Job overview

We are looking for a dynamic Agile Project Manager to oversee program management and guide our cross-functional teams in the agile process. This role focuses on defining project scope, managing deliverables, and fostering collaboration across our agile teams to meet key milestones. 

The Agile Project Manager will work closely with the scrum master and product owner to facilitate agile ceremonies, allocate resources, and ensure project alignment with business objectives. In addition to managing projects in an agile environment, this role will involve mentoring team members and applying a proactive management approach to drive outcomes.

Key responsibilities 

The Agile Project Manager’s core duties include:

  • Project planning and execution. Develop comprehensive project plans, setting clear project goals and deliverables while managing timelines and resource allocation.
  • Agile ceremony facilitation. Lead agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain project momentum.
  • Stakeholder communication. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing customer expectations.
  • Risk and impediment management. Identify and address potential risks or impediments, utilizing problem-solving and risk management techniques to maintain project flow.
  • Continuous improvement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging iterative progress and adherence to agile principles and best practices.


Qualifications and skills 

Our ideal candidate should possess:

  • Education. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with PMP, PMI, or CSM certifications, is highly valued.
  • Work experience. Proven track record in agile project management within software development or similar agile-focused environments, with experience in both traditional project management and agile management approach.
  • Technical skills. Proficiency in agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, as well as tools like Jira or Trello to manage backlog and project flow.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills. Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
