I am a Dutch native speaker who is fluent in English and Spanish and I share my time between the Netherlands and Colombia. I started my translation career in 2019, translating subtitles for TV programs from either English or Spanish to Dutch. Since then, I have been translating and writing SEO optimised articles in lifestyle, marketing, finance and sports. As a qualified physiotherapist who has practised in Spanish, English and Dutch language, medical and health knowledge is one of my points of expertise, but my specialisation lies in localisation and writing copy about finance and sports betting. I have been freelancing for The Bogotá Post, an English language newspaper in Colombia, between 2014 and 2022. I was responsible for the sports section as well as some of its online presence. The responsibility of writing and editing stories, managing other writers, and taking charge of the website and social media has given me a wide range of experience. In the political and news department of the newspaper, I have been responsible for fact-checking stories.
