I am a native English speaker from the southern United States who lived and worked in São Paulo state in Brazil for 4 years where I began my career in translation. I always knew I wanted to immerse myself in another culture in order to learn the language fully, so I packed up and moved myself to Campinas, Brazil in 2015. I loved the language so much I decided to put my skills in English to good use and help students at the University of Campinas translate their academic papers and doctoral theses.
