There are many best practices on how to do a better organization: SOLID, composition over inheritance, less coupling more cohesion, using design patterns etc. I know most of it and have an experience using them, so now I don’t just use complex stuff for the sake of it, but apply what’s needed where needed I am also a fan of keeping quality and performance in check, so I would use Crashlytics, Sentry, MetricsKit to log errors, collect metrics and keep an eye on crashes Not 100% of the time, but more and more I use TDD to do faster initial implementation through a short feedback loop, and also to be more sure that I don’t break anything during refactoring later I’ve also come across many very hard-to-debug issues in my career, so I had to become better at debugging. I like to use Instruments like Profiler to find inefficient CPU usage. I also usually prepare logging in advance so that when user has an issue and we can’t reproduce it locally, we could get as much information from them as we can without asking them 10 times.
