Overview Intrigue Studios is a New York-based video production company working with mid-size and national brands. Our work spans TV and social commercials, documentary-style brand films, testimonial videos, and ongoing content systems for brands running high-volume social and digital programs. This is a part-time freelance position with guaranteed recurring hours — not project-to-project work. The right person grows into a full-time role as our client base expands. We're at that stage now. The Role This position has two layers. Some of the work is foundational — rough cut assembly, footage organization, sync work, and preparing timelines for finishing. That's part of the job, especially early on. The rest is primary editing — taking a brief and producing a polished, client-ready cut. Pacing decisions, story structure, B-roll integration, music, titles, and delivery. How much time you spend at each level depends on your capability. An editor who can produce clean, confident work independently moves into the primary editing role faster and takes on more of it. Someone who needs more direction stays closer to the foundational work until they've earned the trust. We drive the creative direction. You execute it — and eventually, you anticipate it. What You'll Be Editing Monthly Content Systems — Recurring editing work under a monthly production retainer. Structured, repeatable workflows producing batches of social and website video assets for the same brand on an ongoing basis. This is the core of the current workload. Social Media Promos — Short-form cuts for Instagram, Facebook, and digital placements. Aspect ratio flexibility (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) is standard. Testimonial Videos — Interview-style cuts with B-roll integration, built for websites, social, and sales use. Explainer and Product Promo Videos — Longer-form, conversion-focused content with clear structure and messaging hierarchy. TV and Social Commercials — Broadcast-ready and digital cuts, sometimes requiring multiple spec deliverables. Brand Film Edits — Documentary-style brand stories, typically 2–5 minutes, blending interviews, B-roll, and music. Required Skills - Adobe Premiere Pro — proficient and fast. Slow editors don't work on deadline-driven client projects. - Strong editorial instincts — pacing, rhythm, knowing what to cut and why - Experience with interview and testimonial footage - Ability to work from a brief with minimal back-and-forth - Consistent communication and reliable turnaround Desired Skills (Move You to the Top) - Motion Graphics — Lower thirds, title cards, text animation. Clean and intentional. - Adobe After Effects — Compositing, motion work, Dynamic Link workflows - Color Grading — Lumetri competency at minimum. DaVinci Resolve is a plus. - Sound / Audio — Dialogue cleanup, music mixing, broadcast-level leveling. Not looking for a dedicated mixer — just someone who finishes the job properly. What to Include in Your Proposal Generic proposals won't get a response. Tell me: - What types of content you've edited most and where you're strongest - Which bonus skills you have and at what level — be specific - Links to 2–3 samples. Testimonial cuts, social promos, or commercial work preferred. Range matters. - Your typical turnaround on a short social cut (under 60 seconds) - Your desired hourly rate and weekly availability Who This Is For - Editors who are fast, confident, and don't need their hand held on execution - Someone who wants stable, recurring work — not gig-to-gig uncertainty - A collaborator who takes direction well, asks smart questions, and holds themselves to a high standard - Someone looking to grow — this position has a real path to full-time for the right person

## Shopify Homepage Hero Video Editor for Beverage Brand We are looking for a skilled video editor / motion designer to create a short homepage hero video for our Shopify website. Our brand sells an organic guayusa energy drink made from cold-brewed whole guayusa leaves. We need a polished, premium hero video that can sit at the top of our Shopify homepage and immediately communicate the feel of the brand. This is not a long ad or social media video. We need a clean, website-ready hero video that feels premium, natural, and performance-oriented. The final video should feature our product can and/or 12-pack in a way that feels realistic and elevated. We are looking for something that feels more like a premium beverage website hero section — not a basic slideshow or Canva-style animation. ## Project Goal Create a short looping hero video for our Shopify homepage. The video should help communicate: * Organic guayusa energy drink * Plant-brewed energy * Zero sugar * Clean, calm focus * Natural but still performance-oriented * Premium beverage brand feel ## Style Direction We want the video to feel: * Premium and modern * Clean and natural * Realistic, not overly animated * Suitable for a beverage / wellness / energy brand * More elevated than a basic product slideshow * A balance between premium wellness and energy drink performance We do not want anything that looks cheap, generic, overly flashy, or like a template. ## What We Will Provide * Product can images and/or renders * Brand colors and logo * Existing website direction * Current product positioning and messaging * Examples of video styles we like * Any available product/lifestyle assets If needed, we are open to using high-quality stock footage as part of the final video, as long as it fits the brand and looks natural. ## Deliverables Please provide: * Desktop hero video version * Mobile hero video version * Web-optimized MP4 file * Optional WebM version if available * Static poster/thumbnail image for the video * Editable project file if possible The video should be short, likely around **8–15 seconds**, and designed to loop smoothly on the homepage. ## Important Notes You do not need access to our Shopify account. We only need the final video assets created. We will upload the video to Shopify ourselves. We are not looking for someone to redesign the full website. This project is only for the homepage hero video asset. ## Budget This is a fixed-budget project. Our maximum budget is **$500**, so please only apply if you can complete the project within that range. ## Requirements Please apply only if you have experience with one or more of the following: * Website hero videos * Product video editing * Beverage, food, supplement, wellness, or CPG brands * Ecommerce video assets * Motion graphics * Product compositing * Shopify homepage videos * Short-form brand videos Please include examples of product videos, website hero videos, or ecommerce video work you have created. ## Screening Questions 1. Please share examples of website hero videos or product videos you have created. 2. Have you worked with beverage, food, supplement, wellness, or CPG brands before? 3. Can you create both desktop and mobile versions? 4. Can you make the final video web-optimized for fast Shopify loading? 5. Do you work only with assets provided, or can you also source appropriate stock footage if needed? 6. What would your approach be for creating a premium homepage hero video for an organic energy drink?

Company Description sojo provides amenities for vacation rentals — but we're not just a product company. We're the vacation rental industry's first amenity automation platform, and a B2B SaaS company operating at the intersection of product, tech, and logistics. We connect directly to property managers' reservation calendars to automate guest amenity delivery — think welcome bundles, toiletry kits, custom-branded coffee packaging, and snack bags waiting for guests when they walk through the door. We handle everything from sourcing products to custom packaging design to making sure the right products are packed and shipped on time for every single reservation. It's a pretty cool thing to tell stories about. Role Description We're building out our video production capability and need a skilled editor who can handle a growing pipeline of content — from polished case study videos to punchy social reels. This role is a great fit for someone with a strong eye for pacing and storytelling who's equally comfortable cutting a 10-minute client interview into a 30-second reel and producing a polished explainer from scratch. Here's what you'll be working on: - Client Case Studies. Video components to live alongside written case studies on our website — polished, story-driven, and sales-ready. - Social Reels. Cut existing long-form client interviews down into tight, high-impact reels for Instagram and LinkedIn. - How It Works Video. We'll script it — you help us execute and bring it to life. - Paid Ad Creatives. Short-form video assets optimized for paid social. - Ongoing Social Content. A regular cadence of reels and short-form video for organic social. What We're Looking For - Strong editing fundamentals — pacing, cuts, sequencing, and storytelling. - Social-native — you know how to edit for Reels: hooks, captions, retention. - Comfortable with motion graphics, lower thirds, and animated text. - Sound design chops — music selection, mixing, VO cleanup. - Able to work from provided footage *and* occasionally source or lightly direct when we don't have raw assets. - Bonus: Experience with testimonial or B2B case study video content. - Responsive, reliable, and able to turn around projects quickly. - Familiarity with Air, Notion, Slack, and Figma a plus. To Apply Share your reel or portfolio — bonus points if you include an example of a social cut from a longer interview. Include a note on your turnaround time and your rate.
