My preference is to meet at your home or business. Some types of legal work -- such as family law and estate planning -- benefit from home visits. Elders and children, for instance, often have trouble travelling or feeling comfortable in new environments. Business owners often keep important documents on-site for me to review then-and-there. ---Open Communication--- The biggest complaint people have about attorneys is that they do not communicate regularly or consistently. In contrast, I provide monthly updates to every client unless they expressly tell me they only want updates when there is something to pass along.
