I have over two decades experience in Civil and Architectural Design. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D I have helped design both large and small civil projects. Project types include site grading, house pad placement, and foundation, driveway design. Subdivision with site layout, survey work integration, sewer, water, roads, and power. City water systems using wells, river sand reservoir feed both transmission and distribution. I have managed and trained a 17 member CAD team including civil, architectural, electrical, landscaping and surveying, setting up a network that feeds standards, file systems, support files, templates, and styles. Creating a consistent and efficient design environment.

I have 25+ years' experience in many diverse fields in Cad and design. The last 16 years I worked in the low voltage industry. This included Fire Alarm in which I am NICET 3 certified. I have experience in security, video surveillance and intrusion. Over these 25 years I also worked in the Mechanical drafting and Architecture fields. I have done everything from creating 'as built' drawings to recreating floor plans from PDF or hardcopies. Created shop drawings for manufacturing various mechanical components. I have also provided shop drawings for metal and plastic fabrication. I have had the chance to write LISP routines and create dynamic blocks to customize or automate the process in creating 2D drawing packages. I have used 3D software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, REVIT and Fusion 360.
