Create a Word template This Legal size landscape document prints double sided onto 2 pieces of paper that is folded in half. The outside page is a church worship guide and inside is an insert sheet. When I used Publisher, both pages were in one file. With Word, I do not know how to manipulate each page with different formats or columns to have in one single file. First piece of paper is Page 1, (of 4 individual pages) is a photo that changes weekly and has a church infomation. Page 2 and 3 has words that flow from one side to the other side depending upon the amount of words but it never exceeds page 2 and 3. Page 4 is the back cover and that information rarely changes. The 2nd piece of paper also has 4 individual pages used as an insert to the first piece of paper. Page 1 has minimal changes weekly, pages 2 and 3 may contain photos or typed articles. Page 4 has minimal changes weekly. (1)I am unable to make the articles in Word stable. When I change info weekly on insert pages the images disappear and articles are distored. I am unable to remove the origional typed calendar and current copy has text box calendar ontop of it. When I try to erase the typed text under the text box, other information and text boxes get erased as well. (2)I need to print the final copy each week as well as convert it to a PDF to email. (3) Is there a feature to make the calendar easier to change weekly? (4) Is there an easier way to choose changes (dates and names) within the liturgist and acolye box? maybe a drop down choice? (5) Have both sheets of paper in one file to print. (6) any other suggestion to make this transition any easier would be appreciated. Just a bit of background, I am pushing 70 years old, Grammy of 8, and I have used MS Publsiher for everything. I do not know this Word program and I have tried Canva. I have used AI instructions to build this template and still can not master it after a month of daily effort. I have little money (widow on fixed income and this part time job) and work for this church that is operating in the negative. Please help!!!! I will attach a Word for review. and I will also attach an older Publisher file .Thank you.

About us PennCoat is a family-owned industrial contractor specializing in epoxy/concrete floor coatings, industrial painting, and safety linestriping for facilities like power plants, food & pharmaceutical manufacturers, and distribution centers. We're launching a direct mail campaign and need a designer who can make industrial construction look sharp, credible, and professional - not generic. The (initial) Project We need 4 distinct postcard concepts for a direct mail campaign targeting plant managers, operations managers, maintenance managers, facilities managers, and capital-projects decision-makers across the industrial sector. These are the people who decide on coatings, industrial painting, and floor work for their facilities, so the designs need to feel like they belong in that world - clean, confident, industrial. Each of the 4 concepts must be adapted to two sizes: 6×9 and 5×7 (same design, sized for both formats — so 4 concepts, delivered at both dimensions). This is the first send of what will become a recurring quarterly campaign (4x/year). We'll reuse these templates and rotate in fresh site photos and updated copy each round - so the templates must be built for easy in-house updating (swap a photo, swap a line of copy) without breaking the layout. Deliverables 4 unique postcard concepts, each with a front and back, each adapted to 6×9 and 5×7 Editable/working source files - built with clear, labeled placeholders for our photos and copy so our team can update them between sends. Please tell us your recommended format (Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop or Canva) and why; we want something we can maintain ourselves. Print-ready files compliant with VistaPrint's mailing/direct-mail upload specs — correct bleed, safe margins, CMYK, 300 DPI, and the required clear zones on the back for the mailing address block and postage/indicia. Files must upload to VistaPrint cleanly with no flags. What we'll provide Hundreds of our own industrial job-site photos to work from Our logo (shared on hire). For a feel of our brand and the kind of work we do, take a look at our website. Copy for the postcards - though we're open to your suggestions, and you should build the templates with clean placeholder text/copy blocks so wording is easy to drop in and change Timeline for Initial Project (firm) Initial drafts/concepts for review by July 8, 2026 Final, print-ready files by July 12, 2026 This is a hard deadline tied to our first mail-out, so we need someone with the availability to move quickly and turn around revisions promptly over the next ~2 weeks. (So we know you read the full brief, please begin your proposal with the word "GREYSTONE.") Ongoing Opportunities The postcards are step one. We have a steady pipeline of design work ahead - website revamp and graphics, brochures, vehicle/truck wraps and logo work, additional campaign materials, etc. We're looking to build a long-term relationship with the right designer, not just fill a single gig. Do well here and there's consistent work waiting. You're a strong fit if you have -A portfolio with B2B, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or trades design work (please point us to relevant samples) -Real print/direct-mail design experience - you understand bleed, safe zones, CMYK, and platform-specific upload specs (bonus if you've prepped files for VistaPrint specifically) -An eye for making industrial photography look clean and premium -Availability to hit the dates above and communicate clearly To apply, please include 2–3 portfolio samples most relevant to industrial/B2B print or direct mail A one-line note on whether you'd build these in Adobe or Canva, and why Confirmation you can meet the July 8 draft / July 12 final dates Your rate/quote for the initial 4-design set (both sizes, working + print files) We read every proposal and will respond quickly. Looking forward to seeing your work. PS - we are pretty particular and have high standards on quality, so please do not apply if you're not open to feedback and constructive criticism or are going to create something quickly with ai.

We are looking for a reliable proposal layout designer to help us turn drafted proposal content into polished, professional bid submissions. We are a small AI training, advisory, and implementation firm. We respond to RFPs, speaker opportunities, consulting opportunities, and organizational training bids. Our proposals are usually drafted first in Google Docs, then need to be laid out in Canva using our established proposal style. This is not a one time design overhaul. We are looking for someone we can return to on a regular basis as new bids come up. WHAT WE NEED For each proposal, we would provide: * A Google Doc with the proposal content * The RFP or bid requirements, when available * Existing proposal examples showing the style we want to maintain * Brand guidance, including fonts, colors, spacing, tone, and visual preferences * Any required submission instructions or forms You would help with: * Laying out the proposal in Canva using our existing visual style * Creating clean, readable pages that feel premium, restrained, and professional * Improving hierarchy, spacing, flow, and page organization * Making long proposal content easier to scan without making it look crowded * Creating or adapting simple tables, timelines, workplans, pricing pages, and section dividers * Maintaining consistency with our existing proposal examples * Exporting final PDFs * Providing the editable Canva file or template link PROPOSAL SUPPORT A helpful additional skill would be the ability to review the RFP or bid requirements and flag anything that appears missing, unclear, or potentially non-compliant. This does not need to be a full legal or procurement compliance review. We already use other tools and internal review for that. But we would value someone who can notice issues such as: * A required section is missing * A question has not been answered directly * A page limit, format requirement, deadline, or attachment requirement may have been overlooked * The proposal structure does not clearly match the buyer’s requested criteria * A required pricing, timeline, staffing, or qualifications item needs to be easier to find IDEAL FIT You would be a strong fit if you: * Have experience laying out business proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks, consulting proposals, or professional services documents * Are highly skilled in Canva * Have strong judgment about readability, spacing, hierarchy, and page flow * Understand that professional proposals need to be clear and persuasive, not just attractive TYPICAL PROJECT SIZE Most proposals are approximately 8 to 25 pages after layout, depending on the opportunity.
