients and bring proactive ideas, not just reactive task management - Maintain clean documentation of each client's brands, assets, approvals, and preferences ## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years in client-facing marketing roles: account management at an agency, client success in a marketing context, or marketing management for multi-location businesses - Exceptional written and verbal communication; warm, professional, and clear. Clients should feel taken care of after every interaction - Genuinely customer-friendly temperament: patient, positive, and calm under pressure, including when a client is frustrated - Fast, reliable responsiveness during US business hours; you treat response time as part of the product - Strong project management instincts: you can juggle 6-10 clients, keep trackers current, and never drop a request - Comfort with digital marketing fundamentals: Google Ads and LinkedIn basics, local SEO, landing pages, email/SMS campaigns, and analytics reporting - Ability to direct and quality-check work from designers, writers, and ad specialists - Healthcare, medical practice, or agency experience serving local/multi-location businesses is a strong plus - Familiarity with tools like HubSpot or similar CRMs, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, project trackers (Asana, ClickUp, or similar) ## What Success Looks Like - Clients describe you as responsive, organized, and a pleasure to work with - Every client request is acknowledged same day and tracked to completion - Monthly reports go out on time, and clients understand exactly what we did and what it produced - Our internal team always knows what to build, for whom, and by when - Client retention and expansion improve because clients feel genuinely supported ## How to Apply Please include: 1. A short note on a client relationship you managed: how you kept them happy and what results you drove 2. Your typical response-time standard for client requests 3. Two examples of marketing work you coordinated end to end (campaign, launch, or report) 4. Your availability during US Central business hours and your hourly rate Start your application with the word "Compass" so we know you read the full post.

Market Ontology is hiring one senior, hands-on growth marketer to find and exploit every viable route through which the company can acquire, convert, retain and expand customers. Market Ontology is a live financial intelligence product with paying and retained customers. It traces economic data, policy decisions, geopolitical developments and company disclosures through the companies, commodities, currencies and rates they can reprice, then carries the analysis into trade search, portfolio review, valuation and monitoring. You will report directly to the founder and personally operate the work. Your mandate is much broader than managing existing campaigns. You will continuously research the entire universe of ways Market Ontology can reach customers, identify overlooked distribution opportunities, launch tests quickly and aggressively expand the channels that produce valuable customers. Google Ads is one existing acquisition source. It is not the organizing principle of this role. The distribution universe includes, but is not limited to: * Google Search, Performance Max, Microsoft Ads and other demand-capture platforms. * Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic advertising and emerging paid-media surfaces. * SEO, current-event search capture, public product pages, research pages and scalable organic acquisition. * Founder-led content, company content, newsletters, video, social distribution and community participation. * Sponsorships, financial newsletters, creators, affiliates, referral partners and media relationships. * Qualified outbound, account-based marketing, institutional prospecting and enterprise pipeline creation. * Partnerships with brokers, financial platforms, data providers, trading communities, universities, professional associations and adjacent software companies. * Product-led acquisition through shared analyses, invitations, referrals, public prediction records, exports, widgets, APIs, bots, integrations and embedded distribution. * App stores, marketplaces, review platforms, directories and comparison surfaces. * Press, real-time market commentary, reactive campaigns and distribution around major economic, policy and geopolitical developments. * New channels, audiences and mechanisms that have not yet been considered by the founder. You are expected to look beyond this list. Discovering routes that Market Ontology has not considered is part of the job. You will own: * Building and continuously updating a complete map of potential acquisition and distribution channels. * Ranking opportunities by reachable customer value, speed to evidence, scaling ceiling, cost and likelihood of producing retained customers. * Exploiting demonstrated acquisition signals while continuously opening new ones. * Operating a portfolio of paid, organic, outbound, partnership and product-led growth experiments. * Researching where investors, traders, portfolio managers, wealth managers, financial professionals and institutional teams currently discover and purchase products. * Developing the campaign concepts, offers, advertisements, landing pages, emails, posts, outreach and partnership proposals required to test each opportunity. * Working with the product engineer to implement funnel changes and build distribution directly into the product. * Identifying ways product capabilities can create sharing, referrals, public visibility, integrations and network effects. * Moving capital and effort toward successful channels without waiting for the founder to interpret raw results. * Connecting every acquired customer to the channel, audience, message, offer, product behavior, renewal and expansion outcome that produced them. * Qualifying inbound and outbound opportunities until founder participation becomes commercially valuable. * Ending every experiment with an explicit stop, revise, continue or scale decision. During the first 30 days, you will: * Assume ownership of all existing acquisition and recurring marketing activity. * Produce a comprehensive opportunity map covering every credible paid, organic, outbound, partnership, embedded and product-led distribution route. * Analyze Market Ontology’s existing customers, campaigns, search terms, content, traffic, product usage and purchase journeys. * Identify the strongest demonstrated acquisition signals and exploit them further. * Launch at least two substantive growth experiments per week across multiple acquisition mechanisms. * Establish a rolling portfolio of active experiments rather than depending on a single platform. * Build or materially improve at least one organic, partnership, outbound or product-led route in addition to paid media. * Speak with or obtain substantive written feedback from relevant customers and prospects every week. * Ensure that no meaningful conversion, cancellation, search pattern, customer behavior or distribution opportunity sits unanalyzed. * Present a weekly capital-allocation decision showing where additional money and effort can produce the greatest growth. * Either establish scalable routes worth substantially increasing investment in or clearly determine which mechanisms should be abandoned. You should apply if you can demonstrate: * Personal ownership of growth across several materially different channels. * An example of discovering and exploiting a channel that was not already handed to you. * The ability to move from research to copy, campaign, landing route, outreach or partnership execution without assembling a large team. * Strong advertising, landing-page, email, social and outreach copy that you personally wrote. * Experience connecting acquisition to payment, product activation, retention and expansion. * Commercial judgment about when to exploit an existing channel and when to search for a new one. * The ability to work directly with a founder who thinks expansively and expects fast execution. * Enough intellectual curiosity to understand financial markets, investor behavior and the decisions Market Ontology supports. This is not a role for: * A Google Ads specialist whose answer to growth is adjusting campaigns. * A content manager who measures publication volume. * A strategist who produces channel recommendations for someone else to execute. * An agency or applicant who intends to subcontract the work. * Someone who repeats conventional SaaS playbooks without discovering new distribution opportunities. * Someone who treats every channel equally instead of rapidly reallocating effort toward what is working. * Someone whose evidence ends at impressions, leads or initial payments. Selection process Final candidates will complete a paid trial using real, anonymized Market Ontology evidence. The assignment will require you to: 1. Map the full range of channels through which Market Ontology could acquire self-directed, professional and institutional customers. 2. Identify at least three high-upside opportunities based on actual customer and product evidence. 3. Design the exact test for each opportunity. 4. Personally produce the complete assets for the strongest test. 5. Build that test in launch-ready form. 6. Explain how you would exploit it if the initial evidence is positive. 7. Identify what Market Ontology should stop doing or deprioritize. The initial engagement is 35–40 hours per week for 30 days, generally $6,000–$10,000 depending on experience and availability. Strong performance can become an ongoing role. Individual applicants only. No agencies, subcontractors or applicants intending to manage someone else who performs the work. When applying, answer every question: 1. Confirm that you are applying as an individual and will personally perform the work. 2. Describe a company for which you personally operated at least three distinct acquisition channels. State exactly what you did and the commercial results. 3. Describe one valuable acquisition channel or distribution mechanism that you discovered rather than inherited. 4. Explain how you decided where to allocate capital and time across competing channels. 5. Provide examples of an advertisement, landing-page passage, outreach message and organic post that you personally wrote. 6. Describe one channel you scaled aggressively and what evidence justified the decision. 7. Describe one apparently promising channel you abandoned and what evidence changed your mind. 8. What systems have you used to connect acquisition with payment, activation and retention? 9. If paid advertising disappeared tomorrow, how would you approach growing a financial intelligence product? 10. State your weekly availability, Pacific-time overlap, earliest start date and monthly rate. Generic proposals that do not answer these questions will not be considered.
