This was an actual pitch from a "professional copywriter" on a Facebook job board. And somehow... it wasn't even the worst one. You see, some poor client had posted a simple request: "Write a headline selling yourself as a copywriter" He was met with some of the best (worst) headlines I’ve ever seen: ––– “𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲...𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼. 😊” (Phew. I can finally stop looking.) “𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝘇? 𝗜'𝗺 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝘆: 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻, 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁-𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗽-𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗵, 𝗡𝗼-𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆!” (“I Used ChatGPT To Write My Headline!”) “𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟭: 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀. FULL of hacks and half-literate people desperately pitching themselves as copywriters, when they don't have the FIRST clue about writing hooks, or even grammatically correct sentences! Now, I could launch into the usual pitch about my credentials, but I'll keep it simple: 1. I’m personally mentored by an 8 figure copywriter. (globally ranked #13 in 2023) 2. I’ve been in the copywriting space for over a year, worked with 10+ different online businesses (see my video), and LOVE marketing. If you want to hire one of the “copywriters” above for $3/hr, you're more than welcome. But if you’re after emails or landing pages that ACTUALLY convert, shoot me an invite and let’s make it happen. You don't need someone who’s fluent in your industry jargon, you need someone WHO CAN SELL. 𝗤: “𝗢𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻... 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹?" A: Well, my mentor made 8 figures. He certainly could sell.
