Project Brief: Horse Racing Handicapping Automation – MVP Project Title: Build an MVP Python script to automate horse racing handicapping using Thoro-Graph, Brisnet, and EquinEdge data. Overview / Goal I have developed a working handicapping model in Python (handicap_race_v39) that ranks horses for a race using normalized metrics from EquinEdge (Win%, GSR), Beyer figures, projected Thoro-Graph figures, and bonus signals (Thoro-Graph patterns, trip quality, hidden/sneaky good performances). The goal of this project is to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that automates the end-to-end process: Input: A full race card’s documents (Thoro-Graph PDF + Brisnet PDF + EquinEdge screenshots) Output: Ranked horse selections per race with transparent bonus explanations. This is the cheapest realistic path — I want a functional working script first, not a polished GUI or production-grade system. Current State (What Already Exists) • A verified core handicapping function (handicap_race_v39) that normalizes inputs and produces ranked selections with estimated win probabilities. • Proximity-based bonus logic that assigns Thoro-Graph patterns and trip comments to the correct horse. • Bonus configuration values (e.g., Top-Pair-Top = +18, troubled but strong trip = +6 to +10, hidden trip = +12, X/bounce = -8). • Human-readable bonus summary logic. I will provide all existing code to the developer. MVP Scope (Cheapest Realistic Path) Build a single, reliable Python script that can: 1. Accept a race card’s documents (one Thoro-Graph multi-page PDF, one Brisnet PDF, and multiple EquinEdge screenshot images). 2. Extract key structured data: • Horse names • Today’s projected Thoro-Graph figure (or relevant pattern) • Beyer figures • EquinEdge Win% and GSR • Thoro-Graph patterns (Top-Pair-Top, Pair-Pair-Pair, X, bounce, etc.) • Trip quality / hidden trip signals 3. Run the existing handicap_race_v39 model with proximity-based bonuses. 4. Output clean ranked selections per race, including: • Rank • Horse name • Composite score • Estimated win probability • Key bonus explanations (why the horse received positive or negative bonuses) Key Deliverables • One working Python script (or small set of scripts) that processes a full race card. • Clear output in CSV and/or readable text format. • Basic documentation on how to run the script. • The script should handle the most common cases cleanly (even if it needs occasional manual help on very difficult pages). Technical Preferences • Python 3 (pandas, numpy, etc.) • Use of AWS Textract is acceptable for PDF parsing (I can provide AWS access or the developer can suggest alternatives). • The existing code I provide should be used as the foundation for the scoring engine. • Keep it simple and maintainable — this is an MVP. Out of Scope (to keep cost down) • Web interface or GUI • Fully automated daily processing / scheduling • Perfect accuracy on every single page (some manual review or overrides are acceptable in MVP) • Back-testing framework • Advanced machine learning models Success Criteria • The script can process a complete race card (Thoro-Graph + Brisnet + EquinEdge) and produce ranked selections for all races. • Bonus logic is applied at the horse level (not race level). • Output is clear enough that I can understand why each horse received its ranking and bonuses. • The script runs reliably on new race cards with reasonable accuracy. Timeline & Budget Guidance (Cheapest Realistic Path) • I am looking for the most cost-effective realistic solution, not the most polished version. • Realistic budget range for this MVP: $3,500 (depending on experience and location). • Timeline: 3–5 weeks is acceptable. How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: 1. Your relevant experience with PDF parsing, OCR, or document automation (especially dense tables or racing/sports data). 2. A short description of how you would approach the Thoro-Graph PDF parsing challenge. 3. Your proposed timeline and total cost for the MVP as described. 4. Any questions you have about the existing code or scope.

Senior Mobile SaaS / Unity Entitlements Engineer for B2B Licensing Platform Project Overview: Simcoach Games develops behavioral health and educational games used by clinics, schools, clinicians, and families. We are looking for a senior technical resource to help us design and build lightweight access, licensing, and an entitlement layer for our Unity-based mobile games. Our current games are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. We need to evolve from separate consumer and enterprise app versions toward a cleaner model where games can be downloaded easily, while access is controlled through parent purchases, clinic/school licenses, organization activation codes, or other entitlement rules. This is not a game development project. We are looking for someone with experience building mobile SaaS infrastructure, app-store purchase flows, backend entitlement systems, and simple admin tools. Scope of Work: The initial engagement will focus on one representative game and should produce a reusable pattern that can later be applied across our game portfolio. The expected scope includes: Recommend architecture for B2C and B2B access control across iOS and Android Design an entitlement model for organizations, users/devices, games, licenses, activation codes, expiration dates, and access rules Implement or integrate app-store purchase handling for parent/consumer unlocks Implement a clinic/school activation flow, such as organization codes or device activation Build a lightweight backend entitlement service Build a simple internal admin portal for Simcoach staff to create organizations, issue/revoke access, manage license status, and view activations Create a reusable Unity integration package or pattern that our internal developers can apply to other games Document the architecture and implementation clearly for future development Architecture must be compatible with future HIPAA compliance (encrypted data at rest and in transit, audit logging, BAA-ready cloud hosting). We will engage a HIPAA attorney separately, but the infrastructure should not create compliance debt. Advisory (Ongoing): Guide our team on App Store consolidation: merging duplicate listings, applying for Apple Unlisted App Distribution, configuring Apple Business/School Manager volume purchasing, and Google Play enterprise distribution. Recommend architecture for future integrations with ABA practice management platforms (CentralReach, Motivity, RethinkBH) via REST API/SSO. Ideal Experience: Strong mobile SaaS architecture experience Apple StoreKit and Google Play Billing experience, or experience with RevenueCat or similar tools Unity/C# integration experience Backend/API development experience using Firebase, Supabase, AWS, or similar platforms Experience with authentication, entitlements, activation codes, license management, and admin portals Familiarity with privacy-sensitive healthcare, behavioral health, or education products Ability to design pragmatic solutions for a small startup with limited engineering and support resources Helpful but Not Required: Experience with healthcare, digital therapeutics, behavioral health, edtech, or serious games Familiarity with HIPAA/FERPA-aware product design Experience with shared-device or clinic/school deployment models Experience supporting both direct-to-consumer and enterprise customers from the same mobile app What Success Looks Like: A successful engagement will give Simcoach a practical, scalable, and maintainable access model that reduces app-store confusion, avoids manual account administration, supports B2B clinic and school sales, and preserves a viable path for parent/consumer purchases. We are looking for a senior, pragmatic resource who can help us make the right architectural decisions, implement an MVP, and leave our internal team with a reusable foundation.

**Overview** We are a fast-growing SaaS company with a lean engineering team (~10 devs) utilizing a modern Python (FastAPI/Django) and Node.js backend, React frontend, and PostgreSQL stack. We have already deployed an initial multi-model agent stack—Claude Code, LiteLLM gateway, Git worktrees, and MCP integrations. We need an expert to run an intensive architecture review and optimization session for our current infrastructure. We are not looking for someone to build a full-time, weeks-long project from scratch. Instead, we need a seasoned engineer who has shipped this exact type of infrastructure end-to-end to audit our setup, identify architectural gaps, and guide our team on hardened implementation. This project must move fast. If your timeline is measured in weeks, please do not apply. We want someone who looks at this scope, jumps into a review session, and delivers actionable architectural guidance in days. This starts as a focused, urgent consultation. However, we expect ongoing advisory work—follow-ups, architecture adjustments, and enhancement reviews—as the AI tooling landscape shifts. For the right engineer, this will turn into a recurring relationship. We are completely open to a fixed price per milestone or an hourly structure. **What You Need to Have Actually Shipped and Can Review (Not Just Read About)** * **Full Agentic Coding Harnesses:** The entire loop: orchestrator → subagent → CI gate → merge loops. * **Isolation Layers:** Configured execution layers (such as E2B, Modal, or secure Docker runtimes) as isolated sandboxes for AI-generated code. * **Parallel Claude Code Sessions:** Managed multiple simultaneous subagents on scoped tasks via Git worktrees. * **Self-Hosted LiteLLM Gateways:** Routing to multiple models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek). * **MCP Server Infrastructure:** Connected file system, PostgreSQL, Atlassian, and Slack tool layers for active agents. * **Agent Framework Structures:** Used CLAUDE.md, COMMON\_MISTAKES.md, subagent role definitions, hook scripts, and settings.json. * **Human-in-the-Loop Orchestration:** Built Plan Mode or equivalent approval gates before agent execution. * **Multi-Agent Frameworks:** 7-agent feature factory patterns or frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or Autogen. * **Durable Workflow Engines:** Applied Temporal, n8n, or similar tools for long-running agent workflow execution. * **Mechanical Quality Gates:** Treating CI green as the ultimate gate for agent output quality. \[[1](https://manveerc.substack.com/p/ai-agent-sandboxing-guide)\] **Our Current Stack (What you are reviewing)** * **Backend:** Python (FastAPI / Django) & Node.js (TypeScript) * **Frontend:** React (Next.js) * **Database & ORM:** PostgreSQL / Prisma / SQLAlchemy * **Infrastructure:** Docker Compose, AWS (ECS/EKS) * **CI/CD:** GitHub Actions / GitLab CI * **AI Layer:** Claude Code with shared `.claude/` directory, CLAUDE.md, and LiteLLM gateway in Docker * **MCP:** Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), custom PostgreSQL MCP server, Slack * **Workflow Automation:** Temporal / n8n * **QA Automation:** Playwright / Autonoma **Scope of Work (Review & Advisory Only)** 1. **Comprehensive Audit:** Audit our current agent harness and identify architectural gaps against a production-grade standard. 2. **Sandbox Strategy Consultation:** Review our environment strategy to ensure highly secure, isolated execution runtimes for agent code runs. 3. **Workflow Hardening Review:** Evaluate our parallel agent workflow setup (Git worktrees, subagent role configs, hook scripts, and settings lockdown). 4. **CI Pipeline Integration Strategy:** Advise on wiring our sandbox execution layer into the existing CI pipeline so agent-executed code runs in clean snapshots, not live infra. 5. **Architectural Runbook:** Deliver an optimization report / documented standard that our backend lead can easily own and execute going forward. **How to Apply** Skip the generic pitch. Show us something real to be considered: 1. A GitHub repo, architecture diagram, or Loom walkthrough of an agentic harness you have actually shipped. 2. Specific tools from our stack you have personally configured (E2B, LiteLLM, Claude Code, etc.). 3. One sentence explaining the hardest problem you solved to get full agent loops running reliably. 4. Your availability to conduct this high-impact architectural review session this week.
