This includes our on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments. The purpose of this contract is to setup Zabbix 7 in our Environment. Our environment is predominately Windows based. We run physical Windows 2019/2022 servers as well as virtual servers using Microsoft Hyper-V. We also have some Linux based (Ubuntu) servers but those are very limited. We also have approx. 40 Windows 11 Desktops. Contractors will be provided with SSH as well as http/https access to the Zabbix server via a Public IP. Note: Geographic IP restrictions are in place. All contractors will need to provided their Public IP to Seradex in order for access to be granted. We encourage contractors to review the proposal and if there are recommendations on deployment options, setup etc, we are open to discussions to help fully determine the scope of work. The project will consist of the following. 1. Install Zabbix 7 a. Ubuntu Distro (unless a compelling reason to not use it is identified and explained to Seradex). b. Nginx (unless a compelling reason to not use it is identified and explained to Seradex). c. Static IP internal address (will be provided at start of contract). d. All necessary configuration options related to the operating system and Zabbix to ensure proper ongoing operation supporting i. 10+ Physical servers. ii. 40+ virtual servers (mix of Microsoft Hyper-V and Ubuntu) iii. 40+ Windows 11 operating systems iv. Router (pfsense) v. Switches (approx. 5 devices) vi. Needs to hold 1 year of historical data (please recommend disk size, ram and CPU for that data) 2. Provide modified MSI file(s) to suit our environment to support the auto deployment of the active agent to both the Servers and desktops (Windows). 3. Setup Auto registration for the 2 GPO mentioned above using the Windows HostName. Registration will be done to one group unless a reason to split them up is identified. 4. Setup 3 administrative accounts on top of the default account. 5. Setup 1 account that will allow viewing of select dashboards. a. This phase of the project will consist of the default dashboard. b. The contractor will provide instructions on how to setup a new simple dashboard and then ensure that the 1 account is able to access this dashboard in a read only capacity. c. The idea of this dashboard is to provide our users the ability to “view” the dashboards in Zabbix but to not allow any changes. 6. Setup Emailing of Reports/Alerts for the 3 administrative accounts mentioned above a. Do not utilize default groups. Instead create new ones and set parameters inside there 7. Customization of the email alerts for events as specified in attached Excel Document a. Disaster – Email every 1 hour until resolved b. Warn – Email every 1 week until resolved c. Other – No email, but still logged on the Zabbix portal We are open to advice and suggestions on how to best format this system. The ultimate goal we wish to achieve is an alert system that does not spam us. Currently our Zabbix 6 instance does this, resulting in it being largely ignored. Contractors need to review the attached excel file which lists our desired monitoring rules/actions/templates. Contractors must be able to effectively communicate to Seradex how they are going to setup and organize the installation of Zabbix to achieve the goals. All our “rules” listed in the excel file are conditional depending on if a particular application is installed. For example, we would like to be notified if MySQL is not running. However, only if MySQL is actually installed on that particular machine. Our goals are to monitor and store metrics for our networks while alerting the IT team of items that require their attention but remove all excess (noisy) alerts. I want to initiate a gradual migration to Microsoft 365, starting only with my account, without disrupting the current workflow for other users in the company. Primary Objectives: Set up my administrator account on Microsoft 365: Create and configure my account with Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Configure Copilot to analyze and optimize the emails I receive. Email migration (only for me): Set up my new Microsoft 365 account to receive all company emails currently managed through local Outlook installations. Keep the current system (local Outlook for all other users) intact, without interrupting their email access.
