This would be an on-going position. The person chosen to fill this position must be willing to consider a long term relationship with the firm. Additionally, the candidate must be detail oriented and appreciate fine accuracy in their work. Last, it will be extremely important that the candidate speak clear english so that I can understand our conversations. I only speak english.
The work to be completed will be a list of daily tasks as well as case specific tasks. These tasks include E-Filing Documents with the courts in Missouri, Creating Client Matter Documents from Templates the firm has created, Checking the e-fax and emails, downloading documents from e-fax, the Missouri Courts e-filing system, and Clio and uploading them into the correct client files in Clio, Data entry and documentation into client files, entering court dates into attorney calendar, sharing documents and bills with clients on Clio.
Experience with working in family and/or criminal law would be helpful as there will be less training time required.
Basic understanding of litigation and the lingo of litigation is a must.
The ability to think outside of templates if necessary and create documents and letters when given basic instructions from a lawyer would be an ability given first consideration for this position.
