Our company makes a client/server enterprise software product that requires two separate SQL Server databases – the “primary database” and the “synonym database” - in order to run. These databases are created separately, using separate Inno Setup installation programs. The installer for the primary database is already complete. We need someone to create the synonym database installer for us, using our existing code for the primary database installer as a starting point. The installers are fairly similar. The major differences between them are: 1) Both installers collect similar information before performing the installation: server name, login information, and the name of the database to be created. However, the synonym database installer must also collect the name of the existing database that the synonyms will point to. You’ll need to alter the GUI accordingly. We’ll provide mockups of what we’d like to see. 2) Both installers run a number of SQL scripts in sequence....

I developed a stored procedure to send an email message after an insert/update to a SQL Server database table. The procedure is called from a trigger on the table and uses Database Mail with a SendGrid smtp server and the sp_send_dbmail procedure. The email message is generated from specified data from the database tables. This database was migrated to an Azure SQL database which does not support Database Mail or the sp_send_dbmail procedure, therefore the procedure to send the email message is not functional. From research I have learnt that a Worker Role can handle this operation on an Azure SQL database's table. I need a worker role (with a service bus queue if necessary) developed to send the generated email message after a row have been inserted in the table or after a particular field has been updated. This solution should be able to be replicated if I need to extend this functionality to other tables in the future. Other solutions can be proposed if a worker role...

I have 2 aspdotnetstorefront stores that I want transferred to the current version of MS SQL Web and to MS Windows Server 2012 R2. I want to move the hosting to Amazon AWS. I have 1 server hosting the DB in Sql express. I have another smaller server with IIS hosting the front end of the website. For this website I would like it moved, you can set up a front end and back end server on AWS if that is what you suggest. On this server I also have a DB of time tracking software we use internally that needs to be transferred and set up properly. The other server I have is closed and I only have access to ftp files and the database backup will be provided by aspdotnetstorefront themselves. We will have to move the DB to the new server and also move the front end files accordingly to set this up. What is very important is that the websites are all working properly on a dev site before we switch the mx records to point to the new location. For the above we don't need anyone...
