__Overview__ We're a commercial electrical contractor (with a newer home services division) looking for a technical and local SEO audit across two of our websites. We handle all our own development in-house, so we are not hiring anyone to implement changes or access our code. What we need is an audit with recommendations specific enough that our team can code them directly. To be clear up front: this is not a general "improve your SEO" engagement. It's a one-time audit and specification. If the deliverable you produce is a page-by-page build spec, we're a great fit. If it's a generic checklist, we're not. __Our setup (please read — this matters)__ Both sites are self-hosted and custom-built in JavaScript (client-side rendered). There is no CMS (no WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc.). This means: - There's no admin panel to log into and no plugin to install — every recommendation get implemented in code by our team. - Content is rendered client-side, so we need someone who understands how to audit what Googlebot actually renders, not just the raw HTML. If you've only ever worked inside WordPress/Yoast, this project isn't the right fit. __Scope__ - 2 websites, roughly 4–5 key pages each (approximately 8–10 pages total). - The two sites are for related parts of the same business, so there's shared context between them. __What we need delivered__ For each key page, we're looking for: - Target keyword(s) with the reasoning behind them — search volume, competition, and intent, including local/geo terms - Exact title tag (with character count) - Exact meta description - H1 / H2 heading structure - Which schema / structured-data type to use, and the specific fields to include Plus, across the sites: - Technical items spelled out — XML sitemap structure, robots.txt, canonical strategy - An off-page / local track — Google Business Profile, reviews, and citations The bar: the audit should read like a spec we could hand to a developer and implement without guessing. Concrete strings and values, not "optimize your meta descriptions for relevant keywords." __What this job is NOT__ - Not implementation — we write the code ourselves. - Not ongoing monthly retainer work. This is a one-time audit + spec. (We may consider ongoing local/reputation work as a separate engagement later, but that's not what we're hiring for here.) - Not link-building packages, blog-writing subscriptions, or "social bookmarking" bundles. In your proposal, include your price for the full scope above and your turnaround time. Thanks — we're looking forward to seeing your work.

I am the owner and physical therapist at Prime Physio, an independently owned sports physical therapy, athlete assessment, recovery, and conditioning clinic in Longmont, Colorado. Prime Physio is currently a small, owner-operated clinic with a larger long-term vision. My goal is to establish it as one of the most trusted local destinations for sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, athlete assessment, recovery, and long-term physical development. Our primary clinical differentiator is the FDS™: Functional Diagnosis System. Rather than simply following a standardized treatment protocol based on a medical diagnosis, we assess how each person’s body is functioning, identify the factors contributing to symptoms or performance limitations, and develop an individualized plan based on what that person actually needs. Our services include: * Sports and orthopedic physical therapy * Return-to-sport rehabilitation * Athlete Functional Assessments * Athlete Performance Assessments * Dry needling * Athlete recovery services * Personal training and conditioning Baseball and softball are our primary sports focus, followed by pickleball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and other active populations. We also treat general orthopedic patients and active adults. ## What I Am Looking For I am looking for a proactive marketing and community growth professional who can help guide and execute the clinic’s marketing strategy. This is not a position for someone who only creates occasional social media posts after receiving detailed instructions. I am looking for someone who can learn the clinic, understand the vision, identify what needs to be done, recommend effective strategies, and actively help execute them. I know what I want Prime Physio to become clinically and within the community, but marketing is not my area of expertise. I want to work with someone who can translate that vision into a practical growth strategy. The right person should be able to tell me: * What the clinic should prioritize * Which audiences and local organizations we should target * Which marketing channels are worth our time and budget * What content and marketing materials we need * Which partnerships and community opportunities we should pursue * What is working and what is not working * How we should adjust the strategy based on actual results ## Scope of the Role The work may include: * Developing the clinic’s overall local marketing strategy * Creating quarterly and seasonal campaigns if appropriate * Planning and managing a practical content calendar * Improving local search visibility and website content * Researching local schools, athletic programs, sports teams, coaches, gyms, trainers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations * Reaching out to appropriate local contacts on behalf of Prime Physio * Following up and developing long-term professional and community relationships * Identifying worthwhile events, partnerships, sponsorships, and local participation opportunities * Helping build our “Team Prime Physio” professional referral network * Supporting marketing for future programs, including offseason baseball and athlete-development services * Analyzing which strategies are effective * Recommending improvements and reallocating effort toward what produces meaningful growth ## Local Marketing and Community Outreach Local relationship-building is an important part of this role. I do not want the clinic to rely only on social media or paid advertising. I want Prime Physio to become naturally connected with the local sports, fitness, healthcare, and active-adult communities. Potential relationships may include: * Baseball and softball organizations * Coaches and athletic programs * Other sports communities * Local gyms and CrossFit facilities * Personal trainers and strength coaches * Athletic directors and athletic trainers * Physicians and independent medical providers * Chiropractors, massage therapists, and other complementary professionals * Imaging centers and other professional referral partners * Community organizations and local events The ideal person would be comfortable researching these opportunities, initiating appropriate outreach, following up professionally, and helping develop genuine long-term relationships. Because of this local component, someone who lives in or understands Longmont, Niwot, Firestone, Boulder, or the surrounding Colorado area would be especially valuable. Most work can be completed remotely, but occasional in-person meetings or Zoom meeting may be helpful. ## How I Would Like to Work Together My priority is to spend most of my professional time: * Treating and preparing for patients * Improving as a clinician * Learning new information * Building better clinical and athlete services I would like the marketing professional to take primary responsibility for: * Converting the vision into a strategy * Organizing the marketing process * Suggesting what should be done next * Executing approved campaigns * Conducting outreach * Tracking performance * Recommending adjustments ## Ultimate Goal My goal is not to hire someone for a few isolated projects. I am hoping to find a long-term marketing and business-growth partner who genuinely cares about Prime Physio’s success and wants to grow with the clinic. Initially, the clinic is small and the position may be limited in hours. However, I would like to build a strong working relationship with someone who can gradually take greater ownership of the clinic’s marketing as the business grows. The ideal person will be both strategic and willing to execute. They should be proactive, organized, analytical, comfortable with local outreach, and able to work independently without waiting for detailed instructions for every task. Success should not be evaluated only by followers, likes, or impressions. More meaningful outcomes include: * Qualified patient and client inquiries * New physical therapy evaluations * Athlete assessment bookings * Recovery and conditioning clients * Professional referrals * Local partnerships * Greater community recognition * Stronger website and Google visibility * Clear identification of which strategies are producing results * Sustainable long-term clinic growth I am looking for someone who can understand the vision behind Prime Physio, help determine the best path forward, and actively work with me to make that vision successful in the local community.

Project Description We are looking for an experienced SEO and Google Ads specialist, freelancer, or agency to help improve and grow our local home services website. Company provides electrical, plumbing, and related home services in California. We prefer working with providers who understand local service businesses in California, especially the Bay Area, Sacramento, or Los Angeles. However, we are open to strong candidates from other locations. The website is already built and hardcoded. We have a web developer available, and we can involve a designer or content writer if needed. We need someone who can lead the SEO and Google Ads process, not just send a generic audit. Goal is to make the website a real lead-generation channel. We currently receive around 300 leads per month from other advertising platforms. The website itself is currently neglected — we are not actively working on it, and it brings in only about 10–19 leads per month from organic traffic alone. We believe a professional can grow this significantly. Our target is approximately 100 additional leads per month through SEO and Google Ads combined. We understand this is a gradual process — we are not expecting instant results, and we realistically expect meaningful growth to take at least two months to build, with steady, measurable progress rather than an overnight spike. Single Specialist vs. Team Ideally we would like one person who can handle both SEO and Google Ads, because we expect Google Ads to be the faster, more measurable lead channel in the short term, while SEO builds results over time. Google Ads gives us clear attribution — we can see which action led to which result — whereas SEO results are harder to track immediately. That said, we are flexible: -A strong SEO specialist who can confidently deliver results without Google Ads is welcome. -An advanced Google Ads specialist who can deliver results without heavy SEO is also welcome. -A small team or agency covering both areas is fine too. Tell us honestly which model fits you best. Main Tasks -Review current website analytics -Analyze current website structure and SEO status -Prepare page titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 recommendations -Analyze provided keywords and map them to service pages -Review local competitors and provide a practical correction list -Prepare the website for Google indexing -Review sitemap, robots.txt, crawlability, canonicals, and indexability -Recommend and help implement schema markup -Review Core Web Vitals and page speed issues -Create clear technical tasks for our web developer -Set up or optimize Google Ads campaigns -Review keywords, negative keywords, ads, locations, and landing pages -Set up or verify conversion tracking for calls, forms, and quote requests -Provide weekly updates and monthly performance summaries Expected Deliverables -Technical SEO audit with priority list -Keyword map for SEO and Google Ads -Page title/meta/H1/H2 recommendations -Competitor analysis with specific website corrections -Indexing checklist and Google Search Console recommendations -Schema markup recommendations -Google Ads setup or optimization plan -Conversion tracking checklist -Weekly progress report in simple language -Monthly report with traffic, leads, cost per lead, and next steps Competitor Research We will provide a list of local competitors in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and home services. The selected contractor should compare our website against these competitors and identify what they are doing better in SEO, Google Ads, landing pages, service pages, local SEO, calls to action, page speed, and lead generation. Preferred Experience -We prefer someone with experience in: -Local service businesses -Home services -Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, handyman, or construction companies -California local SEO -Google Ads for lead generation -Technical SEO for custom or hardcoded websites -Google Search Console -GA4 -Schema markup -Core Web Vitals -Conversion tracking What We Are Not Looking For -Generic SEO packages -Random backlink packages -Blog posting without strategy -AI content spam -Reports with no clear action items -Google Ads management without conversion tracking -A one-time PDF audit with no implementation support -Reporting and Workflow -We expect transparent work. Please be ready to: -Track time through Upwork -Send short weekly updates -Create clear tasks for our developer -Explain technical recommendations in simple business language -Get approval before major changes Budget & Compensation Our compensation structure is: Fixed monthly retainer of $1,200–$1,500 per month, targeting approximately 100 additional leads per month. Additional performance bonuses for organic growth and lead volume beyond the target — to be discussed and agreed individually as results develop over time. Important — what this budget covers: this amount is the compensation paid directly to the freelancer or agency for their work only. It does NOT include: Advertising spend (Google Ads budget will be funded separately by us). Content creation, if needed (handled and paid separately). Web developer time (we have a developer available, paid separately as needed). We are open to discussing the exact structure, but we value clear deliverables, time tracking, and measurable progress over the lowest price. Once organic growth and lead volume become measurable, we are glad to discuss additional compensation tied to the number of extra leads generated — this is a conversation about the longer-term partnership, since we expect this process to take at least two months to show meaningful results.
