After a long, successful career in the airline and travel/tourism businesses, I've gone solo, bringing my expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading with me. While I may be more experienced working in these exciting and quickly changing industries, in recent years I've spread my wings, so-to-speak, working with architects, psychologists, authors, lawyers, flight instructors, and web developers, just to name a few. For more than 25 years, my final approval was required on literally hundreds (okay, thousands), of brochures, catalogs, marketing emails, web pages, press releases, pieces of company correspondence, and anything else that a wholesale travel company produces. My attention to detail was well known by my employers and co-workers, as well as my insistence that nothing grammatically incorrect be permitted to leave the office.
