Batina has spent his engineering career designing and developing many projects in many different fields. He has dedicated himself to bringing the best engineering practices to his designs and in support of the projects and company objectives. Our Founder, William Batina has over 40 years of engineering and management experiences having been involved in hundreds of projects of all types and sizes.
He was the University Energy Manager at Pace University for 15 years where he was part of the Facilities Management Team, which managed about 90 buildings with over 2.8 million square feet of spaces. We completed over 300 renovation projects including the renovation of the main campus in Pleasantville NY USA. Batina was part of the interdisciplinary team which developed the specifications for the new resident halls of about 250,000 square feet each. The redevelopment project costs were about $ 110 million for the Pleasantville campus. An additional master plan development was also about $ 100 million for the main campus in New York City.
While Batina was the University Energy Manager at Pace University, he was responsible for the utility budgets. The annual budget for 4 campuses was about $ 10 million. He had to develop the budgets and then track the expenses and compare the utility bills to the budgets.
I was involved in all aspects of Energy Management from energy procurement to energy benchmarking , data analysis, budget development and monthly utility invoice payments, tracking and financial reporting. Over his career, he probably reviewed about 30,000 utility bills
I have extensive business knowledge and experiences. I am familiar with the standard business analysis statements of Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Income Statement, and Retained Earnings. I am an expert at creating Excel charts, performing data analysis and business forecasting.
