13 years of experience in all aspects of RF design and high-speed PCB development, including antennas, RF front-end circuits, RFID systems, BLE/Wi-Fi/LoRa products, RF components, impedance matching, filters, amplifiers, RF switches, baluns, and antenna tuning. Much of my work has involved RF PCB design, wireless product development, and high-speed digital hardware. This background also extends to RFID readers, transponder-based systems, and FPGA-related hardware projects. I have strong experience in RF and antenna simulation using tools such as HFSS, CST Studio Suite, and Ansys tools for antenna design, RF matching, radiation pattern analysis, impedance optimization, RF front-end validation, and wireless performance improvement. I have strong experience in high-speed PCB design, including multilayer board layout, controlled impedance routing, differential pairs, signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/ESD protection, RF grounding, shielding, and manufacturability. I have worked on FPGA-related projects involving Xilinx, Zynq, Artix-7 FPGA platforms, including data acquisition, signal processing, timing-sensitive interfaces, and high-speed digital board design. My embedded hardware experience includes the setup, integration, and debugging of microcontrollers and embedded platforms such as STM32, ESP32, ESP32-S3, Nordic nRF52832/nRF52840, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and embedded Linux-based systems. I am familiar with RF and wireless ICs/modules including Semtech SX12 series LoRa devices, Nordic BLE chips, ESP32 wireless modules, Quectel LTE/GPS modules, u-blox GPS modules, RFID reader modules, RF filters, LNAs, PAs, RF switches, baluns, and matching networks. For PCB design, I use Altium Designer, KiCad, EasyEDA, Eagle, and OrCAD I also have experience with enclosure design for RF and embedded products, including plastic and metal enclosures, antenna placement, RF keepout areas, mechanical fit checks, connector positioning, thermal considerations, waterproofing concepts, mounting features, and PCB-to-enclosure integration. I understand that enclosure design can directly affect RF performance, antenna efficiency, heat dissipation, usability, and manufacturability, so I always consider the mechanical structure together with the electronics. I have worked for years on IoT devices, wireless sensors, RFID products, antenna-integrated PCB designs, FPGA boards, digital electronics, embedded controllers, data acquisition systems, and prototype-to-production hardware. System engineering and integration have been important parts of many of my projects, especially where RF, firmware, FPGA, PCB design, and enclosure design must work together reliably. My main strength is not only designing a schematic or PCB, but building complete hardware that works reliably in the real world. I always consider RF performance, signal integrity, grounding, shielding, power stability, EMI/ESD protection, enclosure integration, manufacturability, testing, and long-term reliability from the beginning of the design.

I am an embedded Linux developer with a wide range of experience across industries and technologies. I have 15 years of experience working directly with clients and delivering cost-effective solutions. I have done web application development (front end and back end), desktop software, embedded systems (Linux and Windows), scripting, security risk evaluation, and CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Deployment) process development. No matter if it's complex code, legacy code, low-level drivers, or high level systems, I can help design and develop the solution that's right for you. My primary focus is on embedded Linux platforms. I often support clients with customized board support packages that take care of any platform-level support so their application team can target the platform without needing to worry about package support, driver support, security concerns, and system reliability. In this area I have a lot of experience developing and fixing kernel drivers, configuring device trees, setting up secure boot and encryption schemes, transitioning systems to read-only, configuring and customizing components.

With a foundation in electrical engineering and extensive experience at firms like Intel and ManTech, I am an engineering consultant specializing in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for complex embedded systems. My work is driven by a deep-seated desire to solve challenging problems and a conviction that any system can be understood at its core. I bridge the critical gap between hardware and software, leveraging my skills in C/C++ , Python, embedded Linux, and AWS cloud services to deliver robust solutions. My expertise in MBSE, using SysML and UML with tools like MagicDraw and Cameo EA, was honed while architecting large-scale counter-drone projects and reverse-engineering complex C++ applications for IoT devices. As the founder of Considerate Systems LLC, I apply this full-spectrum experience—from RF system design and PCB layout to cloud integration and machine learning—to help clients save time and reduce costs throughout the entire design lifecycle

I build embedded products that ship and keep working in the field. Ten-plus years in, my firmware runs on more than 5,000 deployed units across industrial automation, robotics, consumer IoT, and edge AI. Most went out knowing they'd see heat, vibration, bad power, and users who don't read the manual. They still work. Along the way I cut an ESP32 wearable's sleep current from 80 uA to under 10 uA, ran a zero-brick OTA across a 5,000-unit fleet using secure boot and TLS, and took products through FCC and CE at accredited labs. What sets me apart from most firmware contractors is that I also own the board and the box. So when a sensor reads noisy, I know whether it's the driver, the layout, or the analog front end, because I drew all three. Manufacturability and reliability don't get bolted on at the end. They're decided on day one, while the part placement, the thermal path, and the enclosure seal are all still on the table. I design for certification from the schematic forward, not as a scramble after tooling. WHAT I DO DAY TO DAY • Firmware. C/C++ on ESP32 (ESP-IDF and Arduino), nRF52840 (nRF Connect SDK / Zephyr), STM32, and ARM Cortex-M/A, on FreeRTOS or bare-metal. BLE, Wi-Fi, sub-GHz, MQTT, and the low-power work to make a coin cell last. Plus 8+ years of embedded Linux (Yocto, device tree, U-Boot, PREEMPT-RT) and Jetson with CUDA, TensorRT, and GStreamer. • PCB design. Schematic capture and multi-layer layout, not a hand-off to someone else. I brought up a custom NVIDIA Jetson Orin carrier from a blank schematic to production, and laid out a compact wearable board (Nordic BLE, sensors, Li-Po) where every millimeter mattered. Comfortable with analog front ends, high-speed routing, power integrity, and EMC/ESD, with DfM baked in so the board is buildable at volume. • Mechanical CAD. SolidWorks (Fusion 360 too) in PDM-managed environments: parts, assemblies, and drawings for real enclosures. Injection-molding constraints, IP68 silicone overmold, gasket and tolerance work. I've carried housings from 3D-printed prototype to a tooled-mold production direction. RECENT WORK • An autonomous 4-wheel ROS 2 platform on Jetson fusing IMU, lidar, radar, and camera (NDA) • A driver-assist weather-state estimator on Jetson using Kalman multi-sensor fusion • A sealed multi-sensor wearable where I owned firmware, PCB, and the IP68 enclosure end to end (NDA) Got a product that needs to become real hardware, not a prototype on a desk? Send me the spec or a schematic and I'll tell you where the risks are. Happy to go deep work one-on-one.
