As our content team grows, we’re looking for a talented Video Editor who can help bring the Snoozy brand to life across social media, storytelling content, and paid advertising. We're looking for someone who understands modern content, moves quickly, and can turn raw footage into polished videos that stop thumbs and hold attention. RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit Short Form Content For: • TikTok • Instagram Reels • YouTube Shorts • Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram) • Other social and paid media channels • Occasionally edit longer-form content (approximately 4–5 minutes) centered around storytelling, challenges, or branded content • Take raw footage from multiple sources (iPhone footage, creator content, POV footage, event footage, etc.) and transform it into engaging, cohesive stories Assemble Clips Into Compelling Content Using: • Music • Sound design and sound effects • Titles and motion graphics • Captions/subtitles • Transitions • Pacing techniques • Visual effects and polish - Understand how to create content that captures attention within the first few seconds - Stay current on social trends, editing styles, memes, hooks, pacing, and platform best practices - Adapt edits for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency - Collaborate closely with the Snoozy team on concepts, feedback, revisions, and content direction - Organize project files and maintain efficient workflows for quick turnaround times - Bring creative ideas and editing suggestions to improve content performance QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong experience editing short-form social content and performance-driven ad creative • Ability to edit quickly without sacrificing quality • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and social content trends • Excellent storytelling instincts and pacing • Advanced editing skills including: Transitions, Motion graphics, Titles, Sound design, Text animations, Visual effects, Color correction/grading, Captions and subtitling • Ability to take a rough concept and quickly learn the Snoozy brand voice and style • Comfortable compiling multiple clips into a narrative-driven piece • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Detail-oriented with an eye for timing, humor, and internet culture • Self-starter who can take ownership and execute with minimal hand-holding BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience editing UGC and direct-response ad content • Experience with cannabis, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands • Motion graphics experience • Experience with content strategy and understanding why certain videos perform • Familiarity with current creator and platform trends WHAT SUCESS LOOKS LIKE: • Fast turnaround times • High-quality edits that feel native to each platform • Strong understanding of the Snoozy brand and voice • Content that feels current, entertaining, and engaging • Ability to consistently turn raw footage into polished stories people actually want to watch This role is ideal for someone who lives on the internet, understands what makes content work, and can blend creativity with execution. We're an agency looking to add a Video Editor on a monthly basis. We have 1-2 clients currently looking for video editing. Think CapCut shorts roughly 30 seconds - 1 minute long.
