I manage the administrative, financial, and operational backbone of a last-mile logistics company. On the administrative and finance side, I handle supplier invoices in Odoo, payroll preparation, tax and social filings, payment follow-up, and day-to-day communication with public institutions and external stakeholders such as social security authorities, tax authorities, health insurance and pension funds, occupational health services, labor inspection, and business support organizations. I also prepare and defend administrative files from scratch when needed, including payment plan requests, public aid applications, and tender-related documentation. This includes both the technical side of filing and the follow-up required to move a case forward with the relevant institutions. I also took over the company’s internal accounting and financial follow-up using Odoo’s Accounting module. I process supplier invoices, monitor the payment of recurring operating expenses such as fuel, rent, mechanical work, and vehicle parts, and coordinate with an external accountant for year-end review and closing. On the customer side, I review monthly invoicing, check whether penalties are justified based on unresolved claims, track delivered parcel volumes in internal reporting files, and analyze turnover, margins, cost structure, and break-even levels. More broadly, I’ve built a hands-on finance and reporting function around the business: monitoring delivery performance by driver, tracking sorting staff hours, reviewing profitability, and producing operational and financial analyses to support decisions. Because the business is operationally intensive, my role also extends well beyond back-office administration. I coordinate with transport partners, receive inbound parcel transfers, plan driver routes, track claims and delivery issues, and work directly with drivers, recipients, and clients to resolve lost parcel cases, wrong-address deliveries, and other service failures while minimizing penalties.
