Hello! I am frontend developer from Croatia. I've been working in web development for over five years. Before I went freelance I have worked for some of Croatia's most prominent digital agencies. In that time I had the chance to work on some smaller (Ginetta - a British car manufacturer; Kjus - a sportswear brand; Fyv - NY based daycare), but also on a few high traffic web sites, such as - Coolinarika (the most visited culinary site in the region), RTL (their news portal and sites for their reality shows), Conforama (Europe's second largest home furnishings retail chain) and Emmezeta (Conforama's sister company for Balkan region), AirBaltic airline website... Recently I have completed work on a redesigned Caseking.de website (SFCC) and their sister companies - noblechairs.de, globaldata.pt, overclockers.co.uk (Spryker + Twig + SCSS + Typescript). I have oriented myself to be excellent in slice. Which means if you have a design that needs to be sliced, I am the droid you're looking for. I prefer that the design handoff is in Figma, but Sketch or InDesign are fine as well . Most of my dynamic web development is done via Symfony (a PHP framework with Twig as templating engine). If there is a need for JS (and most of the time there is) I mostly use vanilla JS or Typescript. I have also worked on several Vue 3 projects (allreal.ch, Zumtobel Sustainability, Vuebelle.ch). For any animations I use either CSS animations or GSAP (a JavaScript animation library). I also work with Craft CMS (Ginetta website, Allreal.ch). For pure static websites I use Hugo (combined with Forestry if needed). I have experience with the following CSS frameworks: Bootstrap 4 & 5, Tailwind and Foundation. But often frameworks like that are an overkill (especially for landing pages or just very small projects), in which case I am writing my own SCSS styles - this is also something I prefer to do in general, unless the client specifically wants to use a CSS framework.
