Hello. I'm João. I'm working since 2001 in the area of Linguistics, Literature and Tutoring. During this past years I worked as a Portuguese, Spanish and related signatures tutor with students from our national system, and students from international schooling systems. During this period I've worked as a text reviewer (essays, blogs, articles), a translator (technical translation, movie's subtitles translation, literary translation), translating Spanish to Portuguese, English to Portuguese, and the vice versa. I'm pretty comfortable with being challenged when it comes to writing, reviewing and translating, and I tend to work fast, but take my tame to make sure everything's perfect. As an addition to my experience with languages, I'm a musician, music producer, editor and engineer. I consider it my second life, a passion, and a job that I enjoy very much. I play with a progressive rock band 'a-nimal', and with an artistic independent collective 'A Besta' where I play with several projects, I record bands, mix them, master sound, etc. I also work with digital music since I'm a kid and I like to perform and compose. I'm really used to work with audio, so all the edits, cuts, improvements, effects, collages, recordings, are my top skills.
