We are a family-run brand looking for someone to help manage our social media. The position would require assistance with content production, posting, scripting, and related tasks. Ideally, we'd meet 2-3x per month to shoot videos in bulk, and then do everything else over video calls.

Thousands of professionals come through our events, which gives us something most brands would kill for: a constant pipeline of real-world moments, faces, and stories to build content around. Our current social presence adequately showcases our events, but it doesn't capture the movement that we're looking to represent. We're now investing seriously in audience growth on Instagram and adjacent platforms. The ambition is bigger than event promotion. We intend to build Strive into a recognized brand in the professional development and career enhancement space. The audience we build now is the foundation: near-term it drives event registrations; longer-term it carries us into new offerings for the same professional community. THE ROLE We're looking for a consultant who has actually grown brand accounts, not managed posting calendars, but taken accounts from small to significant and can show the receipts. You'll work directly with the founders. PHASE 1 — Strategy sprint (paid, fixed scope, roughly 3-6 weeks): - Audit our current presence, content, and positioning - Define platform priorities, content pillars, and a repeatable content system (formats, templates, cadence) - Set realistic growth targets and the metrics that actually matter (not vanity followers) - Recommend the right execution model for us: in-house, outsourced to you, or hybrid, and what it costs in all scenarios PHASE 2 — Ongoing engagement (optional, if Phase 1 goes well). Two possible scopes: - Advisory retainer: monthly strategy reviews, content performance analysis, and course correction, with execution handled by our in-house team - Full-service: you (or your team) own execution end to end - content production, posting, community management - plus the strategy layer We haven't decided which model fits us best; part of the Phase 1 sprint is helping us make that call honestly. If you only do one of the two, say so. Strategists who don't execute are welcome to apply, as are teams that do both. Performance incentives are available on agreed KPIs under either model. YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU - Have grown one or more brand accounts to meaningful scale on Instagram and/or TikTok (bring numbers, timeframes, and links. This is the core qualification) - Have worked with event-based, community, or professional/career-focused brands (experience with multi-market or global brands is a strong plus) - Can design systems a small team can run without you, rather than making yourself a dependency - Give direct opinions and push back on us when we're wrong. We want an advisor, not an order-taker COMPENSATION - Phase 1 sprint: fixed project fee. Hello! I am looking for someone to help my agency scale by helping with social media creatives and with general admin assisting. My idea is to bring someone on who knows social media, marketing, and can handle administrative tasks. My ideal candidate would know social media well enough to understand strategy is just as important as creatives. I would also like someone who knows general marketing and can send out PR pitches, however this is not a deal breaker.
