I am an experienced screenwriter who has written for television and film. I also worked as a camera assistant for a television show and in my free time like to volunteer at my local theater.

I'm great with most fiction writing, though I specialize in clean romances. The genres I do not work with are action/adventure (think rack 'em, stack 'em kinds of books), Scottish romance, chat stories (for role-playing games), most Westerns, and erotica. Anything else, I'm game. I love to stretch myself and take on a challenge, so I take on genres I might not otherwise - such as science fiction, fantasy, or historical fiction - due to time restraints or what I'm interested in at that moment. As of June 2021, I have been a top rated-plus freelancer here on Upwork. I take great pride in having achieved this rating, as it has been much work to get here. In May 2022, I was first put on a list of writers approved by the Fiction Profits Academy (or FPA), and currently remain on this recommended writers list. Over the last ten years, I have worked on various creative projects, including screenplays, a musical play, over 100 poems, articles, blog posts, reviews, and my project about a dysfunctional rock band from near-future Kenya (The Shenganiguns). I’ve been writing professionally and academically for the last thirteen years. I majored in English and Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I wrote film and music coverage for the school newspaper. I went on to write for a couple print magazines in Minneapolis, covering lifestyle, city life, and business news. I moved to Los Angeles to break into film and television writing. I worked for prominent writer and director Semi Chellas (Mad Men, American Woman, The Romanoffs) for many years as a development assistant. I helped with her script writing, editing, and formatting as well as casting and production decisions. I recently finished a re-write of a feature film that's in pre-production by 3311 Productions and I'm currently on commission writing a drama feature as well as a science fiction animated TV pilot. I've written an animated children's TV show that is in post-production as well as a feature film for the Hallmark Channel. I'm also working as a writer for several NPR local city affiliates, writing weekly news quizzes and crossword puzzles. In my past work as a journalist and my current work in film writing and development I’ve written on an incredibly wide range of topics and have become adept at researching subjects completely foreign to me. In 2018, with Bookabook Editions, I published the novel "Due pard": the story of two young offenders with very different destinies. In 2019 I published a short story in the collection of Milanese noir authors "Ladri a Milano, Volume II," Il Covo Editions. In the last few years I've gained a good professional experience as a ghostwriter, for different agencies, also through Upwork. The various work experiences gained over many years, my diverse cultural interests (Protohistory, Ancient and Medieval History, Aeronautics, Health, Sports...) have enabled me to be able to work in many areas, as an editor and, most importantly, as a ghostwriter. Writing has always been a passion of mine. As a child, I loved making up stories; I had an active imagination as a young girl. I never thought I could make a career out of writing, and I chose a different path when I entered college. In 2010 I moved from Queens, New York, to Orlando, Florida. I participated in the Disney College Program, thought hospitality was my calling, and decided to return to school for hotel management. After seven years in the hospitality industry, though, I realized this was not what I wanted to spend the entirety of my life doing. Before Covid-19, I worked in a preschool as an assistant teacher. I love working with children, but something was still missing from my life. No matter where I worked, I was unhappy and planning to leave within months. When my school closed in March 2020 to combat boredom, I started listening to crime junkies and watching hours of Dateline. I found what was missing in my life when my obsession with true crime began. It took a pandemic, but I figured out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life: share stories of victims and their murderers. Victims deserve to have their stories shared because no one deserves to lose their life at the hands of another. Murderers should have their stories shared so people realize not everyone is what they seem and not to be paranoid but be aware of who and what is around them. Now, I write full-time as my career.
