Focused since 2022 on generative AI. I created MindRoot, an open source plugin-driven agent system with a fully customizable UI. Existing plugins for MindRoot enable knowledgebases, interactive video avatars with text-to-speech, commands that let agents query and update Supabase or MySQL, computer control by the agent, system and Python command execution, image and video generation, long workflows with supervised subtasks, reasoning, and more.
I started teaching myself programming around age eight. The last several years mainly focused on backend JavaScript, some TypeScript and Python (also related such as Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.), previous to that front-end JavaScript (some React, Vue.js, Three.js), before that C# (don't do MS anymore), etc. Over the years, some projects with simple C++.
Current focus is on my latest AI agent framework.

I'm a professional addict to building beautiful web apps & browser plugins. I use fancy modern open-source technology (like Ember.js and ES6), boosted by the power of innovative third-party services to create pixel-precise Apps with dynamic, feature-rich UI, predictable smooth UX, with virtually any imaginable user interactions feeling responsive and very «native». Built with quality-first approach, no compromises, componentized from tooltips and icons to drop-downs, select's, infinite image grids, charts, modals, dialog flows (wizards, on-boarding, guided tours), or even entire pages, or apps (of apps?) — all scalable and vector, highly future-proof, reusable and maintainable.
Today my focus is set on Ember.js, front-end and browsers in general, and my essential tool-kit primarily includes:
• Ember.js
— fanatic addiction to crisp and clean, ninja-precision, ideologically proper,
— declarative code, carefully component-ed into proper building blocks,
— shareable, reusable, atomic, maintainable, stable and fancy
• D3.js
— combined with ember super-powers, d3 can yield truly amazing results,
— but your code stays reusable and becomes shareable for no extra effort
• EcmaScript6 (ES6)
— strict code style, with latest best practices applied project-wide and
— secured by a simple and customizable set of tests and validators
• Many other tools
— CSS3, SCSS, HTML5, QUnit, Mocha, Node.js, Express.js,
— NVM, NPM, Bower, Broccoli, Grunt, Gulp, Phantom.js,
— Vagrant, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Developing, I squeeze full power out of integrations with many essential modern services: Github, Sentry, CircleCI, Slack, Facebook, Twitter, IFTTT, Maps, Notifications, all sorts of Mixpanels, Google Analytics, Intercoms. Service without public api? Can scrape, crawl, proxy and simulate :)
I am well experienced with true, full-time «remote», can work on the go, very mobile, have experience with rapidly growing multi-timezone teams and start-ups.
My path on the way to finally catching the «ember virus» started 10+ years ago and looked approximately like this:
- at first: qBasic - VB for App..s - VB# - C# - ASP.net & MSSQL
- and then: PHP & MySql & JavaScript (using since ES3)
- and also: Java, deep, as in open-source rewrite of the lineage2 game server:
-- buffers, thread managers, NIO, sockets, crypto, binary math, security;
-- async 2-way binary/packet comm protocols: zip'd, crypto'd, crc'd, efficient;
-- distributed mix of masters, hot data cached's, regional servers, clients;
-- model object with hundreds of members & diverse interactions;
-- all their data auto-in-sync with a push-notification-like system;
-- most fun soon repeated with C# and multi-character game trade-bot;
- and also: jQuery, ActionScript & Flash, Ext.js, MooTools, Prototype.js
- and some: C++, Delphi & WinApi, bits of ASM & .NET MSIL, occasionally
- and even: Forth, after it turned out perfect for scripting complex game quests
- and then: Node.js & Express, some Ruby and Rails, some Postgres and NoSQL
- and then: Backbone.js, Require.js, Grunt, SCSS, Bootstrap, Foundation, CoffeeScript
- and finally: Ember.js and ES6
- and, oh wow: here comes IPv6 and IoT
The Internet of Things hype has reached me as well: thousands manual, guide and RFC pages behind — IPv6 has been mastered, connectivity established, personal servers and virtual machines reconfigured, AR2 Drone charged & standing by, multiple more devices ready to join the party.
I never stop learning, spend a lot of time hiking, horse hiking, mountain climbing, hunting and off-road driving. I'm a beginner into electric guitar, and photography is also quickly becoming one of my primary hobbies.
Thanks for reading this far!

I’m a senior software engineer with 14 years of professional experience helping teams design and build complex, domain-heavy products—especially where correctness, performance, and long-term maintainability matter.
For nearly three years, I’ve been in a long-term engagement with Sympal, working deeply on orthodontic and dental software. This has involved sustained ownership of systems spanning 3D geometry, surface mapping, visualization, and domain-specific workflows. The work is not task-based or short-term—it requires careful technical judgment, close collaboration with domain experts, and long-term stewardship of the codebase.
Before Sympal, I worked as a lead software engineer on full-stack and cloud platforms, owning systems end-to-end from early architecture through production and ongoing iteration.
Clients tend to bring me in when:
• the problem is ambiguous or evolving
• the domain is complex (medical, scientific, spatial, data-heavy)
• they want a thinking partner, not just implementation
I work best in long-term engagements (20–30 hrs/week) where I can develop deep context and help guide technical direction over time.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
How I Work
I care deeply about building things well—both technically and product-wise.
That means:
• thinking through edge cases and downstream consequences
• making pragmatic architectural tradeoffs
• communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• writing code that someone else can confidently maintain
I’m detail-oriented, highly focused, and comfortable taking responsibility for outcomes. If a new tool, language, or approach meaningfully improves the product, I’m happy to learn and adapt.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Long-Term Experience: Sympal (Orthodontics)
At Sympal, I’ve been a core engineer on a production orthodontic platform for nearly three years. My work has included:
• 3D geometry and surface operations
• projection and mapping of 2D data onto 3D anatomical models
• visualization and interaction tooling
• complex, domain-specific workflows requiring high correctness
• iterative refinement based on real-world usage and edge cases
This role has required sustained collaboration with orthodontists and other domain experts, careful technical decision-making, and long-term ownership of evolving systems.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Core Strengths
• systems thinking and architectural judgment
• navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements
• high-quality, maintainable implementations
• rapid understanding of complex domains
• clear, thoughtful technical communication
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Technical Background (Selected)
I have over 14 years of professional experience developing desktop, embedded, and full-stack web applications.
Languages and Platforms:
• TypeScript / JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Java, SQL
• AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Kinesis, relational databases)
• Node.js, React, Docker
Relevant Experience:
• full-stack and cloud architecture
• visualization and graphics (OpenGL, WebGL, Three.js, Blender)
• data-heavy and workflow-driven systems
• performance-sensitive and embedded environments
(Full technical history available below.)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
A Bit About Me
I have a B.S. in Computer Science and an artistic background, having also studied Music Composition. I enjoy building software that’s thoughtful, intuitive, and well-crafted.
Outside of software, I’m involved in music and the arts, sports, and motorcycling, which helps keep my thinking creative and well-rounded.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Engagement Preferences
• long-term, part-time engagements (20–30 hrs/week)
• product-oriented teams and founder-led companies
• complex technical or domain-specific problems
• clear communication and mutual trust
