We are seeking an experienced Christian ghostwriter to help complete and strengthen a faith-based nonfiction manuscript. The manuscript currently contains seven chapters, with the possibility of expanding to eight or nine chapters. A significant portion of each chapter has already been written. For each assignment, we will provide: * The existing chapter draft. * An approximately 20-minute audio recording containing additional thoughts, teaching, stories, or context. * Direction regarding the chapter’s central message. Your role will be to thoughtfully combine the written chapter and recorded material into one cohesive, well-developed chapter. We need someone who can understand the author’s intended point, organize the content clearly, preserve the author’s voice, and develop the material without adding unnecessary filler. No more than 3500 words per chapter unless deemed necessary to go over 3500 words. Because this is a Christian book, the writer must be experienced incorporating relevant Scripture to support key teachings, theological points, and faith-based principles. Scriptures should be used accurately, naturally, and within their proper biblical context. The writer should not introduce personal theological interpretations that are inconsistent with the author’s message. **Ideal Candidate** * Experienced Christian or faith-based ghostwriter. * Strong nonfiction, teaching, or inspirational writing experience. * Able to turn spoken thoughts into clear, compelling written content. * Skilled at expanding partially written chapters while maintaining the author’s voice. * Knowledgeable in Scripture and able to identify relevant biblical support. * Able to organize ideas and create a coherent flow. * Responsive, dependable, and able to meet short project deadlines. * Comfortable signing an NDA. **Project Details** * Approximately 7–9 chapters * Existing content is already available for each chapter. * Approximately 20 minutes of additional recorded content per chapter. * Pay: $50 per hour. * Short-term project with the possibility of future work. **To Apply** Please include: 1. A brief description of your Christian or faith-based ghostwriting experience. 2. Two or three relevant writing samples, preferably Christian nonfiction, teaching, ministry, leadership, memoir, or inspirational content. 3. An explanation of how you approach incorporating Scripture into a chapter. 4. Your availability to begin. 5. Confirmation that you are willing to sign an NDA. Applications without relevant writing samples will not be considered. Selected candidates may be asked to complete a paid sample assignment before being hired for the full manuscript.

I am writing my first novel and need assistance with editing and ghostwriting to enhance the flow. I need chapters broken up into shorter chunks, character introduction help, moving around of flashbacks so they spread out in a good flow throughout the novel. The novel is a crime/detctive style with a heavy romance theme. The goal is for this to be the first book in a long series so I hope to find a partner here that I can hire for long-term coloboration if I can find an agent and a publisher. I also want help with writing a query letter and and a synopsis so I can use those to find an agent. The novel and the series are set in San Antonio, TX so a familiarity with the area is a plus. I am a Christian so my book does not have cursing or sexual content in it and my plan is for that to never be in any of my books. Info on me: I am a first-time novelist that hopes to find an agent and publish my first book by my 50th birthday (December 2027) and hopefully publish 2-4 a year after that. I am a Christian so I want my books to stay clean and eventually I might tilt them more towards a spiritual side, but my first book introduces the main character and he is angry with God because of what happens to his family while he is on a trip. My budget for this book is $750-1400 depending on what the hired person provides. I have 6 learning disabilities, but I still earned a Master's in Christian Education and I currently run my own company. The point is, my brain works a little different than most people so I need someone that can find the errors I make along with changing things so they flow better. I am very driven and truly believe I will be able to write 20+ books if I can find the right agent and possibly a co-writer. Coming up with intricate stories is my specialty, but I need help with getting them on paper in a manner that will make me top seller. I know my weaknesses and hope to find a partner that excels where I am weak. Book details This is the first book in a series I hope to get published by a big 5 publisher. I will hand you a completed manuscript and would like you to edit it and make it ready to be published. My weaknesses are the descriptive aspects like proper character and scene introductions so that is why I want an experienced ghostwriter. I also need things cleaned up so they flow better and will need you to turn longer chapters into shorter ones. About 30% or so of the book are flashbacks so I need you to spread my flashbacks (that is where most of the romance and heartbreak happens in book 1) around so they flow well and are not front-loaded. Right now, 75% of the flash backs are at the beginning of the book because it was easier for me to write it that way. If you have the experience of writing a query letter and synopsis then I would like you to also include that cost in your proposal. I would love for the book to take on a suspenseful tone and I have tried to do that, but I am still learning how to write this genre. Long-term goal is to find a collaborator (maybe you) to help me with 20-80 books over the next 20-30 years. Some books will be from this and other series I want to write and others will be stand-alone thrillers. If I am successful then my collaborator will be well-paid and even has the chance of being a credited co-writer if they so choose. Target audience Romance and mystery lovers college age and up that like clean, romantic thrillers. The main character is a college professor and several characters are college students so my goal is to attract readers 18 and above. Main Characters College professor that is a former detective and chess star Nurse that is a former theater/speech star 2 college students that will eventually fall in love many books down the line- goal is to write 1-2 series off of them similar to what Jeffrey Archer did with his two long series There is also a Mexican drug cartel and their ruthless leader, a westside San Antonio biker gang, some restaurant owners, some useless detectives and a few professors and other less involved characters

I'm a Black founder and CEO building AI-powered workforce infrastructure for public-sector programs in California. I'm launching a Substack and LinkedIn thought leadership practice focused on AI, workforce ecosystems, and clean energy policy — areas where I have deep field expertise and a delivered platform (Matchpoint, LA County). I need a fractional content partner who can: — Conduct biweekly recorded conversations with me (30–45 min on Zoom) and turn them into polished essays and LinkedIn posts in my voice — Manage the full content calendar across Substack and LinkedIn — Set up and manage scheduling automation (Buffer or Hypefury) — Send me a content brief for approval before drafting anything — Deliver drafts in Google Docs with comments flagging places where specificity or voice could be stronger — Send a monthly one-page performance report (open rates, subscriber growth, LinkedIn engagement) This is NOT a brand content or marketing role. I need someone who has ghostwritten for executives or founders — ideally in policy, workforce development, equity, clean energy, or public sector adjacent fields. If you've never written for someone whose LinkedIn audience includes county program directors, policy researchers, and community organizers, this is not the right fit. Content volume: one Substack essay every 5–6 weeks (1,200–2,000 words), eight LinkedIn posts per month (two per week: one substantive 150–300 words, one observation 50–100 words), one 30-min interview series per month (you coordinate recording and publish audio + transcript excerpt). Please include in your application: 1. At least one writing sample where you ghostwrote for an executive or founder — ideally something that helped them build an audience or earn a speaking invitation. 2. One sentence describing how you would conduct a first conversation with a new client to learn their voice. 3. Familiarity with JFF's Language of Racial Economic Equity guide or equivalent asset-based language frameworks is required. Name the framework you're familiar with. Rate: $45–$80/hour depending on experience. Estimated 15–20 hours/month. Starting immediately.
