I am looking for a writer to create german and english content for a client of our agency. Our agency is a small branding and design agency in Germany (in Meersburg and Berlin). Our client is an international special wire rope manufacturer (verope). As a first project we would like to hire you as a freelance writer for our clients quarterly (printed) Newsletter. In the past the articles were written by either us or our client - both of these options were never really effective for us and the quality of the text was lacking. We have been working for this client for over 10 years now and would like a longterm writer that is familiar with the client for different content areas (Catalogs, Flyers, News on Website, Newsletter, etc) Our ideal workflow for would be: - Either we get a rough text (this could be english or german) from our client. You polish these texts up and translate to german or english (so we have both languages) - Alternatively you have a short 10-15 minute phone interview with our clients about the featured topics. You take notes - and write an article around this. These interviews would be sheduled together with you and our client. You will not have to be available without a prior shedule. Let me know if you have any questions. Best regards Chris

I need 100 slow cooker recipes that can be cooked with simple cooking equipment. Each recipe should have the basic components: - Ingredients List and their Quantities (in weight or in units etc) - How to cook the dish ie step by step instructions. The 100 recipes should be distributed as such: 20 recipes - starters, appetizers & entrées 20 recipes - soups 40 recipes - main course (10 on beef, 10 on seafood, 10 on chicken and 10 on lamb) 20 recipes - desserts I don't expect each recipe to be complex hence keep each recipe simple and straightforward. Specific instructions as follows: 1. Recipes must be original. I'll put the document through copyscape and other similar softwares to check for originality. The contents should be researched through the local library and not from the internet. 2. Use font type Calibri, size 11 for the writing, 1 recipe per page. 3. Do not use bullet points, simply hit 'enter' and use a new line for each step in the cooking process. 4. Do not decorate the page with fanciful borders. I want the document to be simple and professional. 5. Suggest sending me 1-2 recipes when available to test if that's what I want. Payment will not be made if work does not comply to instructions of does not meet my requirements. Rates are negotiable. Thank You.

Important: DO not BID if you will not use 100% Human Translation... Hello there, We are a translation company operating for 10 years already, with clients that include Microsoft and Nokia. We need a contractor who will REVIEW 1 hour worth of English texts into Ilonggo. The non-negotiable budget for this project is US$6. The project is ready to start asap. In order to qualify, you must be: 1) a native Ilonggo speaker--OR, have your own native Ilonggo translator(s) whom you will pay yourself using the payment you will receive from this project. 2) You must also be ONLINE on Skype as often as possible--and AT LEAST DURING THE JOB. This is so we can check on your status. 3) Sign our contract of collaboration which will protect all parties. 4) Be willing to provide post-delivery quality assurance support to the client pertaining to the output you will deliver. We are looking for dedicated, experienced and honest providers as this could be the start of a long term collaboration. ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT Notes BEFORE BIDDING: 5) 100% HUMAN TRANSLATION ONLY. All translations must be done by humans. Contractors are forbidden from using Machine Translation (such as Google Translate, Systran or Babel) in any way and for any purpose. We know how to detect work done by automated translations and will NEVER PAY for any such jobs. 6) NO "BAIT and SWITCH" PRICING TACTICS. Once we select you among other bidders, you must not change your bid price. As a goodwill step, we transparently show snippets of the actual source file, so that you will have a clear understanding of the work. We never change files, so you shouldn't also change your bid. If you do this we will not hesitate to refer you to Upwork for investigation. 7) NO UPFRONT. Sorry we don't pay upfront or deposit, simply because our own clients never pay us any upfront. Just check our stellar track record to see the positive feedbacks our providers have left for us. 8) UPWORK PAYMENT ONLY - Sorry, no payment outside oDesk. We pay through oDesk, and only through oDesk. We pay according to agreed terms and after our client confirms that no quality issues remain with the job. 9) No "personal emergency" excuses. Please be professional and complete the work. If we award you the oDesk job and you accept it...then you bail out due to some flimsy reason, we will refer you to oDesk for investigation and possible suspension. 10) NO PAYMENT for MISSED DEADLINE. - 1 hour delay means you will no longer be paid for the job. Don't accept a job if you can't meet the deadline. All our deadlines are fixed. Bottomline - Let's be professional and do an honest job. ~~~~~BY BIDDING on this job you hereby CONFIRM that you READ the above stipulations and AGREE to obey them fully.~~~~~ Thank you Proscript Consulting

I need help editing and proof-reading a scientific article for grammar and typos (you don't need to check it for scientific correctness). Article name: Geochemical distribution and fate of arsenic in water and sediments of rivers from the Hokusetsu area, Japan. Topics: Arsenic, geology, geochemistry Length: about 6300 words I will email you the entire article once you are hired for the job, but here's a sample: --- Group C is at the intersection of the contaminated waters of group A and low-As waters of group B. The samples of this group were without serious anthropogenic SO42- inputs and showed a mild As contamination. The map of Fig. 5 compares the δ34S values (as ‰CDT) of dissolved SO42- selected riverwaters with the δ34S values of rock sulfides; the data comprise results from this study and results from Ito et al. (2003). Fig. 6 plots these values against dissolved SO42- concentrations, and shows a decreasing trend in δ34S as the water chemistry is influenced by mineral dissolution. --- Please include the word "giraffe" in your reply just so I can be sure you've read the entire job posting :) Thanks!
