𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Most setups look fine on the surface. GA4 is installed, the Meta Pixel fires, Google Ads shows conversions. But underneath, 20-40% of actual conversions are disappearing - lost to ad blockers, ITP, browser cookie limits, and broken deduplication. Your algorithms train on incomplete data and you don't know it. I'm a conversion tracking and attribution specialist with a developer background. I fix measurement at the foundation level - I don't just configure tools, I understand why they fail and build setups that don't. Server-side infrastructure, custom dataLayer architecture, first-party data, proper deduplication, clean attribution. This is what accurate measurement actually requires. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝗧𝗠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗜: Moving measurement off the browser so conversions survive ad blockers, ITP, and cookie restrictions. Built on Stape/GCP with proper FBCLID persistence, deduplication keys, and Event Match Quality optimization - routinely above 8.0/10 EMQ. 𝗚𝗔𝟰 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁: Full event schema design, enhanced eCommerce, cross-domain tracking, custom dataLayer architecture, and GA4 Explorations. Not the default auto-event setup - a deliberate measurement plan built around your actual conversion path. 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: GCLID/FBCLID persistence, UTM integrity, multi-touch attribution, channel-level cost per acquisition, and diagnosing where credit is lost or misassigned. Offline conversion imports from CRMs (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce) to close the loop. 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: GCLID-based attribution, enhanced conversions via GTM or the API, and the tag architecture that gives Smart Bidding accurate signal to train from. 𝗣𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Meta Pixel health audit, server-side CAPI, deduplication validation, FBCLID/UTM persistence checks, and EMQ diagnosis. If your EMQ is below 7.0, I will find why and fix it. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝟭) 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗔𝟰/𝗚𝗧𝗠 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 + 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Client had 41.9% Unassigned traffic in GA4 and ROAS/CPA numbers nobody trusted. My audit found a duplicate Google Ads conversion tag live since January 2025 - inflating reported conversions 3.3x to 5.4x every month for 17 months - plus a missing checkout domain in Conversion Linker, Enhanced Conversions variable bugs, and a GA4 referral exclusion issue. Fixed every item, then ran the full migration with QA and a monitoring plan. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: 𝗨𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟰𝟭.𝟵% 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲% 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. 𝟮) 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼 (𝗔𝗨 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆): Built a full server GTM + Meta CAPI stack on Stape over a browser-only setup with no deduplication. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: 𝟴.𝟮/𝟭𝟬 𝗘𝗠𝗤, +𝟰𝟮.𝟵% 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 surfaced that native tracking had missed entirely. 𝟯) 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗕𝗼𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗹 (𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆): UTM contamination was misattributing conversions across the funnel. Fixed at the dataLayer level. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: 𝟳𝟭𝟲% 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗦 𝗼𝗻 $𝟰𝟮.𝟱𝗞 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟵𝟴𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝟰) 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮-𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗿 (𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴): 40-70 days of broken Google Ads conversion tracking running live - Smart Bidding training on corrupted signals for months. Rebuilt the architecture with GTM-direct firing to restore clean data. 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 Tracking: GTM (browser + server-side), Stape, GA4, Meta Pixel, Meta CAPI, Google Ads Conversion Tracking, Enhanced Conversions, Consent Mode v2 Attribution and Data: GCLID/FBCLID persistence, UTM attribution, cross-domain tracking, deduplication, first-party data, offline conversion imports, CRM attribution (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce) Reporting: Data Studio, GA4 Explorations, BigQuery, multi-touch attribution modeling Platforms: Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, WordPress, NextJS, GoHighLevel 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 Most tracking failures are not configuration problems - they are code problems. A checkout flow that strips UTM parameters. An SPA that doesn't fire pageviews on route change. A React app where dataLayer events run before the DOM is ready. These need JavaScript debugging, not GTM clicks. My developer background lets me trace issues to root cause instead of surface fixes - custom JavaScript for edge cases, custom dataLayer schemas for complex funnels, and API integrations when standard implementations fail. If your conversion data doesn't look right - or you're not sure whether it does - I'll audit your setup and tell you exactly what's broken and what it would take to fix it.
