Some illustrators learn their craft from tutorials. I learned mine from a 500-year-old tradition. I work in two disciplines: painterly children's book illustration and 2D game art. Both grow from the same root, classical fine art training at the National College of Arts, Lahore, where I studied painting techniques developed in the Mughal era.
