We're a custom apparel firm looking to work closely with someone to implement fully offline conversion tracking for us. Our end goal is tying together this info with campaign, ad copy, keyword level data and other data sets to automate our bidding processes and increase our ability to be up-to-date competitive.
This will thus require someone intimately familiar with Adwords. It will also require expertise in the following topics:
1. Data source mapping - CRM, Ad Platforms, etc.
Because we're using a custom solution, you'll need to understand the inns and outs of what our CRM is capable of and how to best integrate it with AdWords. This is a home-brewed CRM and highly specialized.
2. Data capture - Custom code to cookie marketing values for enhanced offline revenue attribution
We'll want to establish attribution modeling so we can be certain of tracking success correctly. Ideally, this will be a cookie that persists for a 90-day period that is inserted as a hidden field when a lead/purchase form is filled out. We would then pass this data into our CRM for enhanced reporting.
3. Data sources integration - Combine offline and online data sets for end to end revenue tracking
Ideally, this will be automated so as to conserve manhours.
4. ROI tracking automation - Create solution to automate the insertion of revenue data back into AdWords for ongoing PPC optimization
