We are looking for someone to help us refine a list of the machine components, subcomponents, sub-sub components, and smaller parts for a CNC machine tool.
The idea for this information is it will be used to more accurately identify the machine components that will be worked on during maintenance procedures.
The information for each list should be more general in nature - such as spindle, bearing, x-axis, etc. We would not need to know the make, model, or size of the components, subcomponents, and smaller parts - just that the machines have them.
Our goal is to be able to walk up to a machine and select from each picklist so our report builds out to read something like:
Sub Component: X-Axis
Smaller Parts: Seal
It is not important to know more than that.
Parts common to these CNC swiss-style machines would be things like X-Axis, Y-Axis, Ball Screw, Bearing, Spindle, Lubrication System, Motors, etc.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in structuring component lists and someone familiar with mechanical component structures, electrical component structures. They may also have experience with ISO standards for component lists for mechatronic equipment.
We can provide the original list we are working from and further explanation of what we would like refined.
The goal is to turn this around in less than 1 week if possible.
