My background, which heavily influences my writing, spans a range from Evangelical Christianity to punk rock and skepticism. I studied physics in college, then dropped out to become a filmmaker, only to stumble upon a decade-plus career as a commercial banker. I've lived a lot of the spectrum that is America and I like to explore its meaning, nuance, and conflict in high-concept stories.
