    My writing experience covers everything from the scientific to the literary register. As a political analyst I have written many condensed reports of broad developments on the national and international scale. In academia, I have drafted numerous literature reviews and written dozens of papers ranging from theoretical to methodological to literary analyses. While the majority of my research and writing experience has been in English, I am comfortable working in Russian and can do intermediate translation work in French and Italian. Much of my work as a political analyst entailed the use of several languages, including those adjacent to the ones I know well. Due to my deep knowledge of the histories, cultures, and geopolitical particularities of the world, my translation work is able to capture the nuances of language often lost in literal interpretation. Only a close awareness of culture and history can offer a translation that avoids awkward and imprecise results. Thus far my work in social science research has focused on multivariate regression analyses in SPSS. In particular, I used logistic regression analysis to study the onset of militarized disputes between states. I have also applied similar methods to study the effects of backgrounds of state leaders on conflict onset. In graphic design, I am most acquainted with vector art, which lends itself well to a modern, minimalist style for logos. Vector art designs also make excellent infographics which are often a vital visual aide in presenting data.
