The company started out as just a small trading company but my boss decided that she wanted to enter the printing industry because of its earning potential. So, she just brought me with her to a supplier of offset printing machines and bought one. We didn't know anything about printing. She just gave me a month to get the machine running in good condition and start the printing business. After a month, with a lot of self-study on the industry, market and process, the printing business started. A year after, I was able to add 1 more 6-color offset printer since the business was already picking up. Jollibee, Petronas, Waterfront Hotel, Xlibris were some of our clients, to name a few. After 3 years, we branched out to Mindanao. When it came to high quality printing, it was MacMayer that clients went to. It was a one-woman show at first, from conception, printing production to sales. After 1 year, since I could no longer handle everything on my own, we already made a proper organizational structure. I don't give up easily, don't take no for an answer, and I always encourage people to try everything they could before they say, something is impossible to do.
