As discussed, dig through my Shopify and make sure the integration between Klaviyo and Smile.io is set up correctly. The two are communicating and I set up basic email flows which are live but emails are not going out. Not sure what is set up incorrectly. I can't seem to find how to send test emails, but I did when I set it up in March. They were okay, nothing flashy, I can work on that. Initial goal is to make sure everything is working as it should and customers see rewards points.

Overview We're a behavioral health-focused EHR and practice management platform built exclusively for mental health and substance use disorder practices, from solo therapists to large multi-site organizations. We help behavioral health practitioners focus their efforts, speed their process, and track their progress through purpose-built clinical, billing, and patient experience tools. We're looking for a skilled freelance email marketing copywriter to join our marketing team on an ongoing contract basis. Your primary focus will be writing polished, brand-consistent email copy that supports our demand generation, nurture, and customer marketing programs. That means primarily nurture sequences for now, but if a first contract goes well, we may consider expanding based on project and need. You'll work from briefs and existing campaign context to produce copy that moves the right audience toward the right next step. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role. We're not looking for someone to fill in a template with generic copy. We're looking for a writer who understands B2B SaaS email, takes conversion seriously, and can produce audience-specific copy that feels personal and purposeful without relying on manipulation or hype. What You'll Write The majority of your work will be email copy for multi-touch nurture sequences and standalone campaign sends targeting behavioral health practice owners, clinicians, practice managers, billers, and operations leads. Email types will include nurture sequences tied to specific personas and lifecycle stages, promotional sends for product features, events, and content offers, webinar invitation and follow-up sequences, re-engagement campaigns for cold or lapsed contacts, and transactional or triggered email copy as needed. Most assignments will include a brief covering audience segment, goal, offer or CTA, and relevant context. Writers who can read a brief and produce targeted, conversion-aware copy without requiring detailed line-by-line direction will have more opportunities here. What We're Looking For You have demonstrated experience writing B2B email copy, preferably for SaaS, healthcare technology, or similarly professional audiences. Your work shows that you understand how to write subject lines that earn opens, body copy that holds attention, and CTAs that drive clicks without feeling pushy. You know how to write for a segmented audience rather than a generic list. You understand the difference between an email that informs and an email that converts. You know when to be direct and when to build, and you apply that judgment based on where the reader sits in the funnel. You're comfortable working within brand voice guidelines. You don't need creative latitude to write well. You need a clear brief, a defined voice, and enough context about the audience to write something that actually lands. You're organized and responsive. Email campaigns have send dates tied to real programs. If a deadline is at risk, you say so with enough notice to adjust. Brand Voice Our voice is collaborative, insightful, and results-focused. Our readers are the heroes of the story. We provide tools and context that help them succeed. Copy should never position us as the authority telling practitioners what to do. It should position the reader as a capable expert with access to better information and better tools. Tone is professional but not clinical, warm but not casual. We avoid jargon-as-filler, fear-based urgency, and overly salesy language. Write in second person, active voice, with clean sentence structure throughout. Practical Requirements Each email deliverable includes subject line, preview text, and full body copy with a clear CTA. For sequences of three or more emails, a brief send logic note outlining suggested timing and trigger logic between emails is appreciated, though not required. Copy should be submitted in a clean Word-compatible format with each email clearly labeled. We expect clean first drafts. We'll provide one round of consolidated feedback per campaign or sequence, no more than two. We're not looking to rewrite submissions from scratch after delivery. Standard turnaround is three to five business days for sequences of up to five emails. Single sends are typically two to three business days. Timelines for larger campaigns will be agreed upon at the time of briefing. Nice to Have Experience writing emails deployed through Marketo or HubSpot. Familiarity with behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare SaaS audiences. Comfort writing for multiple personas within a single campaign. Experience with A/B subject line testing and writing multiple variants. Understanding of email deliverability considerations as they relate to copy length, link density, and spam triggers. Compensation This is a per-project contract engagement. Rates are negotiated based on experience, writing sample quality, and campaign complexity. Writers who consistently deliver publish-ready copy, require minimal revision, and are responsive and reliable will have priority access to ongoing volume. Rate discussions happen before any work begins, and we don't expect you to underprice yourself to get started. To Apply Submit two to three writing samples most relevant to this work. B2B SaaS or healthcare email campaigns are weighted most heavily. Nurture sequences or multi-email campaigns are ideal. A brief note about your experience with email marketing strategy and your typical turnaround times is helpful. We read what applicants write, so treat your application message as a writing sample in its own right. We're a lean marketing team that moves quickly and communicates directly. If this sounds like the right environment for how you work, show us your work and tell us what you do best.
