I have been a training professional for over thirty years with extensive eLearning experience and hold a BS in Industrial Technology and an MS in Industrial Training. The majority of my career has been spent designing, developing, and managing eLearning programs for a variety of clients and industries. Specific Project Highlights: • Mark Steiner assisted CDWs IT department in the eLearning support (Captivate) of a new internally developed sales tool rolled out to the entire sales force. The tool transitioned from mainframe to GUI interface and the eLearning helped support successful performance of all tasks on the new system. The courses were posted on the CDW LearnCenter LMS. • Mark Steiner partnered with Sanofi to design eLearning courses for pharmaceutical sales reps for an iPad application that they used on a daily basis. The application (iEI) helped manage their clients, routes, sequencing, sales intervals, sample dispensing to name a few. The training included Overviews and Simulations (You Try Its) for the learners to practice their skills. • Mark Steiner designed and developed eLearning courses for a new integrated system that managed materials, processes, R & D, and approval of Johnson & Johnson products. This training supported multiple user populations and roles. • Mark Steiner worked with United Airlines to update their online course evaluation and remediation approach and execution. This resulted in a new eLearning code base which was implemented department wide within the Global Customer Service Design & Deployment department. • Mark Steiner partnered with BMO Harris to envision and design a multi-layered training approach for new and existing loan officers. The first layer was a set of overview modules to provide foundational knowledge to new loan officers. Next, a set of software simulations were created allowing loan officers to step through key loan tasks performed within an internal broad, comprehensive system. And finally, Capstone Business Simulations were created simulating a "Day in the Life" of a loan officer. This was a 3-course set with each course simulating one week in a loan officer's work life. • Mark Steiner was engaged by the Brookfield Zoo to create their first ever eLearning courses for their employees and the many volunteers that work at the zoo.
