You’ve just finished your manuscript! Congratulations! Now it’s time to take that manuscript and turn it into a professionally edited, formatted and designed book that you can publish on your favorite platform such as Kindle Direct Publishing or similar. There's many steps involved from proofreading to hitting the "publish" button, and you want your book to be eye-catching, beautifully designed, a joy to read, perfectly formatted and thoroughly proofread and edited so that your book stands out from the crowd. I'm here to help. I'm a book designer and publishing consultant with a passion for helping my clients bring their work to the world. I have many years of experience in: ✔ Writing & Editing ✔ Graphic Design & Creative Direction ✔ Book/eBook Design & Formatting ✔ Online Book Retailing ✔ Project Management ✔ Working with people to bring their vision to reality You've written the book, now let me help you polish, package and publish it! I can get your book beautifully out into the world so that you can focus on your next book instead of babysitting your book through this process. Communication is my jam and your success is my priority. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜 𝗗𝗢: Editing Editing can be anything from finding and removing typos to a full "page one" rewrite, or turning blog posts into a book. It's up to you and what you need in your project! I am a published author myself as well as having years of professional writing and editing experience to contribute to your project. Cover Design An eye-catching cover is a must if you want your book to stand out from the crowd online or on bookstore shelves. As a (former) online bookstore owner, I have seen over the years what grabs people's attention, and as a (former) creative director I know how to capture the feel & voice of your book and convey that on the cover. Interior Design The book needs to look as nice on the inside as the outside, and be a pleasure to read so your readers want to come back for more. Little details make all the difference. Spoiler alert: typos, super tiny margins and crammed pages aren't it! My years of experience with typography and layout will ensure that your book looks beautiful both inside and out. Print Formatting The book is designed, but if it isn't formatted well, it will all fall apart when the book gets printed. I have a degree in Computer Science and extensive experience working with layout programs in addition to my experience formatting books of all types and sizes for print. I have prepped print projects from books to CDs to annual reports to magazines and everything in between. eBook Formatting If you're going to do an electronic version of your book, it will need to be formatted to exact specifications for Kindle or ePUB. My meticulous eye for detail and knowledge of these formats and platforms means that your book will look great and not riddled with weird formatting errors like so many books today. Who I Am: - A professional with years of experience - A great communicator - Detail oriented - Good with people - Funny. (Well, at least my kids think so.) - Committed to excellence A note on excellence. If you want the cheapest provider, I am not the right fit for you. If you want excellence combined with a great communicator and great partner in getting your book into the world, I'm your person. Let’s partner together to take your book from manuscript to reality.

My availability is Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm CST. My fee is also negotiable with the understanding that I have a full-time job, so I might not be available all the time. Feel free to reach out and message if you have any questions! While I primarily love Beta Reading, I'm also happy to do editing for your manuscript. I absolutely love books and the worlds they create. I'm a fast reader so I'm able to have a quick turnaround. I'm an avid reader and can find plot holes easily. I know my words only mean so much, but the reviews on my profile show that I'm willing and able to go above and beyond to do what you need to polish your manuscript. Relating to AI: I strongly believe that AI is a tool, and should never be used as a replacement. Using AI to help edit, or expand upon your own ideas, I understand. However, I personally do not support using AI to write books. So, I will not edit an AI written novel. Thank you for understanding. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would love to talk to you!
