I am finally getting around to optimizing and updating my LinkedIn profile. While my profile is fairly competent today, I am interested in having the Summary overhauled and in guidance on general recommendations for optimizations or improvements that could be made. The last time I re-wrote my summary was many years ago and my career has continued to evolve and expand since then, yet my summary looks juvenile in my opinion. I have been in the IT industry for 20 years and although I have a strong technical background, my experience as an entrepreneur has helped me build a career based on "translating" - that is, translating between the "geeks" and the "executives." I have a strong passion for the "people" side of the IT industry. Although I am happy with my current employment and am not looking for new professional opportunities, piquing the interest of the executive headhunters and recruiters to generate an increased number of incoming opportunity requests is on my list of key objectives to accomplish this year. The ideal candidate is a US-based copywriter with experience optimizing and writing for LinkedIn who can help take my profile (specifically, the Summary) to the next level. Experience as a recruiter or headhunter to understand what they look for when searching for candidates on LinkedIn will be key. History working with IT Professionals, specifically those in the "Cloud" and Enterprise markets is a huge plus. The ideal profile is one that conveys a "Player Coach" mentality and would showcase my successes and strengths growing relationships with customers and building / leading large teams while still being able to call "BS" on the technical folks in the room. A 30 minute phone, e-mail or Skype call consultation to discuss their LinkedIn profile goals and objectives. 2. The writings will be based on the examples I provide to you. Each business description must have unique content. I will pay you $55 USD immediately after you write and successfully upload 50 business descriptions with a length of 15-18 lines to our server. You could also write new content based on sample writing models I present to you. A 25-30 day waiting period is involved for monitoring the descriptions.
