We’re looking for an illustrator/animator to help us refresh a one-minute section of an educational motion comic for middle school students. You’ll be working from existing artwork and a creative brief, helping us make the sequence feel more polished, dynamic, and visually clear. That could include adding movement, improving transitions and pacing, rethinking on-screen graphics, and finding creative ways to make the science concepts easier to follow and more engaging for today’s students. This is a small pilot, but we’re also hoping to learn what a larger remaster process could look like. We’re looking for someone with strong visual instincts who is collaborative and comfortable experimenting. You should also be comfortable incorporating AI-assisted tools into your creative workflow where useful and appropriate.

I’m looking for a skilled video editor to create a polished, high-impact 20-second Meta video ad for an online storytelling course. This is not a talking-head video and does not require filming. The concept, copy, timing, brand direction, and overall structure have already been developed and will be provided to the selected editor. The ad will primarily feature bold kinetic typography, dramatic music, rapid text treatments/cross-outs, and a polished branded product reveal. Style I'm Looking For: Clean. Bold. Modern. Premium. The video needs to stop the scroll immediately without feeling like a cheap or overly aggressive internet ad. I'm looking for: • Strong kinetic typography • Bold sans-serif type • Clean, intentional animation • Fast, confident pacing • Music synchronized tightly to the visuals • Professional transitions • Excellent hierarchy and readability • A premium rather than gimmicky feel • Creative that works effectively with or without sound The brand palette is primarily deep navy, warm cream/white, and gold. The Creative The ad is built around a simple transformation: Frustration with conventional marketing advice → a surprising reframe → a bold storytelling message → product and offer reveal. The finished script, timing, brand assets, website reference, and detailed creative direction will be provided to the selected editor. I'm looking for an editor who can take a well-developed concept and elevate the execution through typography, pacing, movement, music, and polish. Deliverables • One finished approximately 20-second video • Square 1:1 format for Meta • High-quality MP4 export • Editable source/project file • Two rounds of revisions Who I'm Looking For Please apply only if you have experience with: • Short-form video advertising • Meta/Facebook/Instagram ad creative • Kinetic typography • Direct-response or product advertising I'm much more interested in simple strong typography, pacing, and advertising instincts than elaborate visual effects. When responding, please send 2–3 examples of work that are closest to this specific style. Please don't send a general showreel if possible—I specifically want to see short ads, kinetic typography, or direct-response creative. If this project goes well, there is potential for additional work, including a longer promotional/explainer video for the same product.

The project We are launching a software platform in the next 30 days and need our first marketing video. Roughly 60 to 90 seconds. This is the anchor asset for the whole launch: homepage, paid social, and organic. Style direction Motion graphics layered over screen recordings of the real product, with cinematic elements woven through. Clean typography, confident pacing, real interface moving on screen, and enough texture and light that it feels premium. The product serves a high end retail vertical, so the visual language needs to feel expensive. That is the bar. If it looks like a stock B2B software ad, we missed. What we provide Screen recordings, or access to a live demo environment Brand assets, logo, colors Script and messaging direction (positioning is already locked) Reference footage and photography for the cinematic layer Fast feedback, usually same day What we need from you Storyboard or animatic before full production Motion design, compositing, and edit Sound design and licensed music Final delivery in 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 Source files on delivery This is the first of several If the first video lands, we have four to six more planned through launch and after. We are looking for someone to grow into an ongoing relationship, not a single transaction. Who we are looking for We do not care what industry you have worked in. We care whether you can make something beautiful. If your background is commercials, music videos, title sequences, fashion, or product film, we want to hear from you. What matters is taste, craft, and the ability to make an interface feel like an object worth wanting. To apply Send 2 or 3 links to the best work you have ever made. Not the most relevant, the best. Tell us exactly what your role was on each. In one or two sentences: how would you make software feel expensive? Give your fixed price and turnaround for this first video. Skip the templated cover letter. We will know.

Overview: We're looking for a skilled motion designer/animator to create a seamless, looping animated banner for a building materials website. The concept involves fluid morphing of abstract lines and shapes, gradually forming recognizable structures (city skyline, bridge, highway, building), then dissolve back into abstraction before reforming into a new structure. The animation should feel continuous, with no hard cuts or jarring transitions. Rough, non-branded image examples are attached. Key Requirements: • Smooth, organic morphing transitions between abstract and representational forms (shape-to-shape, line-to-line) • At least 4-6 distinct "recognizable" shapes within the loop (e.g., skyline, bridge, road) • Seamless loop; the end state must flow back into the start with an approximate length of 15-30 seconds • Clean vector-based animation (no jitter or stepping artifacts during morphs) • Delivered in web-friendly format(s) • Banner will need to work specified dimensions/aspect ratio, which is TBD To Apply, Please Include: • 2–3 examples of previous work of similar style animations • Your typical turnaround time for a project of this scope • Estimated cost

We are looking for a talented **2D Motion Designer / Limited Animator** to help develop the next visual style for an established short-form horror channel. Our videos are approximately 60–75 seconds long and are published primarily on TikTok and YouTube Shorts. I have attached one of our existing videos as a reference. This video represents our current visual style and also includes our upgraded professional music and sound design. We are **not looking to completely replace the current identity**. Instead, we want to evolve it into a darker, more atmospheric and more polished 2D style. A major part of the new direction will be: * Strong shading * Dramatic use of light and darkness * Silhouettes * Deep shadows * Negative space * Atmospheric environments * Better depth and perspective * Subtle movement throughout scenes We especially like the **mood, contrast, silhouettes, and atmospheric shading found in games such as LIMBO**, but we are not looking to copy another game's art style. The final look should remain original and recognizable as our own brand. ### The Animation Style We are **not looking for expensive full frame-by-frame animation**. We are interested in limited 2D animation and motion design where specific elements of a scene move. Examples could include: * A character slowly turning their head * Someone walking through a hallway * A door opening or closing * A shadow moving in the background * A phone screen lighting up * Curtains moving * Lights flickering * A hand reaching toward an object * Slow camera push-ins * Parallax between foreground and background * Subtle character movement Some scenes may involve more movement than others. The goal is for the video to constantly feel visually alive without becoming overly complicated or cartoon-like. ### How Our Workflow Would Work We handle the concept, writing, voiceover, editing, captions, music, and sound design. For each video, you would receive: * The completed script * The final voiceover for timing and pacing * Scene direction * Existing character/style references * Examples of previous videos * Additional creative direction when necessary Your responsibility would be to turn the script into the illustrated and animated visual scenes. We will assemble the final video ourselves in CapCut. ### Deliverables For each video, we would ideally receive: * Individual numbered animated scenes * 1080 × 1920 vertical format * MP4 format * Approximately 30 fps * No captions * No narration * No music or sound effects baked into the clips * Static PNG/JPG artwork when appropriate For example: Scene_01.mp4 Scene_02.mp4 Scene_03.png Scene_04.mp4 This allows us to assemble and adjust the final pacing ourselves. Editable/source files such as After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator files are a plus, particularly if we begin developing reusable characters, environments, and visual assets together, but they are not required for the initial paid test. ### Opening Video Footage Our videos will often begin with a short real-video or realistic-video hook before transitioning into the illustrated/animated portion. We will generally handle this opening separately unless we specifically discuss otherwise. Your primary responsibility will be the illustrated and animated portion of the video. ### What We Care About Most We are looking for someone who is particularly strong at: * 2D illustration * Shading * Lighting * Atmospheric composition * Limited character animation * Motion graphics * Visual storytelling * Horror or suspense atmosphere We care more about **strong composition, shading, and atmosphere** than extremely complex animation. A simple scene with excellent lighting and subtle movement is much more valuable to us than a heavily animated scene that does not fit the brand. ### Paid Test This job begins with a **$200 paid test**. The purpose of the test is to find someone who could potentially become a long-term visual collaborator for the channel. If the test is successful, we currently expect to produce approximately **10–13 videos per month**. For ongoing production, we are targeting approximately **$150–$200 per completed video**, depending on the quality, complexity, workflow, and amount of reusable artwork we are able to develop together. We understand that pricing may evolve based on the final workflow and are interested in hearing how you would approach the project. ### When Applying Please send: 1. Your strongest 2D illustration work 2. Examples of 2D animation or motion design 3. Work demonstrating strong shading, shadows, or atmospheric lighting 4. Any dark, suspenseful, cinematic, horror, or game-inspired artwork 5. Examples of character animation if available 6. The software you normally use 7. Your typical price for this type of 60–75 second project 8. Your estimated turnaround time 9. Whether you would be interested in ongoing work of approximately 10–13 videos per month Please begin your proposal with **DON'T PANIC** so we know you read the entire description. We are especially interested in finding someone who can help us develop a consistent visual system over time rather than simply completing one isolated animation project.

We are preparing for IMTS 2026 and are looking for an experienced video editor / motion graphics designer to create a polished video loop that will run continuously on two large TV displays in our trade show booth. This will not be a traditional narrated corporate video. The strongest candidate will be able to create a consistent visual system that ties together footage, product renderings, typography, logos, messaging, and animated transitions. Because this will be viewed in a busy trade show environment, we prefer bold visuals and concise messaging over text-heavy slides. Please begin your proposal with the words "IMTS VIDEO" so we know you've read the complete project description. We have the core content and brand assets ready. Commitment: 30-40 hours/week to start (with opportunity to grow come on full time) Type: Contract with strong potential to convert to full-time Location: Fully remote About Mudflap Mudflap is changing the way truckers fuel across the country, and we're building a content engine that's just as bold as the people we serve. We're investing heavily in social content—from creator partnerships and authentic UGC to product education and brand storytelling. Our goal isn't to make polished corporate videos. We want content that feels real, entertaining, useful, and worth sharing. We're a small, collaborative marketing team that loves experimenting, moving quickly, and trying new ideas. If you've ever wanted to help define what a brand looks and feels like in motion—not just execute someone else's vision—this is that opportunity. The Opportunity We're looking for a talented Video Editor & Motion Designer who loves both fast-paced social editing and bringing products to life through animation. We are starting as a trial contract with hopes to turn it into full time. One day you might be turning raw creator footage into a TikTok that racks up views. The next, you'll be animating a new product feature, creating an onboarding tutorial, or helping establish the motion language that customers will associate with Mudflap. You'll have real creative ownership, work directly with our content and design teams, and help shape how one of the fastest-growing brands in trucking tells its story. What You'll Do - Edit approximately 5 short-form videos each week for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms. - Transform raw creator footage into engaging, scroll-stopping content with strong pacing, captions, sound design, and trend-aware editing. - Create product explainers, feature launches, onboarding videos, tutorials, and educational content. - Animate Figma designs, UI mockups, brand assets, icons, and illustrations using your preferred motion design tools (After Effects, Figma, Rive, Lottie, or similar). - Help establish how the Mudflap brand comes to life through motion—from transitions and UI animation to storytelling and visual style. - Collaborate closely with marketing, product marketing, and design to brainstorm ideas, iterate quickly, and continuously improve what's working. - Contribute creative ideas—we're looking for someone who wants to make the work better, not just check boxes. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience editing social-first, short-form video. Experience creating motion graphics, product explainers, tutorials, or animated marketing content. A portfolio that demonstrates both engaging social edits and thoughtful motion design. Excellent instincts for pacing, storytelling, hooks, captions, and visual communication. Comfortable working with both authentic UGC footage and polished product assets. Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, welcomes feedback, and enjoys moving fast. Reliable, organized, and excited by a steady stream of creative work. Bonus Points Experience with SaaS or product marketing. Familiarity with trucking, logistics, or blue-collar audiences. Illustration, character animation, or branding experience. Curiosity about AI-assisted creative workflows and new editing tools. Why You'll Love Working With Us Help define the motion identity of a growing brand—not just execute existing templates. Join a fun, collaborative team that values creativity, experimentation, and great ideas over hierarchy. Work on a wide variety of content, from viral social videos to polished product storytelling. Flexible, fully remote work with consistent weekly projects. Strong opportunity for this contract role to grow into a full-time position as our creative team expands. How to Apply Please include a link to your portfolio or reel showcasing relevant social/UGC edits. To confirm you've read this listing, please start your proposal with the word "FREIGHT CLUB."
