A Montana-based financial company is launching a modern card and treasury program — a branded payment card plus an interest-bearing business account — built on best-in-class fintech vendors. We need a contract program manager to run point on execution as we move from build to launch. This is vendor-orchestration and service-delivery work, NOT a coding role. You sit at the center of the card processor, banking/ledger core, sponsor bank, compliance, and treasury, and keep the pieces fitting, the SLAs holding, and milestones landing. What you'll do: - Own the program plan, milestones, and delivery cadence end to end. - Coordinate third-party vendors (card processor, banking core, payment rails, KYC/KYB) — scope, SLAs, escalations, integration timelines. - Work with our engineering lead to turn requirements into delivery and clear blockers. - Keep program operations aligned with our compliance/BSA function (SOC 2 environment). - Stand up runbooks: incident/problem/change, monitoring, reconciliation, vendor governance. What we're looking for: - Program/project management in fintech, payments, card issuing, banking-as-a-service, or financial-services delivery. - Strong multi-vendor management against SLAs and KPIs. - ITIL (incident/problem/change) and Agile/Scrum/Kanban; Jira or equivalent. - Comfort at the seam of business, engineering, and compliance. - Bonus: issuer-processor, core/ledger banking, ACH/payment rails, or treasury/reconciliation experience. This is part-time to start (~15-20 hrs/week) with room to grow — we want the person who runs this program long-term, not a one-off deliverable.
