I have been telling stories consistently since I was performing puppet shows in the living room as a kid. While my puppet friends and I have parted ways, I still cannot stop myself from seeking out stories and comedy - whether that's in everyday conversations or in my writing. In 2012 I began working on my own personal humor blog satirizing culture, politics, and myself. Working with kids from 2016 to 2019 also gave me an insight into young minds, helping me develop my own sense of creativity and imagination.
While studying to get my degree in Writing from Eastern University, I discovered my passion for collaboration as editor-in-chief of Inklings, the college literary magazine. I also had the opportunity to write several short plays alongside the actors that would be performing in them, which was a valuable lesson in learning how to write for and with other people. I am constantly using this skill as a freelancer, balancing my own creative voice with the needs of my clients.
My favorite projects have been the children's books, middle grade books, and young adult novels that I have ghostwritten. However, I can write for any age, and have written many genres, from humor, to science fiction, to fantasy, and thriller. For me, the most rewarding aspect of writing is helping others find their voices through believable characters and intriguing plots. This is not the only way to tell a story, though, as I have also helped create various funny scripts for YouTube, the stage, and other types of media. Is your story already written, you just need someone else to take a look and suggest improvements? I can edit it as well, telling you the hard truths while sticking to your vision. If you have a story you'd like to tell, feel free to reach out and I'd love to discuss how I can help.
As an editor, I've worked with authors from all over the world, and am currently a freelance editor with Indigo River Publishing based in Pensacola, Florida. With Indigo River, I work as an editor and as an author coach, communicating with writers to help make sure their books are as perfect as they can be - all while sticking with their original visions.
I can write at a fixed rate of $0.19 per word (for books of 10,000+ words) or $0.21 per word (for books below 10,000 words). My editing rate is around $0.11 per word, depending on how extensive the edits need to be. I can work on hourly projects too, and I estimate being able to write between 400-800 words per hour and edit between 800-1,600 words per hour.

Storytelling has been a passion of mine since I was a child and I've spent the past six years turning that passion into a career. I graduated from Arcadia University in 2018 where I studied communications, creative writing, and cinema. I've participated in several workshops in and out of school to help sharpen my skills as a writer.
As a ghostwriter, collaboration is important to me. I am always available to talk and discuss new ideas with clients. It is my job to take your ideas and turn them into fully fledged stories. I'm detail oriented, focused, and organized so you can trust that I am on top of all the projects I'm working on.
As a developmental editor, my experience with narrative storytelling will help you refine your manuscripts. I will read your manuscript and leave comments in the document highlighting specific suggestions. You will also receive a detailed editorial report.
When I'm not working on projects for clients, I'm working on my own romantic comedies that I'm hoping to publish within the next year!

Welcome to my profile! For as long as you stay, I hope you enjoy your time!
Your number one question should be whether or not you need my services. My number one question is have you finished your manuscript? If you can answer yes to that question, then you’re in need of a book expert—someone who is capable of editing your manuscript for:
❖ Content (flow, character development, plot development, etc.);
❖ Grammar (noun-verb agreement, danglers, tense, word usage, etc.);
❖ Spelling (is it their, there, or they're?);
❖ Punctuation (does that comma go there, is that the proper formatting for an ellipsis?);
❖ Proper capitalization of terms (Government or government?);
❖ Proper treatment of numbers (101 or one hundred and one?);
❖ Proper formatting of foreign terms (avec vous?);
❖ Quotations and dialogue formatting (single quotations for a quote inside of character speech or double?);
❖ Reference formatting and fact checking; and
❖ So many other editing errors I’ve come across in my eleven years of editing for authors.
However, I’m not just an editor. I’m capable of formatting the interior of your manuscript for electronic publication and paperback publication for the following platforms:
❖ Amazon KDP
❖ Barnes & Noble's Nook
❖ Kobo
❖ Smashwords
❖ Lulu
❖ BookBaby
If you are thinking of publishing on a different platform, I’m a quick learner. Honestly, there are a few things to tweak here and there to make a document compatible on a different platform. Just ask, and I’ll let you know if I can work my magic.
Interested in my specs?
I’ve professionally content edited, line edited, copyedited, proofread, and formatted manuscripts for self-publication, submission to literary agents, and submission to publishers for the past eleven years working with a myriad of different genres. I’m always looking to learn something new.
When I’m not editing, I’m rereading the Chicago Manual of Style—currently in its eighteenth edition—or taking continuing education courses via the Editorial Freelancer’s Association and online college courses. I believe in continuously learning, and editing is an ever-changing field. If you haven’t guessed, I focus specifically on the Chicago Manual of Style, the most commonly accepted and preferred style for literary agents, publishers, and review publications (the New York Times).
I have worked for self-publishers, boutique publishers, content creation services, medium publishers, and literary agents. I keep my prices at the lower spectrum for editing and formatting as I believe every book deserves the chance to shine.
Please ask me about my:
❖ Editor's Letters (Developmental, Line, and Copyediting)
❖ Style Guides
Both are included with the price of my bid for your project.
I know that was a lot to take in, and you undoubtedly have questions for me. Please feel free to send me a message at any time with your questions, and I will respond as soon as humanly possible.

Every artist’s journey, like every story, has an origin. There is a beginning, middle, and end. Though the conclusion of my journey has not been decided, I can fill you in on the origins. Hopefully, that will give you an insight into me as a creator.
The first book I ever read was Stephen King’s “It.” For years, I’d see its spine, sitting among my father’s library, sharing me with the seemingly innocent lone red balloon below chilling typography. When I finally got the nerve to pluck it out and start reading, the story contained within sparked something in me. That ignited my love for writing.
For me, writing started with simple little stories featuring my friends, meant to make them laugh. That evolved into longer tales, with make-believe characters embroiled in fantastical tales of fantasy, horror, love, and even the mundane banality of everyday life. A love for film bled into each sentence, each paragraph creating the building blocks of a wholly unique style that prioritized pacing and excitement over showing off an expansive vocabulary.
When I was fifteen, everything in my life came to a screeching halt. I was diagnosed with a serious chronic illness that stole not only a decade and a half of however long I will end up having on this Earth but also stole my love for storytelling. Those long years of frequent hospital visits and isolation created a unique perspective on life which came into play once my health issues were finally resolved.
Once my health improved, I found myself behind all my peers, hamstrung when the race of life began. I rediscovered a love for writing. It didn’t only include storytelling. I became a freelance ghostwriter.
I work fast without sacrificing creativity or quality. My writing style is wholly unique as I’ve taken great lengths to find and stick with my voice instead of copying or being inspired by others. And I have versatility and an ability to learn new styles that make me invaluable in any potential client’s project. I sincerely hope I will get the opportunity to prove this to you. Thank you for your time and interest.
