I'm an editor and proofreader, specialising in academic writing, romance and horror. I also have experience with fantasy, science fiction, and mystery.
I'm communicative and diligent. I can handle both an ongoing work where you need me to help you polish up the chapters as you write, or a finished project where I have to check the whole book at once.
My usual turn-out time is 4 days for an 80k editing, 3 days for a 60k editing, and 3 days for proofreading. I can deliver work faster than that (within 24 hours for a 60k, and withing 35 hours for an 80k), but I charge extra for rushed work.
My rates are:
Editing: $65 for every 20k ($3.25 per 1k)
Proofreading: $40 for every 20k ($2 per 1k)
Extra charge for rushed work: $50
I'm willing to undergo a paid trial if needed.

Hi there,
I strongly believe you’re looking for me. Here’s why.
As a published author, including a 250+ page Master's Thesis, you can certainly say that I know how to research an academic paper. Besides, I’m an adjunct research expert who uses print resources, online resources, Google Scholar, and other sites. My expertise is in the social sciences, economics and law fields especially international law - but I am amenable to working in other fields (except STEM). I enjoy the research process so you would enjoy working with me. BTW, I'm a great writing coach as well as a terrific proofreader!
Just to answer a few of your queries
1.I’d love to do this project within 7-10 days
2.Of course I'd love to provide staged feedback so you know who's really working on your project.
3. My revisions aren’t limited ( I’ll help you a couple of times)
4. I use google docs mostly but i’d love to know your preference.
Looking foward to your reply.
John.

About Me
I am a global and passionate American writer and educator with a Master’s Degree in Political and Ethnic Conflict Resolution from King’s College London. I am currently focused on ghostwriting sociopolitical topics and teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to students preparing for university or entering the workforce, as well as ELA for K-12 youth. With extensive experience in higher education, research, and global analysis, I bring a nuanced understanding of cultural and geopolitical contexts to every project I take on.
My academic journey has taken me to prestigious institutions like the University of Maryland, the University of Manchester, and Arabic Language Flagship schools, where I developed skills in Arabic and cross-cultural communication. My work often focuses on the United States, Western Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, and South America.
Core Expertise
• Ghostwriting: Specializing in sociopolitical topics, historical analysis, and global issues.
• Content Writing: Article writing, journalism, and strategic communications tailored to client needs.
• Research & Analysis: Crafting research briefings, summaries, and insights using open-source intelligence methods.
• English Language Teaching: Experienced in teaching ESL to students of diverse ages and backgrounds, with a focus on confidence and fluency.
• Editing & Proofreading: Ensuring clarity, professionalism, and precision in academic, business, and creative projects.
Professional Highlights
• Worked for clients in cybersecurity, open-source intelligence, and advocacy, producing bilingual (English and Arabic) briefings and advising on social media strategy.
• Authored speeches and articles on political, human rights, and educational topics.
• Delivered research briefings for private intelligence agencies, focusing on global geopolitical conflicts, cybersecurity, and biometrics.
• Contributed to youth involvement in cybersecurity and public education programs on history, politics, and human rights.
A Multilingual Background
Growing up as a competitive figure skater, I taught skating to Spanish-speaking children, sparking my passion for cross-cultural education. I later worked with Mandarin-speaking ESL students, developing a deeper appreciation for linguistic diversity. My travels and studies have shaped my belief in building bridges between cultures to foster mutual understanding and societal growth.
Notable Sociopolitical Projects
• Cybersecurity: Youth-oriented content writing and open-source intelligence briefings on global security issues.
• Global Affairs: Articles on education and international relations in China, as well as research on Mandarin as a critical language.
• Middle East & North Africa (MENA): Analysis on Saudi Arabia’s economic and political shifts and monitoring Arabic-language social media activity for terrorism-related research.
• Africa: Briefings for a UN project on the Central African Republic, and strategies for combating biased news in Ethiopia.
A Commitment to Excellence
Whether crafting a compelling story, delivering sharp analysis, or teaching English to eager learners, I approach every project with precision, creativity, and a global perspective. I also bring experience working with AI, shaping it from a writer’s viewpoint. My passion lies in education, storytelling, and fostering meaningful cross-cultural communication.
Let’s collaborate to bring your vision to life. Feel free to reach out with your project ideas—I’d love to help!
